I heard a high-pitched squeal. I turned to see IU. She was covering , wide-eyed and pink faced. L.Joe was standing next to her and giving her a weird look. I smiled.

Silly..how cute.

I quickly helped Hyosung untangle her bag before my phone rang. It was a text. Two actually. One was from a private number.

"If you're coming to the dance, meet me in the courtyard at midnight." it read. I looked over my phone at IU.

Did she have feelings for me too? I grinned childishly. I scrolled down my messages and saw the other was from Sandara noona.

"Hey dog poop:) I was going to give her the invitation but..looks like someone else got to her first."

My smiled fell.

What? I re-read the message 10 times.

I sighed and shoved my phone in my pocket. I turned back to IU and saw she was talking to L.Joe happily...

I guess he's the one who got to her first. I shook my head. My chance. Gone. I stood, heavy-hearted. Great...what do I do now?
