I have to do something to relax my damn self in front of this guy. He’s making me nervous and awkward at the same time. When he acts and talks to me, he’s like angry at me or something. It’s starting to irritate me actually.   “Uhh. Lay?” I whispered quietly. “Yes? Why are you whispering?” He replied and then chuckled. “Can you come with me outside?” I asked.  “Uhh. Sure?” “Okay, great.” I stood up and pulled him up from his seat.    I asked us to be excused from the group and then I took Lay outside the restaurant. The reason why I did that is because I wanted to smoke a stick of cigarette. It’s not actually my addiction or something. I just smoke when I’m stressed.   “You know Kris is going to smell you, right?” Lay said. Ugh. Why would Kris give a damn if I’m smoking now? I’m not his girlfriend! “I don’t care. We’re not in a relationship and I’ll do anything I want.” “Oh no you won’t.” Lay said looking at someone behind me. “What do you mean?” I asked curiously.   In a brief second, the stick was out of my mouth and I found Kris beside me.   “What the heck are you doing?” He asked bossily. “I’m smoking duh.” I said in a matter-of-fact tone. “When did you start smoking?” He asked. “Why do you care? Just go back inside and I don’t know, talk to someone else that’s not me.” I said searching for the box of cigarettes inside my bag. When I had a hold of it, Kris shoved it away from my hand and all the sticks scattered on the ground. “Hey! Those were expensive!” I shouted. “Umm. I’ll leave you guys alone.” Lay said running away like a scared child.   Kris glared at me the moment Lay left us alone. “Why are you doing this to me Kris? You have no right to do that.” I said. “It was mine and it’s my choice if I want to smoke or not.” “That thing can kill you. Did you forgot or are you just plain stupid?” Me? Stupid? No. He did not just ask me that. “Maybe I want to kill myself slowly so that I wouldn’t have to deal with you anymore!” I shouted. “I thought we’ve agreed to move on. You told me that you’ll stop. Why are you still doing this?” “I wanted to tell you a year ago that I didn’t want to but you were gone already when I reached the apartment. I tried finding you. I called your grandparents, your bestfriend and your old workmates but they have no idea where you are that time. I couldn’t do it.
