“Mom, we’re sorry because you just saw inappropriate moment.” Amber apologized to the lady as she prepared breakfast for them all on the table

“Awww, why are you so cute, daughter in law??” Mrs. Wu placed her chin on her palms watching Amber while she sat on the chair

“Hey, Ma, why are you coming here so sudden?” Kris helped Amber to place plate on the table and made Amber sit on the chair

“Yi Fan, I’ve given you two options, remember?” She talked to her own son but Kris gave her a questioning look. “A. You bring her to Canada or B. I come here to meet her. Because I’ve been waiting for so long and you didn’t show her to me in Canada, so, I’m coming for you two now.”

“But, you’ve already met her when our wedding.” Kris reminded his mother

“Really?” The lady’s eyes became wide and the couple nodded in unison. “It wasn’t counted. Besides, I wanna know my grandchild’s condition.” She caressed Amber’s face tenderly

“It’s good, next week it will be six months.” Amber patted her big stomach as she informed her mother in law, then, her hand moved to Kris’ hand and clasped them together. “Kris wants a daughter.” Amber smiled to Mrs. Wu

“But have you checked the gender?” Mrs. Wu couldn’t help but smiled widely seeing the newlywed in front of her

“Not yet, mom but I have a feeling our child is a girl.” Kris answered her

“Yeah, I can see too because Amber looks adorable. I think I’ll have a granddaughter very soon.” Kris’ mother agreed, she was very happy seeing her own son had a beautiful little family with Amber. They seemed to love each other although Mrs. Wu knew that they married only because Amber was carrying Kris’ child but now, they look like having sweet affection towards each other

After chitchatting together, Mrs. Wu suggested to go shopping for preparing their lunch. At first, Mrs. Wu didn’t let Kris follow them because he had practice with EXO in SM Entertainment’s building but because Kris was worried too much about Amber and his first child, he didn’t want to go to the building but accompanied the two ladies

Kris ended up on pushing the trolley while the ladies especially his mom picked up many things for their upcoming baby. “This is so cute.” Mrs. Wu picked random things that she thought cute for a baby girl

“Mom, we haven’t known the gender of our baby yet, why are you picking up girly stuff randomly?” Kris complained to his mother

“Tsk, shut it.” Mrs. Wu shushed her own son and her eyes directed to Amber. “Amber, you like it, right?”

Amber looked at the tiny pink shirt that Mrs. Wu showed to her. “Yeah, of course, I like it.” She nodded. “But Kris is right. Can we just wait until I check the gender? Besides, we’re coming here to buy stuff for our lunch, right?”

Mrs. Wu rolled her eyes. “Kids these days… Alright, let’s go.” Without placing the stuff back to its place, Mrs. Wu walked forward, Amber and Kris only smiled and shook their head seeing her being too happy for welcoming their baby

“See that? She’s really excited preparing her future grandchild.” Kris stayed beside Amber while Mrs. Wu picked some eggs

“She’s so different from you. She’s bubbly, she smiles and laughs a lot.” Amber looked at her mother in law while her husband looked down at her as placing his hand around her waist

“Aaah, so, you want bubbly husband, huh? Is ily gorgeous husband who cares about you a lot not enough for you?”

Amber looked up at her husband. “What? Do you think you’re like that?”

“If you say so.” Kris looked away from Amber and she smacked his arm playfully

Mrs. Wu who just finished picking up stuff turned around and saw them made lovey dovey scene in front of their eyes, it made her smile knowing his son was happy with Amber. She never saw Kris smiled a lot just like this before, only with Amber, Kris could change into another personality
