“Is that’s all? More please… I want to know what happened to you guys in detailed. haha!”

“Detailed your face, just get your over here and come with me to the mall.”

“Eeeeeeh, okay, but in one condition... treat me lunch & also dinner okay!”

“Sigh~ okay, Ms. Free loader. Just hurry okay, bring your car... that’s what we're going to use.”

“Yes ma’am, copy that, might as well hire me as your personal driver, okay gurl, see yah, haha!”

Shopping now with Yuri was like the only time that we could hang out, as in. She was often too busy with work while I basically had my schedule full these days, not to forget that she recently acquired a pet called boyfriend, haha!

“Hey! You seemed so quiet? What’s wrong?”

We were now having our snack in a patisserie. Our favorite.

“Huh? Nothing, I just remembered something…”

“Oh okay, by the way, Hyo, about that thing with Junho, how was it?”

She asked while having a spoonful of her caramel soufflé.

“Huh? What about that thing?” I stressed.

“It's really nothing, but don’t you think it’s a bit strange that you two bumped into each other? I mean, who would have thought you’re actually neighbors, right?”

“It was just purely coincidental, Yul. No biggie.”

“Uhm, I don’t think so, maybe it is a God give time for you to open that frozen heart of yours and invite Mr. Cupid to enter your life again!”

I stared at her… but really, it was more of glaring… though I could not help but laugh.

“Pabo! Don’t include God here okay!”

And there goes another spoonful; I wonder sometimes, if Yuri was really a girl, to me, she was like a mini-food processor, haha!

“That smile, I know, I know, for sure, you’re thinking about my body again right?!”

“Hahaha, know what Yul, you should not have work in the advertising company, you should be a mind reader instead, you can actually read minds, hahaha!”

“Whatever, and yes, I could perfectly read yours, Ms. Kim. So, where were we? Yeah right, about destiny.”

“So you're trying to say that... God gave me that moment for me to open my heart again and to give love another chance?”

I quipped while shaking my head.

“Right, I mean, it could be part of your destiny, that’s all I’m trying to say, Hyo.”

“I think otherwise. It so happened that I needed a plumber and he was there at the right place and at the right time. Then it led to a simple brunch and coffee one day. That’s all Yuri.”

“Yah! don’t act as if you don’t like it okay! Coz’ I heard that you didn’t even get mad when he called. hahaha!”

“What? Ah well…”

“See? Give me some of those. haha!”

And just like that, a piece of my favourite macaroon invaded Yuri’s mouth. I simply grunted.

Destiny… Fate… What was it really?

Do we really have our destined partners in life?

How about me? What happened to me and… years ago… was that my destiny in love?

So many stuff and I had to fit them all in my luggage. The vacation was supposed to be four days but with what Yuri’s request and I ended up with a vacation that could really last for a week.

I was not complaining though. I had a few new shorts… a couple of nice tank tops… sets and sets of bikinis and two-piece swimsuits… maxi dresses too. I would bring a pair or two of my fave sandals and flip flops…. errr…no, I think I would have to bring one more.

Gosh, Hyo… if Yuri was a mini- food processor, you’re a walking closet, really. And while I was still deciding on which items to mix and match to lighten my load,

Who would this be? I thought, I checked my phone and a familiar name cropped up.

“Oh, hi! Why did called? Ah, yes? Why? Hmmm… No. WHAT?! No, no, no but.. sure? Who? uhm eh, Junho don’t coz—“

Did he just hang up on me?

If only I had the time, I would go all the way to Incheon to kill Yuri.

Come on, you little prick, answer the dang phone!!!

Okay, okay, take a deep breath Hyo…. don’t panic, and why am I even panicking?
