"So what do you think about kids?" Jessica asked out of the blue while they were sitting on the couch and watching TV in their dorm.

"K-kids?" Tiffany shot up from her seat, totally surprised by Jessica's sudden question.

"Yeah. Kids." Jessica said nonchalantly, still looking at the television screen. Tiffany tried to calm down and sat back.

"W-well. I don't know, Jess. You know I'm really not good with kids." Tiffany said, looking  at Jessica.

"Okay." Jessica muttered, still not leaving her eyes from the TV.

"Uh, Jess?" Tiffany said, really confused with her girlfriend's behavior. She got no response back.

"Jessica!" Tiffany whined.

"What?" Jessica looked at Tiffany with a confused face.

"You bring up kids then shrug it off like nothing happened. What is that?"

"Nothing. I mean, it just came into my mind." Jessica insisted. Tiffany was having none of it. Jessica sighed.

"Fine. I've been thinking about our future." Jessica looked at the floor shyly.

"You know, after our contract ends, we're going to have individual projects and after that, I really want to settle down with you. And of course that would be in the US right? Because I can't have the press talking about us and stuff. Then maybe we'll get married to make things official."
