Isle of Sirens, Gladiolus Hill

            Sooyoung raises her sword and is about to plunge it Yuto’s heart when a bolt of lightning hits the ground where they stand and she is thrown aback. A huge tornado appears out of nowhere and carries up the wounded Aonian prince while thunderbolts continue to aim at the Arachnidan princess. A massive storm tries to push back the powerful Arachnidan forces but it is of no avail for the warriors of war continue on their route with any hint of fear.

            At the center of the storm a young Wyndoxian prince cradles his lover as he takes the critically wounded man back to the Aonian air ship. The Crown Princess of Arachnides grumbles in annoyance as she ends her act of dodging the lightning bolts and stares at her mortal enemy’s escape.

            “Coward! Eish just when I am about to end his life!” Sooyoung mutters as she throws her spear to the ground using it as a target for the lightning bolts. She mounts her fire steed and a leaves the hill in frustration.

Heiyan Bay, Aonian Airship

Flashback

            Prince Chinen looks on with worried eyes as the battle in Gladiolus Hill commences. Yuto should have heeded his warning and not go through with his plan. The Wyndoxian Prince has warned his lover of the approaching Arachnidan battalion but his lover is too stubborn to listen.

            His glaze becomes more intense as he sees the Aonian forces losing their defenses as the Arachnidan force continues to attack them. Then suddenly like a vivid nightmare he sees the Aonian forces being slowly defeated. He can clearly hear the Rysian king’s voice in the communication line as he yells at Yuto to retreat. The generals aboard the main air ship begin to panic and chaos breaks lose. Aonian generals are now yelling at each other while troops are deployed to rescue Prince Yuto. The Aonian crown prince can do nothing asides panic and mope in one corner. He feels assurance as he sees the troops of Rysia and Shou also rushing to the rescue. But the world seems to have stopped and their forces cannot enter the hill. He hears the Rysian king muttering “Damn Oberis!”

            Their forces cannot enter the area where the battle is currently happening. His heart is starting to beat fast and his vision becomes blurry as the reality slowly sinks in. His lover is in danger and none of the regnorum here can help him. The mess that is happening in the air ship jumbles up his mind and clouds his rationality. He stands up and leaves the ship without second thoughts about what he is intending to do…

Present

            As he reaches the main air ship Aonian soldiers immediately rushes to Yuto’s aid. The crown prince thanks him whole heartedly but he on the other hand has realized what he has done. He has broken the vow of the Triad by saving his lover and involving in the war. He knows that he will be punished for his crime. He looks at Yuto one last time before shutting himself up in his quarters. Has he done what is right? He asks himself as he waits for the news of his betrayal to reach the Triad.

El  Hazard, Winaris

            Seohyun slumps in her bed as images of their burning world flashes through her mind like a broken disk. She thought that these images are just mere dreams but the images she sees suddenly becomes more vivid. No matter where she looks she can see the darkness and she continues to hear the voice of the woman telling her of their fate. She has been withholding her thoughts from her mother but if this continues to occur then the Queen will soon find out. She is sweating in her bed and another image flashes through her mind this time of a boy clothe in black. Before she can even think of where she has seen the boy she is racked by intense pain and loses her consciousness.

            Queen Taehee rushes to her daughter’s quarters upon hearing the news of what has happened to her. She can see it now, all the things that her daughter has hidden from her. The visions of the world in flames whilst being covered in darkness, is this what her bestfriend has seen? She asks herself. But something is still bothering her. Seohyun’s visions seem to be fragments and not all of it has been revealed to her. Something is amiss and this greatly troubles her. Meanwhile she can vaguely see the events currently happening in Heirus. A certain Wyndoxian prince has shaken the ties of the three closest regnorum in Tartharac.

Verano, Salmaria

            Queen Jiyoung is fuming with anger and news of a certain air regnum’s involvement in the war occurring in the Heiyan Bay reaches her. The Queen of Salmaria is not only angry she is enraged. This is an act of betrayal in the part of the Triad! Of all things they have to meddle with this one. They will feel the wrath of the summer and the seasons for their treachery she says to herself.

            “Call my generals!” She yells at her attendants. “We have a war to attend to. There is no way I am letting this one slide. I knew that those lying men who make up the Triad are all bastards!”

            As she makes her way to her throne room her daughter eyes her with worry and uncertainty. The crown princess Sunny rubs her temple in frustration. She knows that her mother has been waiting for a chance like this for forever. She prepares herself for the upcoming journey to the Heiyan bay.

Schatten, Heirus

                     King Ohno arrives in Schatten looking disheveled and frustrated as a peasant. He is sweating hard as the news of what his son has done reached him in Synora. He is led by the Heirusian guards directly into the great hall where his fellow kings are waiting.

            As soon as he enters the great room King Tomo yells at him in anger.

            “What were you thinking OHNO?!! SENDING YOUR SON WITH AONE INTO THE HEIYAN BAY?!!!”

            “Toma…” he tries to explain.

            “DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR SON HAS DONE?!!!” King Toma continues to yell. King Junno stands up and restrains the angry King of Onaris.

           “Toma calm down. I am sure Ohno has an explanation for this idiotic act.” King Juno says coldly.

            The room quiets down and he begins to speak.

            “I knew I made a mistake sending my son with Prince Yuto but I assure I did not approve of it. Chinen was already nearing the Heiyan bay when news has reached me that he is aboard the air ship!”

            “You knew it was a stupid and suicidal idea betrothing your son to an Aonian prince.” King Junno tells him while King Toma is calming himself.

            “I didn’t have a choice Junno Aone threatened…” he tries to defend himself but King Toma merely shrugs his shoulder.

            “Scared of Aone? Really Ohno you knew you could have asked us for assistance! What happened to brotherhood? I can easily shut Aone’s mouth and so can you! Damn IT!” King Toma bursts out.

            “You know the law Onho your son must pay or Celaria will wage on us particularly on your regnum.” King Junno states as he rose from his seat in deep concentration.

            “They wanted this to happen! You should have known that!” King Toma says angrily while shaking his fist at Ohno.

            “You can’t expect me to execute my own son?!!!” He bursts out in disbelief.

            “The judgment is not ours to make but Valtareau’s.” King Junno states.

            “He is MY SON! YOU cannot…” He yells in panic.

            “HE HAS BROKEN THE COVENANT! SOMEONE HAS TO PAY OHNO!” King Junno yells in anger.

            “Choose Ohno your son’s death or the obliteration of your entire REGNUM NOT TO MENTION THE DAMAGE HEIRUS AND ONARIS WILL FACE!” King Junno adds.

            “Of all the war Ohno it has to be the one where Spruxia is involved.” King Toma says tearfully.

            He is left with no choice but choose between his son and his regnum. Fulfill the role of a father or that of a king.

Erable, Valtareau

            High Queen Boa is furious at the act of treachery committed by the Triad. She is fully intent on making them pay. Just as her thoughts drifted on the punishment that the Triad will face Queen Taehee contacted her.

            “If you are here to defend the Triad dont.” She coldly tells Queen Tae
