You went to school the next day feeling... somewhat tired. So tired that you could just stay sleeping and maybe hibernate like a bear during the winter.

“Sun Young. Wake up.” You heard with murmurs.

You opened your eyes a bit and saw Hana.

“Wake up. What's wrong with you today?” Hana whined.

“I'm so tired.” You groaned and knocked your head on the cafeteria table.

“Why? Did you stay up late again?”

“No.” You said instantly, “I'm just really tired today. I don't know why.”

Hana sighed, “Well I can't help you. School's starting in a few minutes too.”

“I know.” You groaned with frustration.

“Hi, Hana!” Tao sit across from the table, “What's wrong with your friend today?”

“Sun Young? I don't know. She says she's really tired and she didn't even stay up.”

“Did you take pills or something?” Tao asked.

“No.”

“Drugs.”

“Never.”

“?”

“No-what!?” Your head and eyes shot up at Tao.

“Tao! Of course she wouldn't! She's not that gross!” Hana defended and scolded Tao.

“Sorry,” Tao smiled, “Just wondering.”

“Ew, especially that: never.” You said harshly.

Then you remembered.... Tao likes Hana.

You smirked, “So, Tao, right?” You asked as if you totally forgot his name.

“Yep.”

“What's your relationship with Hana?” You asked starting to feel very mischievous.

Tao blushed, “Um. Just good friends.”

“Uhuh.” You looked into his eyes. Watching his eyes look at your index finger rub in circles against the table.

Tao swallowed hard, “Just friends. Right, Hana?”

“Yeah! Of course, Tao! Sun Young, stop it. You're scaring him.” Hana slapped your arm.

You laughed, “Just kidding, Tao. I already know you.” You yawned, “Well. We better get to class.” You stood up and walked away.

Let's see how patient you are, Tao.

You sat down in your desk and waited for the school bell to ring. “I'm still so tired.” Your eyes drooped.

RING!

You stood up with your eyes wide open, “Stay awake. Stay awake!” You hissed to yourself as the students started coming in.

The teacher came in and instantly started giving lectures.

Your eyes drooped. Then opened. Dropped lower. Tried to keep open. Close. Open a bit. Close. Close.

“Sun Young!” You heard someone madly yell.

You jumped up and looked around to see the teacher tapping her foot in front of you. , “Teacher Roy.” You stood up, scared.

Teacher Roy tsked, “Sun Young, Sun Young. Detention. Go to the principals office.”

You lowered your head and heard the “oohs” in the classroom. You took your bag and headed out for the office.

“Great. Detention again.” You groaned as you opened the door of the office.

The Principal looked at you, “Come in.”

You bowed your head and sat down on the seat next to you. But you looked over and saw someone else, “Luhan?”

Luhan looked over, “Hi.”

“You're in detention too?” You furrowed your brows.

“Something like that.”

“So,” the principal said, “Why are you both here?”

Luhan spoke up first, “Detention for sleeping in class.

The principal looked at you for your answer.

“Same. Sleeping in class.”

“And you're both in the same class?”

“Yes.”

“Huh. Well today is a teacher and staff meeting day so I'll let you both go until school's done. Go to lunch, then come back here. Got it?”

“Yes, sir.” You bowed.

“Good. I'll be back. It's my lunch break.” The principal stood up and left you and Luhan alone in the office.

Luhan scoffed, “Wow. I can't believe you would get into detention.”

“Shut up. I was tired.” You grumbled.

There was a long awkward silence.

You and Luhan walked out at the same time, “I'll take you home.”

“What?” Your ears perked up.

“I'll take you home.” He pointed to the car.

You thought for a while, “I-... I don't want to go home. Not yet.”

Luhan's brow came up, “Oh? Then I'll take you to my place?”

“Sure.” You followed him inside the car.

You didn't want to be yelled at. Not again.

Luhan opened the door and you both went inside of his house.

“So why don't you want to go home?” Luhan asked all of the sudden.

You shook your head. You didn't want to talk about it.

Luhan sighed, “Want to watch a movie?”

“Sure.” You replied and walked into his living room. Boy was it big. You sat down on the long, white, stainless couch and sank down.

Luhan sat with his legs crossed on the ground and looked through Netflix for movies, “What do you want to watch?”

“Anything. Anything exciting.” You said. It was so awkward between the two of you. It was really awkward because Luhan wasn't teasing you, picking on you, or yelling at you.

Luhan picked Lion King, “Are you fine with it?”

“It's fine.” You smiled.

Luhan sat on the couch beside you and stayed quiet.

You fiddled with your fingers.

“Want something to eat?”

“Huh? Uh, yeah, sure.” You shrugged awkwardly.

Luhan stood up and left to the kitchen.

“Weird.” You thought, “He would've called out for his maid.”

Luhan came back with popcorn and soda, “Here.” He gave you the bag and sat back down beside you.

You took some and ate it. Then looked at Luhan, “Want some?”

Luhan shook his head no.

“Come on.” You grabbed a handful of popcorn and put it in his face.

But Luhan refused and moved your hand aside, “Stop.”

You laughed, wanting to , “Eat it, Luhan.”

“No.” Luhan grumbled.

You laughed, “Eat it.” You both looked at each other, “Please?”

Luhan sighed and let you feed him.

You giggled, “Good boy.”

Luhan rolled his eyes.

You faced back at the front and stood there. Awkward silence again.

“Did you know that Tao likes Hana?” Luhan spoke up.

“I know. It's obvious.”

“He's trying to deny it, but he can't. He just admitted yesterday that he really likes her.”

“Really?”

“He's gonna confess to her at the party this week.”

“Good luck with that.” You said sarcastically.

“He got mad when he heard that Hana was getting married to that old guy.”

“Oh.”

“He got so mad, he almost broke Baekhyun's pencil eyeliners.”

“Wow.”

Luhan looked at you, “I know someone in my group that likes you.”

“And should I know who this person is?” You asked, looking back at him.

“Nope. If I do, I'm dead.”

“Tell me. I keep secrets very well.”

Luhan scoffed, “Oh really?” Luhan shifted his position to face you better.

You positioned yourself as well, “Yeah.”

“No.”

“Please?”

“No.”

“Please, Luhan.”

“I said no.”

“I won't tell.”

“Fine.” Luhan sighed in defeat. “But you have to keep this a secret.”

“I will. Don't worry.”

Luhan leaned in to whisper in your ear, “Ready?”

“Yeah.”

“The person who liked you a long time is...”

And Luhan met lips with yours.

“Me.”
