These are some descriptions of the main characters and I have taken the liberties to change their age too.

Characters:

Choi Minho – 30 years old, a surgeon

A local of Jeju Island but decided to find himself in Seoul working as a surgeon. Quickly recognized as a somewhat a genius due to his focused and intense nature. Overtly anti-social, he shuns big crowds and avoids personal interaction unless it is necessary. He is always cordial and courteous but never could be described as friendly. He is also firm and decisive over actions and also principles. He dislikes anything whimsical and spontaneous. Fortunately, he was blessed with the best physical attributes; tall, handsome face and a great built. All these makes up whatever he lacks in his personality as women and men find him an enigma or a puzzle that needs to be solved and then owned. None has succeeded so far.

Choi Sulli – 25 years old, a dance instructor

A graceful and beautiful dance instructor that owns a dance studio in Jeju, she is like a ray of sunshine everywhere she goes. She comforts people and always wears a smile. She used to be a professional dancer but gave up that dream in order to take care of her ailing mother. Now that her mother has passed away peacefully, she is reliving her dancing dream by teaching others the beauty of dance. Everybody likes her and cannot resist her effortless charms. Understandably, many men fell for her but she never reciprocates any of their advances. She knows how fragile her love could be and she is extremely careful not to be heartbroken again.

Lee Taemin – 26 years old, a professional dancer

A native Seoul, but has made Jeju as his headquarter in an effort to stay close to his muse, Choi Sulli. An artist, he is predictably very moody and wears his heart on his sleeve. Never one to shy away, he is always around Sulli though she made clear that she likes him as a good friend and fellow dancer only. For Taemin, his gaze is only and only for her and his heart aches for her to be his.

FTIsland Choi  Jonghun – 33 a hotel owner

An attractive businessman and hotelier, he is the cousin of Sulli and unknowingly to her, has her in his heart. A ruthless person when it comes to business and encompassing wealth but Sulli is his Achilles heel. He is the one person that Sulli looks up to since Jonghun oppa has always been with her through thick and thin. He is only bidding his time in order to make her his.

Krystal – 25 years old, a personal assistant

An outgoing person and always very helpful. She is the little sister of Minho and the personal assistant for Taemin. She is secretly in love with her boss but maintains a very friendly but professional relationship with him. Due to the nature of her work, she did not pay much attention to her looks nor her style. She wears comfortable clothes and looks homey most of the time.
