I'm on your magical mystery ride

"Hyung." Hyunsik turned. He hummed as a respond to his dongseng. The puppy eye younger stared at his sweet brother. "Can hyung sent Jaejae to Nielie's house? I want to play with him and his hyung. Nielie said his hyung is treating me ice cream! Ice cream for the summer!" The younger squealed and raised his voice saying out loud the word ice cream. Hyunsik chuckled and patted his dongseng's head and ruffled the hair.

"Already done your homework for today, um?" The younger nodded vigorously. Homework just like a piece of cake to the genius younger. Hyunsik was glad to have such a brilliant dongseng like him and indeed helping him much in house chores. They lived together alone for long, after 4 years ago losing both of their parents in an accident. That time, Hyunsik was in his second year junior highschool while the younger was 5 years old.

"Hyunsik hyung~" The younger whined. Hyunsik chuckled.

"Arasseo, arasseo. Let me finished this one last line. You should go and get ready now, Sungjae."

"Aip, aip, captain Lim!" Sungjae saluted and skipped happily out of his brother room. Hyunsik finished his essay homework for today. He smiled to the picture on the table. His family's picture. After the accident happened, Hyunsik became independent and be a strong brother to Sungjae. With the help of their uncle, they lived out moderately and without worries as their uncle were willing to give money for their living expenses. Hyunsik closed his book and got ready to sent Sungjae to his friend's house.

"Hyung~ ppalli~"

"Coming." Hyunsik walked to the door. Sungjae was standing at the main door. Hyunsik checked around before taking the house key. He took Sungjae's hand and walked out. He locked the door and kept the key in his pocket."Let's go." Sungjae nodded and the siblings walked together.

Hyunsik pressed the bell. A familiar voice answered and soon the door opened. "Ouh, hey Sikkie." Hyunsik smiled to the red haired guy in front of him. Sungjae bowed to the guy.

"Hi, Hyukkie hyung."

"Ouh, here you are. Peniel! Your friend is here!" The guy called someone. A run heard and then a kid appeared behind the door. Sungjae squealed.

"Nielie~" Peniel grinned. 

"Come in Jaejae, let's start the game. All is set." Peniel pulled Sungjae in, Sungjae opened his shoe quick and followed Peniel to the room. Hyunsik blinked. The red haired guy chuckled to see Hyunsik's expression.

"They are cute. Anyway, you wanna come? I think it's waste of energy if you went back and come to pick him up after. I can't see him today, there's another guest in. My cousin is here." He said. Hyunsik looked at him.

"Ouh, if I knew, I should bring something to fill my time." Hyunsik said.

"No worries, I'm watching movie with my cousin. You can join." Hyunsik scratched his back neck.

"Is it okay with him?"

"Don't worry much. Come." Hyunsik nodded. He entered the house, following the guy behind.

"Minhyukkie hyung, bring some more popcorn. The bowl is empty." A voice heard. Hyunsik raised his brow while Minhyuk, the red haired guy chuckled.

"Arasseo! By the way, my friend is joining us watching movie. He's Peniel's friend's brother, Lim Hyunsik. Sikkie, he's Jung Ilhoon. One year younger." Hyunsik bowed a bit when he was introduced. The slender guy on the couch didn't turn but nodded a bit. Hyunsik can't see the face but noticed the golden hair from the back. "Go and sit, I'm getting popcorn for the 'queen'."

The guy named Ilhoon snapped and pushed the pause button, in seconds he turned to Minhyuk. "Yah." Minhyuk chuckled and ran to the kitchen. Ilhoon pouted and looked away. At that time, Hyunsik's eyes met his.

A dead silence. Hyunsik stunned while Ilhoon didn't look away even a bit. Both still staring each other. Breathtakingly silence and wonderful short of time cut by a whine. "Ilhoonie~ did you left the refrigerator open again? I did remind you that refrigerator need to be closed properly, don't smack it close. Oh, Sikkie. Come and sit together." Minhyuk said. Hyunsik blinked and nodded. He moved to the empty place beside Minhyuk. Minhyuk sat in between Ilhoon and Hyunsik. Ilhoon cleared his throat and played back the clip. Hyunsik bit his lips, his check flushed to remember he did stun to meet Ilhoon's eyes for the first time. It feels...so magical. Ilhoon ignored anything and just focused to the story. But sometimes, both of them caught a glance to the other. Being caught, they smiled to themselves. Minhyuk was oblivious, but the two sparked a bloom.

Hyunsik stared at Ilhoon's sad face. He felt sad too right then. The reality hit them. Ilhoon needed to get back to his house. His long summer visit to his cousin's house ended today. Ilhoon looked up to Hyunsik. Hyunsik's heart clenched. "Don't cry. I feel suffocated to see your tears."
