A/N : GUYS!!!! I’m gonna start editing this story soon and changing a few things because I feel like the storyline isn’t really going like how I first intended it to be. So i’m just gonna add more things and if it’s a big change, I’ll tell y’all for sure okay! Now enjoy this chapter yo !


The two finally had arrived at Sunghee’s house. Once the car had finally parked, Luhan turned over to peek at Sunghee once more and was greeted by a beautiful sight, Sunghee had fallen asleep.
*How does she manage to still look beautiful in her sleep?*
Sunghee’s lips slightly parted as she was breathing softly, her cheeks casted a soft rosy blush and for once, she looked at ease.  

Deciding not to wake Sunghee, Luhan grabbed her house keys, got out of the car and ran to unlock and open the front door. Once that was accomplished, Luhan ran back to the car and opened the passenger door and carried Sunghee bridal style out of the car, shocked by how light she was. *Is it healthy for her to be this light when she’s pregnant with our baby*  Luhan though aimlessly as he carried her into the house, shutting the front door with his leg. He then began his extra walk up the stairs. once he made it to the top, he was slightly out of breath. *Thank god for soccer for making me fit.*   Somehow, Luhan’s instincts led him to a certain door and he once again thanks the lord because it was Sunghee’s room.  After a good struggle, he finally opened the door, glancing down at Sunghee to make sure she wasn’t disturbed, he noted that she hadn’t stirred once. *She must have been really exhausted.*

He then entered Sunghee’s room and gently tucked her into bed.

*5 ~10~15~20~25~30 minutes. 30 minutes*  Luhan thought aimlessly about the time, he was honestly bored to death and hungry.

*Is she ever going to wake up soon?*
Although Luhan was tired, he was still eager to spend some time with Sunghee although it was only due to their project and he didn’t have the heart to wake her up as she looked peaceful.

/Sigh/  *If only I could tell her how I honestly feel*

Thinking that Sunghee would be waking soon, Luhan decided to go downstairs and cook food.

As he looked through her fridge and cabinets, he realised that there weren’t much groceries. *Aish, I have to go to the grocery store now*
Luhan quickly left the house and drove to the closest grocery market and rushed hoping to be back before Sunghee woke up. Thankfully when he arrived, no one was at the store besides a ahjumma who seemed to be the owner of the place.
Luhan quickly walked through the store and grabbed the necessary items for Galbitang. *Rice,  soup broth, beef, ribs, vegetables and peppers? Wait! No peppers, pregnant women shouldn’t eat spicy stuff. Besides that, check, check, check  and check. ASSA!* Luhan happily cheered earning a sneer from  a certain onlooker who had been following him since her arrival at school.

Luhan looked in the cart once more and then, he began to doubt himself. “Will she even like this?*  He thought cutely as he tapped a finger on his chin. Not wanting to take a risk, Luhan decided to skim the store once more and fill the cart with everything that Sunghee might possibly like, from sweets and treats to dairies, to vegetables and fruits, to meat and poultry, just anything that looked appealing and of course safe for Sunghee. Looking at his now full, overflowing cart, Luhan finally felt a sense of accomplishment.

As he walked up the register,the ahjumma couldn’t help but gasp.
“Sir, do you really want to buy all of this?”

“Neh, my pregnant wife might wake up soon and I need to rush so please hurry!” Luhan smiled at how easily the word wife for Sunghee could slip out of his tongue.

The ahjumma couldn’t help but frown “Tsk, teenagers these days. But it’s good that you’re taking responsibility.”

After the ahjumma finished ringing up the items, she smiled softly, how is a young lovesick puppy going to be able to afford this. Without even struggling once, Luhan handed the ahjumma a wad of bills.

The ahjumma eyed Luhan suspiciously, being the impatient that Luhan was, he rolled his eyes at her and showed her his I.D.
Before the ahjumma could reveal Luhan’s identity,  he quickly hushed her and told her to keep everything on the low. Remembering about the time, Luhan quickly grabbed the bags and left, ignoring the ahjumma’s calls to come back and take his change.

Quickly pulling up to Sunghee’s driveway and rushing into the house, Luhan noticed that Sunghee had not yet woken up.

*She’ll probably wake up soon, I need to rush and make dinner.*
Quickly remembering what his grandma taught him about preparing Galbitang(Beef rib soup) He began to cook.

Soon after Luhan was almost done preparing the food, Sunghee awoke to a delicious smell. Not even bothering to stress about how she ended up in her room, Sunghee slowly made her way downstairs and then it suddenly dawned upon her that Luhan hadn’t left, as she saw him setting up the dinner table.

*What the he-*


Luhan suddenly yelped also causing Sunghee to jump “OM- YAH Sunghee! You scared me”

“You scared me too, you idiot!” Sunghee screeched, placing her hands on her chest.

“Nuh-uh, you’re the one who randomly appeared!” Luhan accused.

“Well sorry.” Sunghee sarcastically replied, “I didn’t know that it was bad for me to walk around MY own house to see what’s going on, when i’m supposedly home alone.”

“Oh yeah,” Luhan sheepishly grinned. “Well I prepared dinner, a luxurious Galbitang served with traditional Korean sides, prepared by the one and only Xi Luhan. You may enj-”

“Oh shut up.” Sunghee deadpanned, causing Luhan to pout.

“You’re no fun, sit and eat, I bet  our baby is hungry.”

“Our Baby?” Sunghee questioned timidly with slight fury hinting in her voice.

“Our baby?” Sunghee repeated once again before scoffing “Yah!” She shrieked, “Who do you think you are? First you said you didn’t want anything to do with the baby and now you’re here talking about our baby? RIDICULOUS. You left for a long period of time and although I had the other guys, I was lonely. Do you know how hard it was for me to go through the first stage? I couldn’t  easily cope with all the changes, I had to go through a majority of it alone and for some stupid reason, I always hoped that you’d  somehow appear  and be there to comfort me. But no, you  were going around and wasting away. Do you know how bad I feel when I walk around alone and receive the harsh judging stares from people? Do you know how bad I feel for “our” baby? Constantly worrying about how he or she is gonna cope with having no father and now you’re here, talking to me as if nothing ever happened.” Sunghee then paused, fighting back the tears. “Do you know how hard it is?”  She softly said, and with that, she broke down.

Luhan stood there, staring at Sunghee. Taking a deep breath, he rushed to Sunghee and pulled her into his embrace. *Now* he thought as Sunghee made no effort to get out of the embrace. *I’ll make things right.*

“Sunghee..” Luhan trailed off trying to figure out the right words to say as his mind was scattering with different things.

“Mianhae, i’ll start off this way.” He said softly. “When you first told me, I was scared. When I said those cruel words, I was being reckless, trying to shield myself from what I thought would be threatening. I was stupid and I regret every single thing I did and said. Although i’m not completely perfect and changed, i’m trying.” Luhan then paused before slowly going on. “I’m trying for you, i’m trying for our baby and i’m trying for us. I want our baby to grow up with a loving family and for what happened back then, I really am sorry. But for each and every day, for as long as I live, I won’t stop trying. Why? because.. I love you. And I was too big of a coward to do anything about it sooner.”

A long eery silence passed before Sunghee pulled herself out of Luhan’s embrace, making his heartbeat accelerate.

Giving Luhan one more glance before she spoke, Sunghee broke out into a soft smile. “Although you’re not completely forgiven, you’re lucky that somewhere along the way, I fell for you too.” Sunghee said, not quite ready to say that she loved him because, she was still hurt.

Luhan cheekily smiled once again and pulled Sunghee into an even tighter embrace.
“Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for giving me another chance. I’ll do my best. Although my choice of words to express how I feel and what i’ll do are lacking, my actions, will be able to prove it.”

*At Least we’re starting somewhere*


*So this is how it feels like to love.* The both of them thought, enjoying each

other's presence. Not yet seeing the storm that would soon, make or break them.
