“I love you, ________-ah,” Sam whispers, tears falling from his eyes. “I….I saw the way you looked at Yun, and, and I didn’t think there was even a chance for me, so I pushed. I pushed until I thought you were finally gone. But, you kept coming back! It was just…breaking my heart.” Sam sits up, taking you with him.

“Why didn’t you just tell me?” You whisper, your heart starting back up again. “Because….I like you too Sam.”

“Why didn’t you tell me? When I pushed?”

“Because I thought maybe you didn’t want to be with me. The thought broke my heart, but that’s what I thought.” A smile grows on your face. “But that’s not the case, is it.”

Sam shakes his head. “No, it’s not. It was never that way.”

Without warning, you throw yourself into Sam’s arms. “Thank you. For telling me.”

Then, forgetting about Yun and Teo, Sam leans in and kisses you. It feels like he never wants to let you go again, like you should just join together and never leave each other’s arms ever again. It’s a wonderful feeling that you never want to forget. Not for the rest of your life.
