chapter 5
the good wife
the breakfast was awfully silent ,as usual they'll sit and eat without talking with eachother . joohyun couldn't stop from yawning ,she barely slept last night ,changmin on his side was enjoying his meal -he loves food anyway - changmin's phone rang , propably his mother
" neh omma ,any news ? " joohyun was looking at him with wide eyes ,desperate to know Mr shim's condition ,she cared for him too
" neh ,joohyun and I will be there in thirty minutes " he got up " did you finish ? " joohyun nodded " what is it ? "
"appa just woke up ,let's go " she wiped and went after him.
changmin was relieved to see his father fully awake ,he even made a lame remark about changmin always being late wich made both his mother and joohyun laugh their heart ,they looked like a happy family ,joohyun in particular loved moments like those ,she missed her parents . she was a strong person ,and couldn't cry every moment she missed them ,she just needed someone to comfort her .
" I am going to drink some coffee ,I'll be back soon " joohyun will sleep standing if she didn't get a dose of coffee "arrasso my dear ,changmin and me willbe in the waiting room , your father need some rest "
"neh ,eomoni " she smiled and went out ,searching for a coffee machine ,she didn't find any in the corridors " aigoo ,joohyun-ah get hold ,you can figth the sleep !! " she tapped her cheeks with her two hands
"speaking alone again ? " she heard someone talking to her ,but couldn't see anybody " yah !seo joohyun are you hallucinating now ? "
" turn around " she turned to see a tall man in a black chic suit ,flashing a white smile to her " do I know you? " he sighed " am I that easy to forget ? " she frowned and put her finger under her chin " am I suppose to know you ?,forgive me but I can't remember you " she smiled trying to be polite in front of the stranger ," jung yunho imida ,we met before at your wedding "
" my wedding ?"
" changmin's old friend ? " he tried to help her
" ah neh ! I am sorry yunho-sshi nice to see you again "
"finally ,I didn't regonize you too ,did you dye your hair ? " back then ,joohyun had a natural black hair ,but Mrs shim convinced her to change her hair color ,she is fabulous now
" yes I did ,what are you doing here ?"
" you look more beautiful ,brown looks good on you I am here to ..." he was cut by someone " hyung ,I am done let's go " a man who seems to be taller then yunho " ah kris ,did you finish your check up ? "
"neh ,who is she ? " the man named kris pointed at joohyun " shim joohyun ,my old friend's wife ,joohyun-sshi this is my younger brother jung kris "
"nice too meet you joohyun-sshi " she bowed " nice to meet you too "
"why are you here ?" asked yunho
" abeoji is sick ,I am here for him " yunho winded his eyes " Mr shim is ill ,is it serious ? " joohyun nodded " the doctors said he'll be fine ,don't worry "
"I have to see him ,come on kris ,can you show me the room " the coffee can wait -thought joohyun- while leading the way " this way please "
changmin and his mother were in the wainting room ,changmin was playing with his phone - propably texting jessica - joohyun entered the room with yunho and kris behind
"yah! shim changmin your father is sick and you are playing with your phone tssk... how shame of you ?" changmin looked up to see his old friend yunho with his wife -when did yunho come back from the states ? _ he thought
" jung stephan yunho for god sake ! when did you come back ? " he jumped to hug him ,he really missed him ." you call me by my full name now changmin ? " he huged him back " god I missed you yunho-ah " "I missed you too ,you still remember kris ?" kris bowed at changmin " yes of course ,your brother got taller ,how are you kris ?"
"fine ,thank you "
"you met my wife as I can see "
"neh ,changmin you have such a beautiful wife " changmin glanced at joohyun who was blushing ,he smirked " yes ,I know "
"omma ,do you remember yunho ?"
" of course I do ,you are more handsome then ever yunho-ah "
" camsamida ,mrs shim I am really happy to meet you again ,how is your husband ? joohyun told me he is sick ?" they sat on the big sofa ,finishing their conversation joohyun sat between changmin and yunho ,while kris sat in the other part next Mrs shim .
joohyun was searching in her memory : how did she meet jung yunho ? surely at her wedding but...oh no! it was the guy that helped her with her dress when it was stuck in the stairs ...
"aigoo , seo joohyun don't make yourself a fool in front of strange people " she almost ripped it -her pretty dress -while pulling it " oh please don't rip ,don't..." suddnely she heard someone chuckling behind her ,she turned : a young man standing holding his chin smiling brightly " are you talking to yourself , a weird bride " she blushed and bent her haid " n-a-n... I . I.,can you help me please ?" he got closer and freed the part from the dress that was stuck " here,it's better ,isn't it ?" she smiled and bowed " camsamida " he stared at her for seconds " you are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen ,lucky changmin" joohyun was uncomfortable but smiled " thank you mister ...huh ?" she didn't know his name actually
"jung yunho imida ,and you must be seo joohyun ? " before she could answer him someone called her from inside
"oh !! I need to go ,thank you again" she hurried inside the ballroom where her groom was waiting for her ,he stood there smiling at this strange encounter .
" too much thinking ,I wonder what about ?" changmin tugged her shirt " I am sorry ,you were saying ?" she looked around yunho was gone ,she didn't even have the time to say goodbye " let's go see appa ,we need to go back home" .
