Jongin and Luhan were literally made for each other.
In love? Perhaps.
Though some would disagree with that.
It isn't everyday that a perfect match meets and falls in love; but the government intends for it to be that way. Only happiness, no arguments- perfect, as they would put it; but there is no way for them to insure that, if they let the pair decide who they are with, and why.
So the pair doesn't decide. The government chooses four parents, for two children; and then the Perfect Match Process begins.
The Perfect Match System is not perfect, but it certainly seems that way with Jongin and Luhan. Their 'memories' of loving each other seem real, and to them that is enough.
Wouldn't it be for you too? If you remember loving a person, you won't doubt the memories; and neither did they.
Though there were many that did, or hoped that things could be different. Kyungsoo was one of those people. Kyungsoo was to be half of the first perfect match, until something went terribly wrong, and he was left alone in the world. Growing up, Kyungsoo fell in love; but the love was, of course, flawed. His match was dead, so any love he felt would be fake.
Whose love is real?
Kyungsoo's? Even though it is, supposedly, flawed?
Jongin's and Luhan's? It is seemingly perfect.
But is love supposed to be perfect? Aren't mistakes supposed to be made?
Maybe.
