“Hmm…I think so,” I muttered, “South Mungsoo High School?”

He nodded. “Oh, yeah… now I remember, you’re the girl who’s always around Baekhyun, right?”

“Uh…yeah…I’m her I guess. Um, what’s your name again? Tao? No…Lay?”

“It’s Luhan. I’m in all your classes, how could you not remember my name?” he had a serious face on.

Oh dang it, that’s right! How could I forget! He was in all my classes for the past two years! Babo!”

“I’m sorry! I forgot! I’m such an idiot!” I said while pouting and hitting my head.

 He laughed. “That’s kinda cute.”

“Excuse me?” I was surprised. What did he just say?

“Oh, I just said that you were kind of c-cute.” He looked back at what he was holding while blushing.

There was silence.

“Um…What are you buying?” I asked out of curiosity.

“Meat, I need it for my dinner.” He said while tossing it into his basket.

“You cook? That’s surprising. I didn’t know guys could cook!” I said enthusiastically.

He glared at you.

“Joking, joking!”

“You wanna come try it? I’m actually really good at making food.”

I thought for a while. Well…I guess it wouldn’t hurt to eat with someone. I’m always alone at home anyways. I gladly accepted. “Sure, why not?”

We went in line and chatted a bit about school and which teachers we liked/hated. I stood in front of him so I had to pay first. I ended up buying some yogurt drinks, some celery, some meat, and some oranges. I looked into his basket and he had meat, eggs, milk, and some tofu. After he paid for his items, he offered to hold mine but I said it was okay. He kept on insisting and so I gave up.

He walked from the left of me. I could kind of see his muscles since he was wearing a t-shirt. I didn’t know I was staring at his face this whole time until he looked at me.

“Is there something on my face?” Luhan asked.

“Ah-ani, ani. I was just staring, that’s all!” I turned my head to look onto my right. Oh god, I must sound like I’m crazy or something. So embarrassing!

“O-oh. Okay then…” Luhan stuttered.

He must really think I’m weird now. There was a longer silence than before.

“So..” we spoke at the same time. Then we stared at each other and started laughing.

Great, the awkwardness is gone now, I thought.

“You first” I said.

“No, you can go.”

“Okay, than. Where is your house?”

“Where is YOUR house?”

“I asked first!”

“Fine, fine. My house is a bit far away, about 8 minutes away from here. How about yours?”

“No way! My house is 7 minutes away from here. Maybe you live near my house?”

“I think so. Maybe. Now, my question. Why are your eyes red? Did you cry?”

I stopped walking. He turned around. It was quiet again. I looked down as tears try to escape my eyes again. What should I do?

“You don’t have to tell me, I was just curious.” He said while rubbing his neck.

“It’s okay, I’ll tell you…I just…I might cry, okay?” I said with a sad face on.

“Okay...” And we took it from there.
