I stood in front of the bathroom mirror finishing the final touches of my make-up. I wanted to look as perfect as possible for Gongchan. He's so handsome and I wanted him to think I looked cute. I was applying lipgloss when I heard a knock at the door.

 

"Cathy, Gongchan is waiting. Hurry." My sister said from the other side of the door.

 

"Okay." I replied, quickly grabbing my small purse and opening the door.

 

My sister looked at me from top to bottom and commented. "You look very nice." She paused and with a sincere grin added. "Have fun."

 

"Thank you. I'm so excited and nervous." I frowned.

 

"Don't worry." She said trying to comfort me. "Don't keep him waiting, go."

 

I nodded and walked towards the living room, there sat Gongchan. My stomach fluttered. I watched as he stood up and turn to look at me.

 

"You look very pretty." He complimented. 

 

My knees felt weak, he has that effect on me. I blushed and with a smiled replied. "You look very handsome."

 

Gongchan offered his arm and I entangled my own arm around his. We walked out to the elevator, I was so excited.

 

"I was thinking." Gongchan began, turning to look at me while grabbing both my hands. "We can have dinner, then we can go have a walk at the park. What do you think?" 

 

"Sounds great." I couldn't take my eyes off him.

 

"You're making me nervous." He blushed. I'm probably staring too much.

 

I looked away,  also blushing. "Sorry." I mumbled.

 

As soon as the elevator opened, he grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him. We walked along the slightly busy streets, it was kind of cool tonight.

 

We arrived in front of a Japanese restaurant, it was small, but it looked nice from the outside. Once we were seated, I scanned the menu. I'm still not used to wons but it seemed pretty pricey. I tried picking the cheapest thing.

 

"So, are you still looking for schools here in Korea to transfer?" Gongchan asked, breaking the silence.

 

"I am." I replied after taking a sip of my water. "I've found a few, but I'm still thinking about it."

 

"You'll let me know if you decide to transfer here, right?" 

 

I looked at Gongchan then quickly down at the table. "Of course, you'll be the first person to know."

 

Gongchan smiled, quickly biting his bottom lip.

 

"Thanks for taking me out." I added, as I fidgeted with my hands under the table to control my nerves.

 

"Thank you for saying yes." His eyes were intense.

 

I nervously looked anywhere but him. 

 

Thankfully, the food arrived and I had time to breath. 

 

"This is good." Gongchan commented after swallowing his first bite. "Here, taste it."

 

He extended his chopsticks at me and did as I was told. It was good.

 

"It is good." I replied, covering my mouth with my hand as I spoke. I took some of my food in my chopsticks and extended out to him. He smiled and took the food into his mouth.

 

We had a very good time. We talked and got to know each other a bit more. 

 

"I really like your music." I commented. "It's very upbeat and it has good rhythm."

 

"I'm glad you like it." Gongchan smiled and I melted at his cuteness.

 

"I wish you would sing more parts, though. You have such a soothing voice." I added.

 

Gongchan slightly blushed. "Thank you, but I'm still improving, I'm sure eventually I'll get more parts."

 

We just starred at each other until the waitress brought us the check. I tried to help out, but Gongchan resisted. 

 

"Do you want some dessert? The guys and me go to this cool place where you pick the yogurt flavor and toppings and you pay by the grams."  Gongchan said as he got up from the floor.

 

"Oh, like frozen yogurt." I brightened. I really like frozen yogurt. By the gram, it's weird being in a place that uses the metric system. "Yeah, let's go."

 

With a chuckled, Gongchan intertwined his fingers in mines and leading me out the restaurant towards the street. For being summer it was a bit cold. I shivered involuntarily, Gongchan felt the shiver through my hand and like a gentleman proceeded to giving me his blazer. Damn he's skinny. It smelled like him, wonderful.

 

When we arrived at the frozen yogurt place I was so excited. They had red velvet, my favorite. I tried to persuade Gongchan to let me pay but, it didn't work.

 

"I'm the one who asked you out." He insisted, as he quickly paid the cashier. I noticed Gongchan never looked her in the eye. I'm just glad she didn't recognized him.

 

"Thank you." I couldn't help but to grin at myself.

 

Gongchan smiled and wrapped one arm around my shoulder, squeezing me towards his side. When we arrived at the park I ran towards the swings as Gongchan followed after me, both of us laughing. We sat there as we ate our frozen yogurt.

 

We talked and laughed about anything and everything. Suddenly, things went quiet.

 

"Will you visit me when I leave?" I asked shyly. 

 

"I would really like to visit you, hopefully, I'll get the chance. Our schedule is so hectic sometimes." He replied with a frown.

 

"I'll take you to Disney, Universal Studios, Island of Adventures, and Busch Gardens." I said cheerfully, trying not to be disappointed.

 

"Believe me, if it was up to me I would go as soon as you leave. But, I have to work." Gongchan said as he grabbed my swing pulled it towards him and released it, making me swing from side to side. He then added. "Let's not think about that though. You still have a lot of time left here."

 

"You're right." I slightly grinned. I do have time left. I'll think about those things when the time is near.

 

"This is so good, here taste some." Gongchan said extending his spoon in front of my mouth.

 

"No, thank you." I pressed my lips tightly together.

 

"Come on, taste it please. Do it for your oppa." He pouted, the frozen yogurt beginning to melt in the spoon.

 

I shook my head. "Ugh, Gongchan don't say that word. I don't understand, why would I call you big brother?"

 

"You're just not used to using oppa in a relationship." He chuckled. "Now, open your mouth and taste my frozen yogurt. If not, I'll kiss you until you open it."

 

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, a slight shiver ran down my spin.

 

Gongchan took that opportunity to shove his spoon into my mouth. I swallowed as I felt the sweetness in my tongue.

 

"That made you open your mouth." He teased. "Don't worry," he began saying as his face for closer, just inches away from mines. "I'm not giving you my first kiss, not until I know you'll be good to me."

 

I gulped, my breathing caught in my throat. He was so close, I could feel my body warning up, and my knees were weak. I tried to composed myself as quickly as possible.

 

"That's fine with me. I don't want my first kiss to be with doubt." I retorted.

 

"First kiss, huh?" Gongchan smirked.

 

"Yes. I've only had pecks, never a real kiss." I said as I laid back on the swing grabbing the chains to keep steady, and watching the stars. 

 

I could feel Gongchan staring at me. Suddenly, I hear a clinging noise, I looked to my side to see him mimicking what I was going.

 

"I've never even had a peck." He admitted as he gazed to the stars.

 

Simultaneously, we both sat back straight.

 

"Let's make a deal." I heard him say and I turned my attention towards him. "If you say, 'Oppa, you're the best' I'll show you this really amazing place right now."

 

"Never." I glared at him.

 

"The place is really pretty. Please Cathy, be cute too me. Do it for your oppa." As he plead, I couldn't help but to want to please him.

 

Oh god, here goes my dignity. I must like him a lot. With the girliest voice I could and with some hand and facial expressions I said. "Oppa, you're the best."

 

Gongchan stood up from his swing and hugged me, almost knocking me to the floor. "Aigoo, that was so cute."

 

"Ahh, Gongchan you're going to make me fall." I grabbed onto him for steadiness.

 

We were both laughing, until I looked up and found his face once again inches away from mines. I looked into his eyes and felt lightheaded. He quickly got off me, and help me off the swing. We were both blushing.

 

"How about we go see that place I told you about." He suggested extending his hand towards me. I grabbed it and nodded.

 

"We're here." He announced as we approached a lake.

 

"Wow, this is amazing." I said in awe.

 

"I knew you would like it." He smiled at me, then turned towards the river. "Huh, isn't that Sandeul and Jessy?" 

 

I looked towards a bench and could see two people, really close together, and looking towards the lake. Oh , it is them.

 

"It is them." Gongchan assumed after seeing the look on my face. "I wonder what they are doing here."

 

"I don't know." I said through clench teeth. I can't believed she didn't tell me. Gongchan then interrupted my train of thought.

 

"Cathy, don't say anything, promise me you won't." Gongchan insisted.

 

"Okay, I promise." I said, curious at what he had to say.

 

"Jessy, admitted to me that Jinyoung hyung and her kissed. I wonder if Sandeul know." He said as he stared at the two of them.

 

I grabbed Gongchan's arm and pulled him away before they noticed we were watching them. 

 

"Gongchan, I don't want to have secrets between us." I began. "I know this is not my secret to tell but, I trust you."

 

Gongchan nodded, I could tell he was eager to know what I was talking about. "I promise not to say anything."

 

I sighed. "Jessy and Jinyoung didn't just kiss... they had . That night we all went to the movies Jessy got some bad news and was really upset... she called Jinyoung and they both got drunk, one thing lead you another and you know."

 

"Wow." Gongchan looked taken aback. "I don't even know what to think. I can't imaging hyung in that way." He fake shivered.

 

"That's not all." I paused. "She's crushing on Sandeul. He can't know what happened, she'll die."

 

"I won't say anything." Gongchan assured me. "I just hope things don't turn on her. She's my noona and I wish her the best. Sandeul is a sweet guy."

 

"Enough about them." I said trying to change the subject. "This is our night."

 

Gongchan looked at me, smiled, and hugged me, squeezing me. 

 

"Gongchan, I can't breath.'' I mumbled with barely any breath left.

 

He laughed and kissed my cheek. "Come, I'll take you back to the room."

 

I grabbed his hand, and smiled to myself. I can't believe this is happening. Gongchan is such an amazing guy. At that moment I felt like the luckiest girl alive.
