I ripped a strip of my sweater and held it against her head wound.

 

"Minji!" I heard Sunggyu yell my name, and I felt someone slam into me and wrap their arms with around me. "Sunggyu?" I breathed and I felt him jerk. He gave a gasp of pain and he got off of me to turn around and throw a punch at Belle. With Sunggyu's back facing me now, I saw that there was a knife in his shoulder. I trembled. 

 

I lifted up my gun and shot out at Belle but I missed as she rolled out of the way. She threw a knife at me but I caught it. The blade slicing shallowly on my palm before I grabbed the hilt. I threw the blade to the ground and it stuck up in the dirt. Sunggyu was fighting Belle but, the knife in his shoulder clearly slowed him. Belle took advantage of that and aimed for his right shoulder. He moved his body to protect himself but Belle kicked him in the ribs and he staggered back. He was about to go engage her again but I stepped in front of him and I kicked at Belle. She blocked and took a step back. "I'm going to kill you." I growled.

 

She smirked. "I'd love to see you try." and she threw a punch at me. I grabbed her wrist and twisted, while pulling her towards me and throwing a kick at her mid-section. She twisted her body and I only got grazed her side. She kicked out at my knee and I slammed my fist down on her foot. She let out a curse of pain while my fist throbbed and I barely saw it coming. Her knee made contact with the side of my face and I went down, slightly dazed. When I was trying to get up, I felt a firm boot dig into my back. I gasped in pain. But suddenly the pressure was off and I looked up to see Sunggyu pointing a gun at Belle and her hands were up backing up slowly. I could see his wound still gushing blood. He hadn't pulled out the knife yet. 

 

He walked her over to the cliff and she looked behind her and suddenly smiled. "I think you shouldn't be worried about me. I stabbed Minji, in our tussle. You're girlfriend could bleeding out right now. "No!" I shouted getting to my feet as Sunggyu lost his concentration worrying about me. He turned slightly and Belle hit his hand with her palm and disarmed him. She pointed the gun at him now. My hand went for a knife in my boot but Belle already pulled the safety and I heard the resound of the gunshot in my ears. But Sunggyu didn't go down, he managed to throw a solid kick at her midsection and she fell back off the cliff. 

 

After Belle fell, I rushed towards him but his legs were giving out and he teetered over the edge. I don't know where I found the burst of speed, I knew I was already going as fast as my body could physically move but when Sunggyu started going over, I got there in time to grab his hand. Instinctually I had used my right hand. My wounded shoulder screamed at me in protest but I held on. "Sunggyu. Hold on. I got you." I said trying to reach for his other hand. But the wound on his back and his new gunshot wound was pulling his body into shock and his eyes were already drooping.

 

"Wake the up!" I half shouted and half growled. "You going to let that beat you?!" I shouted and his eyes opened to look at me. "Let go." he had the gall to say to me. "Yeah, over my dead body." I said, the roaring of my heartbeat in my ears. I was never going to let go.

 

"I love you, you know." he said his fingers tightening around mine. Blood from my shoulder ran down my arm making our hands bloody. His other hand was pressing against his abdomen wound. "I know." I said tears gathering in my eyes. Pan ni was out cold. My arm was going numb, and Sunggyu couldn't help me hoist him up. My brain knew that one of us would give out soon. My heart refused to believe there was any ending except from Sunggyu being safe.

 

"You asked me to let go." he said weakly, even giving me a small smile. "Don't you ing dare take me literally now. Or I swear, I'll kill you myself." I said trying to control my emotions but I was failing miserably. "You're are hurting your wound." he said weakly as more of my blood coated our hands. I was holding as tight as I possibly could but it was getting slippery. 

I put both my hands together grabbing his hand. "Come one Sunggyu, please. Help me a little." I said trying to pull him up.

 

I felt his grip on my fingers loosen slightly. "What are you doing?!" I said in alarm. "I'm a horrible leader." he said it so softly I barely heard him. Then his eyes met mine again. "Do you love me?" he asked seriously.

 

"Why. Why the would you ask that now?!" I screamed. "I want to know." he said his other hand coming up to cup mine. I paused for a second. "I love you." I said tears blurring my vision. Through the blurriness, I saw him smile. "I knew it." and I had mistaken his intention of his other hand. Instead of tightening his grip on my hands, he pried my left hand off and he relaxed his fingers completely. And I felt it. I felt the moment, his fingers finished slipping out of mine and everything in my world went silent.
