“Hello, nice to meet you.” Minyoung shook Changmin’s extended hand, while Jaejoong was glaring at Junsu and Yunho.

“Take a seat.” Jaejoong said curtly, Minyoung nodded and plopped beside Junsu.

“How did you end up being alone with Yunho?” Jaejoong looked at her.

“Oh, we met several times before oppa, he helped me.” Minyoung nodded.

Jaejoong raised one brow at her.

“Helped? Have you been getting into trouble?”

“Ani oppa, I was walking back to the dorm~”

Jaejoong took a sharp intake of breath.

“Don’t worry, Yunho came just in time. He helped me.”

Jaejoong nodded, then looked at Junsu.

“Who was this nomad?” He asked.

“He was from another clan, he thought Minyoung was….a snack.” Yunho said.

Jaejoong looked at his sister and gently took her hand.

“How…did you register everything? From…vampires…and..me..”

Minyoung shrugged.

“Oppa, I want to eat. I’ll order for a while, do you guys..want anything?”

“Blood latte.” Changmin snickered. Junsu hit the back of his head.

“I’ll take that as nothing.” Minyoung shook her head before leaving.

As soon as she was out of earshot, Yunha began to speak.

“I don’t think it’s safe for her to be alone always, especially at night.” He stated.

“Why?” Jaejoong asked.

“Some of our kind may smell us on her. Like the nomad, they might think she’s….our…walking meal.” Yunho said.

“She might get hurt.” Junsu winced.

Changmin nodded. Jaejoong frowned and turned to glance at his sister who was ordering food.

“How are we going to protect her?” Changmin asked.

“She needs to come and live with us, it’s the only solution.” Jaejoong said.

Yunho blinked at him.

After eating, Junsu left.

“Minyoung-ah, would you like to walk around and have a talk with oppa?”

“Oppa, why are you talking like I’m a five year old?” She winced.

Yunho and Changmin smirked.

“She’s quite right.” Changmin nodded.

“I’ll go with you, oppa. I’ll see you two later!” She gave Yunho and Changmin a small wave.

“Oppa, what do you want to talk about?”

“I want to apologize.” Jaejoong said simply. Minyoung had one arm wrapped around his, they were both walking around the streets of Apgujeong.

“Apologize? Ani..wae?”

“I’m not a good brother. I left you~”

“Oppa, you didn’t leave. You….just had a lifestyle change.” Minyoung smiled and squeezed his arm.

“Are…you okay with it? Being…a vampire.”

“Honestly, I asked Yunho about your diet. You don’t kill people.” She shrugged.

“Since when did you become so…chill?” Jaejoong sighed.

“Oppa, I thought I lost a brother, and then he came back. Why would I not accept him back?” She grinned.

Jaejoong chuckled and pinched her cheek.

Then Minyoung stopped walking, she froze.

“Youngie, why~”

Jaejoong saw the familiar car across them.

They both saw the driver step down from the automobile.

“It’s unnie.” Minyoung said quietly.

Jaejoong’s brows furrowed and he looked away.

Saeyoon stepped down from her car and headed up to the building.

Jaejoong watched as she pushed the door open and greeted the woman at the front desk.

“What is that place, oppa?” Minyoung asked.

“It’s…a wedding planner’s office, Youngie.” Jaejoong winced.

Minyoung’s eyes widened.
