The Only Light I See
Tiffany POV
I woke up, blinking and rubbing my eyes few times. I was too lazy to go to school today. I moved a little and found Yuri's jacket beside me. I grabbed it, sniffing the scent of her in the jacket, i like her scent.
I got up hearing Sunny and Taeyeon's voice outside my room, then i headed to the bathroom. After some minutes, i got dressed and joined my two best friends in the dining table, taking breakfast before we went to school.
I entered the gate of my school and looking for Yuri, but i couldn't find her. Usually, she would jump to my front and greeting me like a child, but it happened before the incident.
"hello, Fany unnie.." i turned around, Yoona happened to be standing behind me
"oh, hey Yoona.." i smiled, looking to her side trying to find her sister
"looking for Yuri unnie?" she smirked
"what? No.."
"she can't go to school today, she had a fever because of the rain yesterday. She's typical person who get sick easily.." Yoona said and i nooded
"well, i need to go now, my class will start in 5 minutes. See you later, Yoona.." i smiled
"okay, see you later, unnie.." she smiled back
Yuri had a fever?
It must be because of me
If she could get sick easily, why she gave mer her umbrella and jacket?
Wait, why do i care about her now?
Geez, what happen to me?
Jessica POV
I hurriedly went to Yoona's apartment, i was living there these past few days. Besides, her place is the nearest from school. I was too sleepy to deal with anything right now, i need a bed so much. I couldn't sleep properly last night, i was thinking about Yoona. Her action that almost kissed me, i tried to forget but i couldn't. My mind was occupied with her.
"hey, Yul.." i greeted Yuri when i arrived at her place
"Sica?"
"feeling better?" i put my palm on her forehead to check her temperature
"uhm, yeah, much better. Why are you seem so hurry? And where's Yoona?" Yuri asked me
"i need to sleep, and Yoona is still at school, but i've texted her that i went here early.."
"you want sleep? It's not yet night.." Yuri chuckled
"why? Is it a matter for you?"
"no wonder you're a sleepyhead.." she laughed and i glared before i went to Yoona's room to sleep
I could sleep only for an hour, i woke up hearing the conversation between Yoona and Yuri outside this room. I was about to get up and join them, but i held back, i decided to just eavesdropped them.
"you like her that much, unnie?" i heard Yoona's voice clearly
"i think i don't like her, i love her.." that's Yuri's voice
"so, why are you avoiding her?"
"i'm not avoiding her, it's just....i don't want to disturb her anymore. She hates my appearance.."
"you give up already?"
"i'm not give up, i'm just giving what she wanted.."
"then what she wanted?"
"she wanted me to stay away form her.."
"she lies.."
"how could you know?"
"she looked for you this morning, unnie.."
"really?"
"well, she didn't say that she was looking for you. But i know she was. When i greeted her, she looked to my side, like looking for someone.."
"oh, maybe she wanted to returned my jacket and umbrella that i gave yesterday.."
"what do you mean?"
"yeah, i gave her my jacket and umbrella because she stucked in the school because of rain.."
"so, that's why you drenched when you got home?"
"uhm, yeah.." i heard Yuri chuckled and Yoona sighed
That girl was so lucky. Yuri was crazy for her, she head over heels. Yuri isn't typical person who could fall in love easily. Even me, her best friend couldn't make her fall for me. But that girl, she was so lucky, she could make Yuri loves her instantly and make her willing to do anything for that girl.
Arrgghh, why am i thinking about Yuri and that girl named Tiffany?? I was no longer have a feeling towards Yuri. I love her as a friend only. Alright, maybe i was just curious about Tiffany who could get Yuri's attention.
"Sica?"
, Yoona comes.
I should pretend to sleep.
"Sica?" i could feel Yoona sat beside me
"you don't wake up yet, huh?" i felt Yoona's hand caressing my cheek gently, and brushing off my bangs
Silent.
What is she doing?
Why doesn't she say anything?
"i love you, Sica-ah.." with that, i opened my eyes automatically
"S-Sica? You're awake?"
"i-i'm sorry, Sica.."
"why do you apologize? Do you think loving me is a mistake?" i looked at her in the eyes
"what? No, it's not like that.." she hung her head low
"then what?"
"i-i just don't want to ruin our friendship. Besides, you like Yuri unnie, right?" she looked up
"stupid! It won't ruin our friendship, and you right, i like Yuri.." i paused
"but it was in the past. My feeling towards her has changed, my love for her is just a friendship love. Now, i like you.."
"what?"
"i like you, Im Yoona.." i pinched her cheeks playfully
"and i love you too.." i smiled
"really??" she widen her eyes
"yeah.." i nodded
"yeeaahh!!! Jessica Jung loves me!!!" she jumped like a kid
I shook my head, laughing at her action. She then sat back beside me and took my hands in hers while smiling sweetly at me.
"be mine?" she said and i nodded, she then hugged me tightly
"what took you so long, Yoong? I'm waiting for you to say that.." i pulled myself from her
"i'm sorry.." she pouted
"don't pout, it doesn't suit you.." i pecked her lips
She smiled, then captured my lips with hers. I encircled my hands around her neck and pulled her closer. We kissed passionately, seemed like the time has stopped for awhile.
"i love you, Sica.."
"i love you too, Yoong.."
