Jongin was staring at his screen. All of his best friends back in high school, along with middle school were online on a Saturday. It had only meant one thing: they were doing nothing today. He immediately clicked on your name first, since out of all the girls, you were the closest to him. The two of you had a long history together, almost even dated too. It was all just puppy love, and both of you even shared your first kisses together. Long story short: Jongin soon figured out his best friend's feelings towards Bora while they were secretly fiddling around together, so he simply backed off. Bora didn't care much of it either. At the time, they were just middle schoolers and they weren't even dating. Your feelings for each other never really stayed in tack either.

Park Bora: You're such a brat, Jongin.

He was bit of a troublemaker. Now, he knows that Bora and Yoonhee weren't on such good terms, so he invited her along as well. Yoonhee and Jongin currently attend the same school, and all she does is rant about how Sehun wasn't around to enjoy it as much as they are. Yoonhee blames you for keeping Sehun from practicing with Jongin and her to get into Seoul Institute of Arts. Althought you guys were best friends, she couldn't accept that fact that you restricted him from his dreams, and basically Jongin was being the little devil himself to try and fix their problems.

Jongin knows everything about Sehun. Sehun practically sticks it on his forehead for him to read his problems. Back in high school, Sehun had a choice to go to Yonsei or not. It wasn't because it didn't get accepted to his dream school; he left out that option because of you. He liked you to the extent that he wanted to follow you anywhere. As much as he loved dancing, he still liked you. Yonsei welcomed him into the dance department, which is your dream school. Yonsei was the two in one package for him, so he was attached to the idea.

You were seated at your usual table, waiting for him to arrive. He didn't even give you a chance to reply to the message, but since the school was nearby anyway, you thought it was okay. You couldn't order any pizza since you were a vegan and just asked for your usual vegan burger while ordering Jongin's favorite pizza for him: bacon and mushrooms.

"You should've known that was up to no good."

A bag flew into the booth you were staying at as well as a female sliding her way in. You automatically knew who she was. Your face was frozen for a moment since you haven't seem her since the two of you fought back at the Senior trip to Jeju. 

"Kai invited you?" she immediately assumed. Yoonhee was always that cool, , and slick type. You were always envious of her because of the way she can stand up for herself, while your life was always some sort of mystery. She was a good friend to you too; she made sure no one would bully you or anyone else in our clique for that matter.

You gulped at her presences, but kept it as cool as you could. "You call him, Kai now?" you changed the question. She scoffed at your question and stared right down at you. She had the ability to make you feel intimated, real fast too, but you tried being yourself together and stared right back at her.

"Don't bite each other now," Jongin said casually while taking a seat next to you. "Yoonhee, I didn't call you here to slap Bora again," he glared at her then gave Bora a soft pat on the head, which you immediately whipped away. 

"You're always on her side," Yoonhee commented, knowing very well it was true, even Jongin knew it was true. He couldn't help it either. It was just a habit since their little fling. 

Yoonhee bit her lip and softened her look as she watched you. "How's Sehun doing?" she asked in much concern. There wasn't a doubt that everyone, but Sehun, knew that she liked him. You might be an airhead for not knowing that Sehun likes you, but Sehun's the bigger airhead since Yoonhee was very open about the subject, but he only took it as pure friendship interaction.

Shifting your lips, you explained that he is just how he was when she left him, cheerful and idiotic. She smiled in relieved. It was the first smile you got from her before she assumed it was all your fault. You couldn't help but smile back. You two were great friends. It's kind of sad that any of that happened.

"Well, okay. So, I'm here to explain you two something, but... I promised Sehun I wasn't going to tell, so don't talk about it ever. I just want you guys to fix things," Jongin explained, "Sehun got into Seoul Arts."

Her face dropped at the news while you had a confused face on. You were shocked at the news. You thought to yourself why would he ever do such a thing. There wasn't one thing you could've thought of that made him pick Yonsei over Seoul Arts.

You noticed how Jongin was specifically keeping his eye on Yoonhee instead of yours. She was close to tears, because she could understand why he picked Yonsei. He got in, but he chose to stay by you. It was an idea she never wanted her head to wrap around. From all this time, Yoonhee was wrong to blame you for everything, and she even knew it. She just didn't want to point her fingers at Sehun for ditching Kai and her for studying.

The strong, cool Yoonhee you knew disappeared, at least for the time being, and you couldn't help but feel down about it. 

"I need air," she brought herself to say and rushed outside. 

The waiter walked by and brought the food you ordered for you and Jongin. "Enjoy your meal," he said and walked off. 

The vegan burger that you wanted before you didn't seem so appetizing anymore. Jongin looked at you, a bit worried from the way your complex was looking. You felt guilty, and you had no idea why. For once, you actually felt like this whole situation was your fault, but you didn't understand why you thought that way. He patted your head and whispered comforting words like how he always would when things get out of hand.

Meanwhile, outside of the pizzeria, Sehun arrived, seeing Yoonhee sitting and crying out in the cold. He instantly came to her aid since he was always like that, but the moment Sehun tried touching her, she gave him a look that only told him to stop. He could see the way her eyes were red that something definitely bad had to happen. 

"Kai invited you, huh?" she chuckled darkly to herself. She mistakened his act of fixing things to something that was against her, because for once, she showed her weaker side; a side that was only seen by Sehun. 

"How did you know?" he asked her, but she only shook her head in reply.

She knew that she shouldn't have said this, but she did because she was mad at everything at the moment. "You should just go inside. Bora is in there. You always ditched me for her anyway," she barked rudely and stood up. Sehun was shocked to hear that you were here as well. He looked through the window out of curiosity only to be disappointed. 

"Look, Yoonhee. I'm sorry for all that," he apologized. Yoonhee slowly turned around and wrapped her arms around him. "Let me hug you for a bit. It's the least you could do," she said forcefully. She really did like him, but knowing that he dropped his dream for you, she wasn't sure if he was the same guy she liked anyway. Symbolically, this was the end of her feelings.

Yoonhee and Sehun had a past that she treasured. When Yoonhee was going through a hard time with her parents' divorce, he was there. She always thought of Sehun has her somewhat property since then, denying every act of affection he would show to you. She didn't understand him. Both of them had the same passion, same interests, and same taste in food, and even the same friends, but she wasn't the one he liked. 

After a few minutes, Yoonhee wiped her tears away before parting away from him and playfully punched his chest and laughed everything off. 

"Let's go in and eat," she suggested while patting his back, draggin him in. 

Jongin succeeded to calm you down, and you guys were laughing and eating together normally. Sehun's heart clutched as he saw how you two interacted with each other and how your hands would casually be on his chest. He tried telling himself that it was nothing, but it was hard to even think so when it was in front of his eyes.

Sehun was being dragged by Yoonhee into the booth together. You remained silent again and straightened yourself in your seat while Kai keep his hands away from you as well, hoping that Sehun didn't get the wrong idea, which was frankly too late. You expected this whole thing to be a bit silent, but Yoonhee, surprisely, began talking like everything was normal, even including you in parts of the conversation.

By the end of the meal, the four of you walked towards the park nearby the school to just hang out. Everything was just completely awkward. This was the same group of friends that hung out like wild monkeys back in high school, but everything is just dead silences. You were all on the swings together. 

"Okay," you took a deep breathe out and stood up in front of all of them, "I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry. We're best friends. At least, were." 

Yoonhee began laughing only making you more confused. "Hey, Miss Journalism. I'm sure you can come up with better termology than that," she smirked, assuring her that everything was alright. 

Although you didn't understand why a sudden change, you didn't care. You charged her with all your might and gave her a hug strong enough to restrain her breathing. Sehun and Jongin smiled watching them.

"Alright! The crew is back together!" Jongin cheered then looked over at Sehun, hoping that he was alright with everything as well. Sehun was laughing at the you two in awe. He was glad all was fine since he was partially his fault for their friendship ending up in such a way anyway. 

"Earth to Bora. Humans need a thing called oxygen," Yoonhee squealed. 

At that moment, everything was just perfect.
