After few minutes Sungmin went back to Sunny’s room with a tray of food.

As soon as the door opened, Sunny became hungrier. “What’s that?”

“Mrs. Park cooked this for lunch, she said you love to eat this, tada! Japanese Ramen”

Sunny smiled and remove the covers and immediately took a spoon full.

“Hmmmm” she keeps on repeating while eating. She was like a little kid given her favourite food.

Lost in her own world, she didn’t notice Sungmin looking at her with a smile plastered on his face.

“Hey, slow down, there still more in the kitchen.”

Sunny didn’t respond

“Hmmm... what’s the matter? Asked Sungmin feeling a little bit worried

Sunny lift her right hand and showed a thumbs up while patting her chest but the case went worst and she slowly can’t breathe.

Sungmin saw that and went besides her, letting her drink slowly while patting her back.

Few moments later, her breathing went back to normal.

“Mianhae, I keep on doing foolish things,” said Sunny while looking at her hands

“Yeah, you always do those things when you’re with me.” Joked Sungmin

“Yah! I’m not, it’s just coincidence! Or maybe you’re a bad luck!”

“Hah! Do bad lucks save those people who have bad luck?”

“Hmmmm I don’t know...”

They looked at each other and burst into laughter.

“You’re funny!”  said Sungmin between laughing

“No I’m not, you just laugh easily.” Sunny answered back

“Aigoo, why are always opposing me? Sometimes I think you wanted to be a lawyer”

“Is that so? But sorry I don’t want to be one.” Said Sunny after calming herself

“So, what happen to the event?”

‘Errr, as I said a while ago, I asked one of my friends to back us up. Before you woke up he called and said it ended well and he did enjoy it. He even thank me because he met someone, and I think he has something for her, I can say it by the way he talked.” Told sungmin

“hah! He should treat us then! Ice cream is fine!” said sunny joked.

Sungmin laughed...

Silence......

Awkward..

“Hey....”

“What...”

Both of them stopped talking.

Sungmin recovered first and asked her to continue.

“hmmm, okay, so, hey!” said Sunny

Sungmin burst into a hearty laugh, amazed on Sunny because she definitely started from where she stopped. “Oh, I’m sorry, go on.”

Still sitting near each other, sunny faced him “aishhhh! I just wanted to ask you something.”

“Oh! Okay, what is it.”

“You definitely know the reason why I’m staying here at uncle’s house.” She asked while looking at Sungmin, he just nodded and motioned her to continue.

“Uncle said you’ll be working for him, but he also said that you’ll be transferring in my school, so definitely you’re still studying? Hmmm I’m quite curious, what’s the real reason?” Sunny bombarded him with questions

“Oh, haha sorry about that, firstly, yes, I’ll be working for uncle but not literally, I’ll work under him as a guitarist or pianist for his trainees. Secondly, it’s a yes, I’m still studying, and I’m a senior like you, majoring in theatre. And lastly, the real reason why I’m staying here to be able to help my parents for our bills it’s because 3 weeks ago, our house was burned and my brother met an accident. He’s okay now, but still, he needs to attend therapy because the lower part of his body became weak after falling.”

All the way while sungmin was talking, Sunny fully concentrated on everything he said. “He’s a good son and he really loves his brother”.

I also had a younger sister, and was on her 3^rd year, majoring in dancing. I tell you, she’s good, the people called her “dancing queen” in our place because she won different competitions there. He proudly added. Seriously, it’s hard for me to be far, but I have to do it for them.

“Wow, I hope I had a brother like you too, I think you’ll spoil me.”

“Haha you wish. We all work, Kyu works part time as a singer while Hyonie do dance lesson.” Sungmin proudly said

Sunny was a bit shocked. “You all work? Why? Don’t your parents provide you everything?”

“Err... they provide our daily needs but we’re not rich as you, we work to finish school and help them.”

Sunny was taken aback. Since she was born, there were people around to do things for her. She felt a bit of jealousy thinking that her life was boring in that way. Sungmin’s family was what she likes. They do things for each other. She missed her parents.

Sungmin’s thought was interrupted when he saw a tear fell from Sunny’s eyes. He moves closer to her to look, there she was, silently crying.

“Sunny~sshi? What happen? Are you hurt? Did I offend you?” asked Sungmin anxiously.

 “A...aniyo... i just... missed my parents.” Sunny manage to answer between sobs.

Not thinking, Sungmin hugged her and patted her shoulders.

They stayed for a while in that position.

Finally, he loosens his hug and faced Sunny. “Are you okay now?” he asked

Sunny nodded, “Sorry about that, I ruined your shirt” pointing on Sungmin’s wet shirt.

“Don’t worry, its okay if it makes you okay.” he smiled

Sunny’s felt her blood rushing to her cheeks so she straightened up to cover her face. She tried to stand up and Sungmin helped her.

“Slow down, you sure can stand up?” he asked

“Yeah, I just need to go to the bathroom.” And sunny went to the bathroom
