I put my hand against his chest to push him away but he grabbed my wrist and continued to kiss me.

He backed me up against the wall, and I found myself kissing him back. The hand I tried pushing him away with curled over a bunch of his shirt, pulling him closer. I don’t know how long we stayed like that but I could feel the warmth of his hands splayed across my back and my own fingers playing with his hair.

When we finally broke away, he didn’t let go. “Why the do you do that?!” I asked breathless knowing I was blushing. “Because if you didn’t feel anything for me, you probably would have brought your knee up and ended it.” he said equally as breathless.

“Sunggyu you have to understand. This.” I pointed to the both of us in turn. “Can never happen. Crush whatever you feel, right now. You know as well as I do that emotions get in the way.” And I pushed him away. He sighed.

“Having no answer means you know I’m right.” I said becoming more confident. “And if any of you kiss me again, I will knee you all where it hurts, if that's what it takes to get you guys to stop.” I said turning away from him.

“Minji…” he said my name and I put my hand up. “Since we’re going to be stuck here until Ethan reigns both Melina and Tae’s temper in, let’s talk about the woman judge we have to kill before the end of the week.” I pulled out the side table from the wall and pulled up a swivel chair for him.

“Cute room.” He observed finally looking around. “I like blue.” I said matter of factly and started clicking on my laptop. “Did Celestia already say where she was going to be?” I asked him all business.

“Hotel and airport. She knows she’s in danger here so she’s headed to Thailand. She has a whole line of bodyguards now. It will take a lot of work to get her without taking risks.” He said. I pulled up the blueprint of the hotel he named.

“Recklessness sometimes pays off.” I said. “If Myungsoo finds a good position to snipe from, we can draw her out. We also need some of the guys to be in a car to be ready to chase after her if she were to actually get to her car. Let’s hope we can get her before then.” I said.

“You’re the leader Sungggyu, you call the shots. You say who goes where. I'll listen.” I said leaning back a little. He looked at the screen and then looked at me. “I’ll decide who goes where when we get back.” He said reminding me, I didn’t actually have a lot of my “freedom” left.

“Do you mind staying in here?” I asked. He chuckled. “Being surrounded by all this blue? I think I could take a nap.” He smiled and I shook my head and couldn’t help but smile. “Be a little more serious.” I said and got up to go outside.

I went outside and Melina was in the kitchen cooking. “You’re making food?” I asked. She looked up. “Well you probably starve yourself when you’re away so I want to make you something good to eat.” She said.

I looked at Ethan. “You really are making an honest woman out of her.” I laughed. Then a cup came flying towards us and Ethan caught it before it hit his face. “She’s still dangerous as hell.” He smiled. I grabbed the front of his shirt. “You protect her with your life, Ethan, or no matter where I am, or what I’m doing, I’ll make sure you regret it.” I said coldly. I liked Ethan, but I needed to make sure he was going to be good for my godmother.

“Geez, sometimes I forget how scary you can get too.” He said. “Arraseo. She’s my world now.”

“Blah, Blah, Blah.” Melina said loudly trying to drown us out. “I’m almost thirty six! I don’t need you two to babysit me.” She said flipping the scallion pancake.

“Where’s Taemin?” I asked.

“I told him to go train to burn off some of that steam.” Ethan said. “That boy cares deeply about you.”

“Too deeply. Tae is being stupid.” I said groaning in annoyance. “I will never forget my job.” I said and went to find Taemin.
