[SeungRi's ward, Seoul XXX Hospital]

It has almost been a day since SeungRi was admitted to the hospital again. He was lucky that he wasn’t bleeding too much again like last time, the bleeding points in his liver are sealed now, and the suctioning worked pretty well. With the help of the medication injected via IV therapy, even though he’s still having a fever, his temperature went down a lot.

JiYong had finished packing last night and left everything else to SoonHo and TaeHee. Staying with SeungRi is the most important thing for him now, and he only has today to do it so he doesn’t want to waste any time.

SeungRi has been “better”, but the fever weakened him a lot. There’s his usual symptom of his sensitive stomach not being able to take in what he consumes and ends up throwing up most of them, and on top of that, he doesn’t have enough strength to even walk to the bathroom on his own, he gets tired out just by standing on his own for more than two minutes.

His daily schedule from now on changes to being consist of only simple stuff. It starts with strawberry flavored nutrition shake in the morning as part of his breakfast; well the other part is the parenteral nutrition through an IV line. After that, he sits in bed surfing the internet while the doctors and nurses come check on him from time to time, when someone is there to visit him, he stops his "leisure" and talks with them. Somewhere during the day, he drinks a few more nutrition shakes or porridge as lunch and dinner, also taking a lot of naps.

JiYong walks in the ward when SeungRi is sitting up in bed, boringly playing their Tower of Saviors game. Hanna has left earlier in the morning to catch some sleep before going to AND.here, and Mrs. Lee agree to leave SeungRi in JiYong's care for the day, so it will just be one-on-one daddy and baby today.

SeungRi looks up from his iPad and stretches his arms for a hug; he becomes really clingy when he gets sick. “Oppa~!”

“You’re up so early, aegy-yah, why don’t you sleep longer?” JiYong asks while putting down his bag and taking off his jacket.

“I don’t know, just kinda woke up. I can’t really sleep for too long at a time lately.” He finally gets his affectionate hug, tight but careful so he don't mess his tube up. “I’m sorry, hyung, I made you worry last night.” He mumbles into JiYong’s shoulder.

JiYong breaks the hug, “You knew I was there? I thought you couldn’t hear me.”

“I can hear voices, except they were all blurred together. But hyung, your touch and scent, how could I ever not recognize that?” He smiles. "Actually it was more like 'I remembered', because I only remember that it was you who brought me here last night after I woke up this morning and try to recall things that happened. But I didn’t expect to see you with a perm today."

JiYong ignores SeungRi’s tease on his new hair, sits down next to him on bed and feels his forehead, “Why are you so hot still?”

“It’s an infection, my doctor said it’s gonna take some time, and my temperature is pretty much under control already. Don’t worry anymore, hyung.” SeungRi replies and lays his head against JiYong’s chest.

Taking SeungRi in his arms, JiYong pecks SeungRi’s warm cheek, “If you don’t want me to worry, show me that you can take care of yourself. I chat with you the morning after you were discharged, and you already looked pale, but you spent the whole afternoon looking through schedule arrangements and your business stuff!”

"My doctors just said I shouldn't move around, so I didn't even go out or anything, how could I have known that being on the computer would cause this mess…"

"Your doctors told you 'absolute bed rest', it means you have to be in your bed and resting, not working on your computer."

"Okay, I get it now… I have this tube and I really can't go anywhere now! And eoma said she's just gonna stay home to take care of me before this happened, so I was just sending the documents over to TaeHyung-ie hyung and them so they can take care of AND.here and other stuffs when eoma and I couldn't." He first met GuWon as Kim TaeHyung in school, so even though he's teasing the poor guy calling him just "GuWon" in shows or radios, he still addresses him by his real name and "hyung" off set.

"I'll trust you this time." JiYong says while playing with SeungRi's hair, "But I'm serious here, you're injured and sick now, don't work, don't stress yourself. All you need to do now, and it's the only thing you should be doing now, is rest, get it baby?"

"Yes, Kwon Leader…"

"That's my good boy!" JiYong pecks SeungRi's cheek, making it very loud.

A nurse comes in when they are having fun; she hooks SeungRi up to another pack of medication, sticking the IV line into the back of his palm.

When the needle pokes through SeungRi's skin, JiYong can feel that he flinched. He tries to comfort the boys in his embrace, humming him incomplete ballad demos that he has been composing. SeungRi is actually getting tired already, but since JiYong is here, he didn’t want to go back to sleep; and now, with JiYong's gentle voice and the calming melody, SeungRi drifts off to sleep in JiYong's embrace.

HyunSuk came to visit SeungRi in the afternoon, but as soon as he opens the door to SeungRi's ward, he’s greeted with the scene of SeungRi sleeping on top of JiYong, in the same bed.

JiYong wasn't sleeping, he just has his eyes closed, and he opens them when he hears the door. “Shhh.” He puts a finger on his lips and shushes him; SeungRi doesn’t sleep very tightly these couple days, so he doesn’t want to wake him by moving or talking.

He continues SeungRi’s soft bangs for around fifteen minutes or so until the same nurse comes in to pull the needle out and dispose the empty pack. The sting of pain wakes SeungRi up, a little disoriented.

“Hyunie, wake up now, HyunSuk hyung is here.” JiYong pats SeungRi’s head, and then turns to HyunSuk, “Hyung, can you bring me a cup of water from over there?”

After drinking the water, SeungRi’s mind is clearer to think. “HyunSuk hyung~” He greets his boss.

“How’s your condition, SeungRi?” HyunSuk asks.

“I’m feeling much better, hyung, I can start the investigation as soon as my fever goes down completely.”

“I didn’t ask you how you feel,” HyunSuk says, “I’m asking about your condition, little SeungHyun. What did your doctors say?” and he’s calling him “little SeungHyun” too. Since his own son’s name is SeungHyun, too, he hasn’t been calling SeungRi or TOP by their real name for a long time.

SeungRi shifts his position in JiYong’s embrace before answering, “They say that I’ll have to stay here for at least one more week, may be two, and decide later if I need another surgery.”

“Okay, two weeks, so the Asian Games thing is for sure a no. I’ll tell someone to talk to the IAGOC to tell them that. You now, little SeungHyun, just listen to your doctors and cooperate with them on the treatments. The faster you recover and get yourself back on track, the earlier we can all stop worrying that much.”

SeungRi nods, “Yes, hyung, I’ll make sure to recover fully for the upcoming family concerts and dome tours.”

“Stop with the non-sense, Hyunie.” JiYong smacks SeungRi’s head lightly.

“JiYong’s right, you shouldn’t think about anything else until you’re well. Just settle down and focus on the treatments for now, little SeungHyun.” HyunSuk says too.

"Yes boss... Yes leader-nim..." SeungRi pouts.  (A/N: boss = 사장님/sa-jang-nim, leader-nim = 팀장님/team-jang-nim, i wuz imagining this part w/ my not really good korean so i had to clarify, hope u can see the image too!! XD)

JiYong leans in and kisses his ear, "Why are you like this huh, baby? You don't wanna get healthy? I should just ask your doctors to give you a medically induced coma so then you can behave."

"Save it for your private time JiYong, that's too cheesy." HyunSuk face-palmed himself. It's not like he opposes them to be together, but the cheesy stuffs like kissing and flirting is too much to do in front of him.

"This is love and affection, hyung, pretty much the same things you always do with EunJu noona and Eugene I bet." JiYong smirks, SeungRi giggles too remembering how "cheesy" the boss can get with his wife and daughter.

They talk for a little longer until SeungRi's mother comes with porridge. SeungRi has always hated hospital food, he claims that they are bland and inedible, so as a loving mother, Mrs. Lee cooks and brings good tasting healthy food for him every day, every meal.

Shortly after SeungRi started eating, HyunSuk got a call from his wife Lee EunJu and left to go home. Mrs. Lee knows SeungRi wants to sleep with JiYong beside him tonight, and since both of them, especially her son, don't want her to stay up at night in the hospital for him, she went home after talking with SeungRi's doctor about his latest condition.
