Childhood Friend
The Only Light I See
It's weekend and Yuri wanted to spend her day with her dearest girlfriend. Because for these past few days, they rarely spent time together because of work and also because Tiffany spent her time more with her childhood friend, Kris.
"Tiff, baby.."
"hmm?"
"let's go somewhere.." Yuri hugged her girlfriend from behind
"sorry i can't, honey. I have apointment with Kris.."
"that guy again, you hang out with him frequently for these past few days.." Yuri said jealously
"he's my childhood friend, we'd never see each other in years.." Tiffany turned around to face the tanned girl
"you've told me that.." Yuri said, avoiding her lover's gaze
"please understand, he stays here not permanently.." Tiffany cupped the other girl's face
"i understand.." Yuri sighed
"i know you do, thank you so much, honey.." Tiffany smiled, pecking her girlfriend's lips
"yeah.."
Poor Yuri. She decided to take a walk with Brownie. She was curious and wanted to stalk her girlfriend with the guy called Kris, but she just couldn't because she trusted her girlfriend. However, Yuri still felt uneasy about the two.
"Brownie, it's getting late. What should we do now?" Yuri said to her puppy, sitting on a bench
"go back home?" Yuri asked when she heard Brownie barked in response
"but i don't want it yet.." Yuri pouted, and Brownie barked again
"okay okay, we're going home now.." with that, Yuri stood up and headed home
"what's on your mind?" Yoona sat on the bed, next to her girlfriend
"nothing.." Jessica shook her head
"that's a lie, i know it.." Yoona commented and Jessica sighed
"just tell me what is it? What's bothering you?" Yoona looked deeply into her lover's eyes
"i'm thinking about our marriage.." Jessica said, bitting her bottom lip
"and why is about the marriage?"
"i just, i can't believe we'll actually marry each other in few days ahead.."
Yoona squeezed Jessica's hand gently, "me too, baby. I'm happy to think about that, and i can die from happiness if i keep thinking about it.."
"cheesy!" Jessica laughed
"but you love this cheesy girl, right?"
"yeah, i love that girl.." Jessica smiled and Yoona smiled as well
"i love you so so so much, Jung Sooyeon.." Yoona kissed her girlfriend's forehead
"don't call me that.." Jessica pouted
"why? I love that name.."
Jessica sighed, "alright, whatever you want.."
Yoona laughed, "you're so cute, Sooyeon.."
Tiffany entered her house, and found her girlfriend stood with her arms crossed. Tiffany gulped, she knew her girlfriend would be mad at her. So she just smiled nervously at the latter.
"you know what time is it?" Yuri asked irritatedly
"uhm.."
"it's past midnight! Where have you been? Why did you turn off your phone?" Yuri raised her voice
"i'm sorry.." Tiffany hung her head low
"do you know how worry i am?? I almost call the police!!"
"sorry.." Tiffany bit her bottom lip
"whatever! Anyway happy anniversary.." Yuri said and about to leave
"huh?"
"you forget, huh?" Yuri said sarcastically
"i-i don't.."
"yes you do. Don't lie, i don't like it!"
Tiffany sighed, "i'm sorry.."
"just forget it, i know you're busy that's why you don't remember today. I understand.." Yuri got soften
"i'm really, sorry.." Tiffany hung her head low
"let's sleep, you must be tired.." Yuri said, heading to their room and Tiffany followed afterwards
