Amber felt her tummy was in pain and it made her nausea in the morning suddenly, but when she was opening her eyes and was about to get off of the bed, she felt there was big and long hand wrapping her body. She tilted down her head and saw Kris’ hand was on her stomach, gently caressing it in his tight sleep. Her hand grasped his which was covering her stomach, shoving it off because she couldn’t help it about the nausea no more. She ran toward the bathroom door, immediately gluing on the toilet. After flushing the contain, she prepared warm bath for herself.

She kept thinking about what Kris had said to her last night while in the bathtub, it made her angry toward him even more because he accidentally didn’t admit his own child. She leaned her head on her palm because thinking about him made her headache and heartache at the same time.

After 15 minutes of bathing, when she was getting out of the bathtub and put on her white towel, she saw the bathroom door opened. Kris came seeing her accidentally in the bathroom, although Kris had seen her being half a lot but this time was the most awkward moment between them because of the high tension.

Kris stammered and he completely didn’t know what to do in front of her this time. “Uh… Hey… Good morning..” He tried to not start the fight again between them but she coldly chased him away. “Go.”

“You know I just wanna--“

“I said go!!” She raised her voice, Kris was surprised because this was still early in the morning and she had already shouted to him

“Brush teeth.” He told her as he approached where he placed his tooth brush and tooth paste. “I just wanna brush my teeth.” After taking his tooth brush and tooth paste, he showed ‘em to her. “See? I go now.” Then, he approached the door again, getting out of the bathroom

“Tsk!” She saw him from behind as he closed the door. “Why he acts just like nothing happened?!” She murmured alone in the bathroom, then, she approached the sink. Realizing that Kris picked up her tooth brush not his, exasperation filled her again. “Argh! This stupid husband! Why am marrying that man?? And the worst part… I love him.” Amber saw herself in the mirror, noticing her body was fat and big just like expecting mother in common. She heaved a sigh, caressed her tummy and tried to calm herself down.

“Hey, this is yours.” The door was opened again, Kris came over to give back the toothbrush which was actually hers. She looked down at his hand which held her toothbrush. Kris rubbed his temple, waiting for her to give his own toothbrush which was in her grip. “Mind to give me mine?”

“Hmm?” She looked up at him with questioning look before realizing she held his toothbrush. “Oh, here.”

“Thanks.” Then, he switched the toothbrush, making a way to brush his teeth in front of the sink while she just looked at him for awhile

“I’ll prepare breakfast.” She made her way to exit the bathroom but when she walked leaving him, his hand grasped hers from behind making her stop walking and turn around to face him

“We need to talk.” Kris told her with serious face, he just wanted to make things up with her right now because he just realized it was his fault

She looked at him as she shook her head. “We need to stay away from each other for awhile. I just wanna calm myself down first.”

“But--“

“I just don’t wanna talk to you right now. Stay away from me.”

Kris kept looking at her with stern eyes while he didn’t want to let his grip go from Amber. “Will you leave me?”

“Yes.” She said with cold stare right into his eyes, it surely did make him shock about it. “I wanna go to meet Victoria today. Hope you to be able to prepare dinner for yourself.”

Kris heaved a sigh in relief because he thought she really wanted to leave him right now. “Okay. Take care.”
