“Someone, please tell me she’s fine.” Still begging with his tears, he felt his legs were sore and weak. He couldn’t support his body anymore but leaned his back on the wall and fell down, his hands pulled back his blonde hair as he faced the floor, he was desperate and stressed out

“Kris… We lost her.” Changmin really tried his best to comfort the younger man, he felt lost too but he tried to hide it from the others

“She’s my wife.” He looked up at Changmin who was on his knee. Still with his trembling voice, he replied the older man

“Amber must’ve had a reason.” Victoria followed Changmin to encourage the young man although her heart was also tore apart

Kris shook his head, for the first time ever he could let the others see his tears. “No..”

“Kris, I’m so sorry.” The voice that Kris disliked the most came through breaking the situation. Jessica was only standing right there saw them all, no one knew what her feeling was right now towards the scene

“ you just shut up!” Kris suddenly stood up and approached Jessica very fast. His hands grabbed Jessica’s collar until he could lift her and pinned her on the wall. Kris really didn’t care if her head hit the wall or not, he just couldn’t hold his anger anymore

“I hate you so much!” He hissed, his voice sounded stern for the girl and it could make her eyes grow wide because she was shocked by his action. “Can you just… Just replace her and disappear?!”

Finally, Kris only made her surprised by punching the wall right beside her head very hardly as he groaned

They all followed the nurse’s direction to the NICU room, the others still tried to calm Kris after the sudden sad news that they all received from the doctor.

“This is your daughter, Mr. Wu.”

The nurse showed Kris his daughter who was still in incubator. She was very tiny and fragile, he felt like if he touched her, he could break her apart. Kris’s heart beat really fast, today was the first day of him to become a father. He had prepared for this day to come but Amber wasn’t here with him and the others to see their first child and it really made him very weak.

As he saw his daughter’s figure, all the hatred, sadness, frustration and anger were gone. She really looked like her mother and his tears just fell down once again because he missed Amber already.

“She’s very beautiful.” Victoria said and Kris only nodded without saying anything

“She’s just like Amber.” Suho added as he looked up at Kris’s expression

“Kris?” Changmin asked the younger man about his feeling right now

Kris snorted and wiped his tears from his face. “She… She’s my daughter..” He was still amazed and in a daze

“Yeah, she’s your daughter. Congratulation.” Victoria held her tears for the boy and with the others, she put on a sweet smile to support the single parent

“Well, excuse me, Mr. Wu, this is her birth certificate. You better write her name on it.” The nurse interrupted them politely as she handed the document for Kris to fill up

They all got out of the room and took a seat on the couch as the nurse waited for Kris to fill the document.

“So, what’s her name?” Suho asked him slowly

Kris chuckled softly as he remembered about his conversation with Amber before. “I wanted to name her Kristina.”

“Kristina?” Victoria assured him about that as she raised her eyebrow

“Yeah, but Amber didn’t like that name.” Kris looked at his senior. “She said that she wanted a meaningful name for our child.”

“Kristina isn’t bad, I think.” Changmin added his thought

“But she didn’t wanna have two persons named Kris in the house, she was stressful enough for having me.” Kris smiled bitterly as the scene kept reminding him in his head. “Even she wanted to ask Henry’s suggestion.”

“I love her so much.” His gaze was blank and the others just bowed down their heads still mourning. Then, Kris wrote a name for his daughter, he just couldn’t think of any name right now other than this name.
