His eyes, my eyes, our eyes.
Separated by the word: BLIND.Jiyeon sat out on the balcony, as she breathe in deep air as she squint her eyes at the sunlight.
She smiled as her eyes belatedly greet the bright rays.
Her sight was blocked as she felt a pair of hands covering her eyes.
'Careful, my lady.'
Jiyeon removed the pair of hands and turned around.
Joon gave a sweet dimple smile, as he sat beside her.
'Don't look directly into the sunlight, you don't want to lose this pair of eyes again, do you?'
Jiyeon smiled bitterly, as she looked at the view.
It has been months since her surgery, and when she woke up, she found herself in a new setting.
New view while sitting beside her window sills,
New house, new scent of the town.
Qri and Joon eventually got married and they've moved into a small town with very fresh air and lovely greenery.
And of course they took Jiyeon along.
'You'll be happier here.' They said to her.
She nodded quietly, unwilling to argue any further.
But her heart was struggling.
Where's L?
Why hasn't he come and visit her?
News said he backed out of Infinite.
Why?
Jiyeon's mind kept thinking of him.
Every day, every hour, every minute and every single second.
She held onto her phone, looking at L's number.
Why not, just a call? She asked herself countlessly.
Ever since the incident, the accident, she never saw Infinte again.
She was very watchful, stalking every single movement of Infinite's action secretly.
----
Jiyeon looked at Joon, as he asked the question.
'You don't want to loose these pair of eyes again, do you?'
Jiyeon blinked a few seconds and bit her lips.
'Oppa.'
She made sure Joon's gaze was fixed on her.
'Could you tell me who gave me these eyes?'
Joon's smile disappeared.
He thought a while, and smiled weakly.
'That's not important, what's more important now is that you have to take care of these eyes. Because they are more than precious to you.'
Jiyeon furrowed her eyebrows.
'Why can't I know who is the person? Is the person dead already?'
'Kind of.' Joon replied.
'We're all thankful to him.' Joon said, as he patted her back.
'Now, enough of these questions, shall we head for dinner? It's Qri and my anniversary today.'
'Then why am I counted?' Jiyeon laughed.
'Cause you were my lover once.' Joon smirked, as he patted her head.
'Come on, get changed and let's go.'
--------------------
The 3 had a filling dinner as they decided to walk about.
Sensible enough, Jiyeon left the two for a date while she walked around window shopping.
It was getting really late, as the lights in the streets were the only one glowing.
She tightened her scarf around her neck and pulled her jacket close to her.
'It's going to rain.' She mumbled.
As she felt the rain pouring a little harder and harder every second, she hide herself in a nearby busstop.
Drying herself, she heard a voice beside her.
'Excuse me? Can you help me hail for the bus if it comes?'
Jiyeon turned around, and her eyes went wide.
Right in front of her, was the man she once knew.
She covered .
Holding onto a walking stick, and a paper, he stuck out his hands towards Jiyeon.
'This bus number, please tell me when it comes.'
Jiyeon's eyes welled up with tears, as she slowly took his hands.
Softly, she smiled.
'I found you at last.'
Going in for a hug, L sensed a familiarity.
He tensed up for a second, but slowly melted in her embrace.
The two of them hugged tightly, as tears started flowing.
'Now I know who gave me those eyes.' Jiyeon sniffed.
'Thank you.'
L smiled.
'Thank YOU. For taking good care of my eyes.'
'And I am going to take care of you from now on.' Jiyeon said, leaning in for a kiss.
'We'll find the perfect eyes for you, oppa. I promise.'
L smiled, as he nodded.
'So meanwhile, would you be my eyes?'
'My eyes are your eyes.' Jiyeon nodded.
'It's our eyes.' L replied, as they both locked their lips.
