Roses
Separated by the word: BLIND.
Jiyeon was walking down the streets with a basket of roses hung on her left arm, and the other, holding onto her walking stick.
She has gotten permission from the owner of a western restaurant to sell roses there.
'Oh Jiyeon ssi! You reached!' Mrs Kim greeted her as she helped Jiyeon into the restaurant.
'We have many customers today, I guess these roses are not enough!'
Jiyeon smiled as she walked into the restaurant, walking to tables to promote her roses.
'Would you like to buy some roses?' She asked one table by one table.
And with the roaring business, she is left with only one rose.
As she was about to leave the restaurant, she heard someone calling out for her name.
'Park Jiyeon ssi!' L shouted as he ran towards her.
'Nuguseyo?' Jiyeon asked as she clutch onto her stick.
'Its me... Er... The one whom you ask me to get the CD signed for you.' He said.
'oh? The staff?' She sounded surprise.
'You sure remember me!' He snapped as he smiled.
'Wait here, I'll get your CD.'
He rushed to his table, and grabbed his bag.
'Here it is.' He said as he handed it over to Jiyeon, letting her feel the cover.
'Gomawo. I thought you were trying to con me.' She laughed.
'Why would I?' He said.
'Where did you go after the fanmeet? I couldn't find you!'
'I got chasen out by two body guards.' Jiyeon explained as she held onto the cd.
'What are you doing here?' L ask as he look at Jiyeon.
She smiled and reply.
'I'm selling roses.'
'Great! I'll get the last one from you!' L said as he dug his pocket out.
''Ani... Its okay. Treat it as a gift from me for thanking you.' Jiyeon said as she walked out of the restaurant.
Feeling curious, L followed her from behind.
As Jiyeon walks back home, she felt someone following behind her.
She took quicker steps as she felt a little uncomfortable.
She could hear the footsteps coming nearer to her.
Flustered, she quicken up her pace.
'YAH! BE CAREFUL!!!' L shouted as he ran towards Jiyeon and pulled her into his arms.
The sudden honk of the car startled Jiyeon as she fell on the floor, with L hugging her.
'Yah. You okay there?' L asked as he picked Jiyeon up.
'I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?' She asked.
L looked at his left elbow, scraped on the ground.
He held onto his pain and said.
'I'm okay.'
'You don't sound okay to me...' She said as she puts downher basket and dug something out of her bag.
'Here. Take this.' She said as she stretched out her hand into a different position where L is standing.
L reached for it and take a look.
'It might hurt a little bit. But it gets better.' She said as she picked up the basket again, and left.
'Wait!' L called out for her.
'When can I pass this back to you Park Jiyeon ssi?'
'oh? You know my name?' Jiyeon sounded astonished.
'I'm the staff...' He said as he laughed.
Jiyeon giggled at herself.
'You don't have to give it back to me. Its okay.' She smile, walking away.
'Hey wait!' L stopped her again.
'Is there anything I can help you with?' Jiyeon asked.
'erm... No...' He said as he scratched his head.
'Then goodbye.' Jiyeon bowed as she attempted to leave again.
'Ah.. Geumanhae!' L said, feeling a little frustrated.
'Are you rushing to somewhere?' He asked.
Jiyeon shook her head.
'Waeyo?'
For some reasons, L found Jiyeon attractive and unique.
'Can we be friends? Since we're so fated.' He asked as he touched the petals of the rose.
Jiyeon thought awhile as she held her walking stick tighter.
'I'm not going to hurt you.' L explained.
'I just find you special.'
Jiyeon smiled.
'What's your name then?'
L smiled.
'Myung...' He paused.
He thought 'should I give her my real name? What if she knows I'm L and becomes like those creepy fangirls?'
He shook his head and thought of a random name.
'I'm Minwoo.' He said.
'Minwoo ssi.' She said as she took a few steps backwards.
'I'll be your friend, if I get to see you around again.' She said as she turned away, this time, ignoring L's blabbering.
'Jiyeon ssi!' L shouted for Jiyeon, but got ignored.
He smiled as he took a look at the medication and rose Jiyeon gave him.
He has got to meet her again.
