Due to my complete ignorance, Kris decided to continue with work. He couldn’t get my attention after attempting to do so for more than 10 times. He would laugh crazily and sit in front of me and make ugly faces. He thinks it’s funny but in my case, it was annoying.   “Oh look! I got a huge one!” He shouted holding a huge sized onion. I looked at it and yeah it was big but I’ve seen bigger before. My grandpa pulled one out when I was 13.   “You could keep it as a remembrance if you want.”   “Really?!” I see he’s happy.   “Yeah.”   “Cool! Thanks! I’m not going to eat this.” He said that while looking at the onion. He looked creepy.   I chuckled. “Good luck with that.”   “I’m going to take a picture with it.” He said and he did.   I laughed.   “Hey, you two! Come upstairs! We’ll eat lunch first!” It was my grandpa shouting.   “Okay grandpa!” I shouted. “Let’s go Kris. My grandparents are very strict with time. Oh and bring your onion with you.”   :::   Kris looked like a hungry beast when he saw the food served on the table. My grandma’s cooking always gave this effect to people. They’re so delicious it makes guests crazy.    “Drooling? Hahaha.” I teased.   “Uhuh yeah I am. Everything looks so delicious.”    “Wait ‘til you taste them.”    “Maybe we should just be girlfriend and boyfriend in real life.” He whispered hastily. I looked at him and gave him a fake smile.    “NO.” I answered brusquely. I know he’s only saying this because of the food. I can see the obvious smirk on his face.   “Sit down and dig in everyone. We still have lots of work to do after lunch.”    During lunch, grandma and grandpa asked merely about me and my relationship with Kris. I already planned on what to answer beforehand so it was really easy. Kris was a good actor so there was no problem at all. The only thing I disliked is when Kris puts his arm around me everytime he tells a story, our made up story.   “Are you two planning about marriage already? You two seem very happy together.” I almost choked when grandma asked.   Kris looked at me and almost laughed.   “Umm. Not at the moment. We do not really talk about the serious topic of marriage. It’s a very controversial topic too and we don’t want to make decisions now since we just got together and we’re still young.” Kris answered.   I love his answer. I don’t regret making him my fake boyfriend because my grandparents are actually falling for everything this guy says.   After lunch, we went back to the garden and started to harvest the cabbages. I gotta admit, this guy is fun to be with but still he’s trouble.    I shouldn’t communicate too much with him but I’ve always had since then. Why did I only realize now?
