3 weeks have passed since Sunny’s parents died. They didn’t see her cry, she was just silent. She talked, but not as lively as before, like part of her died with her parents. People around her started to worry.

Sunny’s POV

I woke up with the sound of my phone ringing but I’m not in the mood to talk so I ignored it. Few seconds it stopped. I tried to sleep but every time I close my eyes, I see Omma and Appa. Yeah, it’s been 3 weeks since they left me. It hurts but I don’t want people to pity me. My phone started ringing again so I decided to look on the screen, it was my uncle, i answered it.

“Yoboseyo? Uncle?” I answered

“Oh! Sunny~ah, did I disturb you? How are you?”

It took me seconds to answer.. “Im fine” I lied... “What is it uncle? Why did you call?”

 “Good” I hear him signed “do you have time? Can you come here in my office? I want to talk to you about something.” He asked

“Hmm okay uncle, I’ll be there” I answered and ended the call.

I don’t know why uncle wanted to talk to me, but it seem like it’s important so I stood up from my bed and started to prepare.

SooMan’s POV

The call ended, I know she’s still depressed. I can hear it in her lifeless voice. My phone sudden beeped so I check who is calling me and saw my best friends name.

 “Yoboseo? Jungsu?” I answered

We talked for about 15 minutes then he told me that his son accepted my offer and will visit me later. I smiled and ended the call.

“Good timing, I think I have an idea. Maybe he could help” I said to myself and began working.

An hour passed and my intercom beeped

“President, Ms. Lee Soonkyu is here outside” said my secretary

I smiled and answered her, “Let her in, Thank you.”

The door opened and Sunny walked towards me. She’s a little pale and I can see that she lacks of sleep.

She hugged and give me a kiss on the cheek, “please take a seat Sunny” I said smiling at her

She smiled and took a seat in the sofa.

I sat beside her “Sunny, it’s been 3 weeks already, Mrs. Park called me, and she’s worried about you. Even if you don’t show it to us, every night she would hear you crying in your room, you even eat little and frequently you skip your meals” I signed “I know it’s hard for you to lose both of your parents and I’m worried about you” I looked at her.

She looked at me, “Uncle, I don’t know.” Tears started to roll in her cheeks.

“I don’t want people to pity me so I don’t cry in front of them but I don’t know that Mrs. Park heard me.” She confessed while sobbing.

I hugged her, “shhh.. Cry all you want, aigoo, this kid, you don’t need to act strong in front of us, we know you since you we’re born, let it all out, I’m here, we’re here.” I patted her back.

She cried and cried, few minutes passed and she stopped, I wiped her tears with the tissue and tap her nose. “Feeling ok?” I asked

She nods and finally smiled, “Thank you uncle.”

“So, I thought about something, I think this will help you, live with me for a while.” I told her

She looked at me, thinking... silence passed... “uncle.” She and looked at me, “okay, I’ll stay with you but promise me you won’t leave me alone okay?” she said

I smiled, “I promise child, I promise.” I hugged her.

“She’s with me now brother, don’t worry, I’ll take care of her” I whispered.

My intercom beeped, “President, Mr. Lee Sungmin is here.”

I stood up and walked to my table.

 “Let him in. By the way, do I have any appointment this morning?”

“You have no appointment till 2pm sir.” She replied

“Okay, thank you”

The door opened and revealed Sungmin.

Sunny’s POV

After that heart to heart talk to uncle I felt better. I plugged my earphones and put on my Rayban and wait for him to finish talking with his secretary. Suddenly I heard a knock on uncle’s door and a boy came in.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Sungmin imnida” he said bowing in front of us, I looked at him and I was shocked because he’s the boy in the elevator.

“Oh Sungmin! Good to see you boy” greeted him

In my peripheral vision, I saw him seat in front of me and also my uncle beside me.

Sungmin’s POV

I entered uncle’s office and I saw a girl sitting in the sofa, I smiled and introduced myself but she only nod in response and didn’t even greeted me back, “aish, this girl have no manners! But I think I saw her somewhere” I told my self

“Oh Sungmin-ssi! Good to see you boy” uncle said and motioned me to sit

I sat in front of the girl, I can see that she’s pretty even with shades on, she has those pink pouty lips, did she just cry? I thought seeing her red pointy nose but then realization sinks in, she’s that girl in the elevator! “Aish, why is she here and what happen?” I mumbled to myself.

No one’s POV

The three of them sat in the sofa

Sunny removed her earphones and looked at her uncle

“Uncle?” she said

“Ah neh! Mianhae Sunny this is Sungmin, Sungmin this is Sunny my niece” said SM

Sungmin faced Sunny and greeted her “Annyeonghaseyo Sunny-sshi” and smiled

Sunny looked in front to see Sungmin looking at her.

“annyeonghaseyo Sungmin-sshi” she answered back.

Her heart pounded in her chest, seeing this guy in front of her closely, she have to admit, she was pissed because of what happen to them in the elevator but she have to admit he’s cute, he has beautiful eyes. But she shrugged it off because even she herself cannot explain what’s she’s feeling. She didn’t notice that her uncle SM saw it and he coughed.

“Ahmm, im sorry, so, I called both of you because I wanted to discuss something”

“Sunny, we’ve talked about this before and we already had an agreement, you’ll be staying in my house for the mean time arraso?”

“neh uncle” answered Sunny and took a slight look at Sungmin “but what do Sungmin-sshi here got to do with it?” she continued looking at his uncle

He uncle smiled, “he’s here because he will also stay in my house, he’ll be working for me” he said coolly.

Sunny’s eyes widened upon hearing her uncle’s words and looked at Sungmin

“He will also stay at uncle’s house while im there? Ottoke?” she said to herself.
