Sam- So Cold
Lunafly ScenariosSam stands in the middle of the bedroom, not quite sure what to do with himself. The place is far too quiet with your absence and no longer feels like home. He looks at the bed where the two of you used to curl up in. Used to, the thought makes his eyes start to sting as more tears threaten to fall despite the promise that he wouldn’t cry anymore. The tears start to fall and all he wants to do is scream, but the lump in his throat won’t allow him to do it. It didn’t matter anyway.
You weren’t here to hear him or see how much pain you caused by leaving. What Sam wants more than anything is to ask you one question; why? He was unable to figure it out no matter how hard he tried he wasn’t able to think why you would have packed up your things while he was away. Was it something he had or hadn’t said? Did he do something? Maybe he could have called more when he was away. He always did his best to call or text. He always put his best into the relationship, but it hadn’t been enough.
Why?
Sam finds himself on his knees as he pulls out his phone to try and call you again, but it goes ignored.
Why?
Were you already with someone? Had you moved on that fast? Did his love mean nothing to you? He wants to believe that you couldn’t do that, but he believed you’d be with him forever and clearly he’d believed wrong. He came home and found it empty and no longer home. The tears are falling harder as his heart seems to bleed with all the questions in his head.
Sam realizes he’s shaking, but whether it’s from the sobs or the cold feeling within him he doesn’t know. All he knows is that you’re gone and not likely to come back. He’s left alone to cry and just keep asking himself why. There’s a weight in and near his heart as he tries to calm himself, but the weight and grief are too much for him.
Why?
All his dreams for the two of you are gone now without a reason. His hands continue to shake as he reaches in his coat’s pocket. The place that was once quiet now seems to echo with his sobs. He had told you all the dreams he had for the two of you and just when he thought they could come true you had left him alone. Now all he had were the memories and the ring he’d planned to give you.
