CHAPTER 13 - I AM IN MY FREAKIN PAJAMAS!!

DARA'S POV:

The news about me and Jaejoong dating spread like wildfire, burning all the dating rumors that first flooded the kpop world. Those artists must be thankful to us. After YG announced that we are indeed dating, reporters flood our office with calls requesting for an interview in which President Yang rejected.

He said an interview is not necessary because eventually we’ll release a statement that we are not dating anymore. He said we just need to let it pass for a month then the issue will die down. But since it is a dating issue we have to make it realistic. We decided to go out few times for a month. I sigh as a stare at the ceiling of my room.

“I’m dragging Jaejoong to a big mess….” I mutter while hugging Tamtammie.

But the thought of dating him excites me. Unknown to me, a smile crept on my face thinking what it would feel dating Jaejoong. Me with him, sitting in a fine dining restaurant, he would give me flowers and he will say I look stunning in my dress. Then I would shyly smile telling him he looks stunning too in his suit. I gigglE at the thought while covering my face with pillow.

Or, he would take me to the beach and we would walk barefoot leaving foot prints on the sand. He would offer me a piggy back ride. I will cling to him like a koala and we would run like kids while laughing like we are the only people in the world.

“Aish Dara….” I mumble with a huge smile plastered on my face, covering my face with my pillow and squealing like a teenager.

“I think I know what you’re thinking…” I heard a teasing voice.

I quickly sat up on the bed, “Yah! You don’t know how to knock?? Aigoo eonnie….” I exclaim quite ashame of myself.

“Oh.. I did knock… but I guess you were so busy day dreaming that you didn’t hear me…” she smiled at me.

“What do you want??”

She jumps on my bed and beams at me, “Tell me… you really are dating right?? Right?? Aiyooo… you don’t need to lie to your eonnie..” she held my shoulders and acted like crying. “Dara-ah… I thought we can’t keep secrets from each other?? How come you kept this secret from me…. I’m hurt.” She pouted at me.

I held her shoulders too, “There is nothing between us. Promise.” I raise my right hand while my left hand is on my chest.

“Really?” she said disappointed.

“Really…” I laugh.

She plops down on my bed and wiggles her legs like a kid throwing tantrums, “I was really excited when I heard the news….. I thought, you really look good for each other.”

“Aigoo..we don’t know each other that well…” I answered blushing.

She her side to face me, she propped up her elbow and rested her head on her palm, “Why are you blushing huh?” she narrows her eyes at me.

“Aish..what are you talking about… I am not…” I hid my face behind Tamtammie.

“Geez Dara… you’re so obvious…” she rolls her eyes at me.

I darted my eyes towards her, “Am I??” I said shyly.

She just nods at me while smiling widely.

“Aigoo…” I plop down on the bed beside her hugging Tamtammie.

“Don’t worry.. that’s normal, your numb if you don’t get affected by Jaejoong.” She said in a matter-of-factly tone. "That's Kim freakin Jaejoong!"

I turn on my side to face her, “That’s true eonnie… he is just so handsome.. everything he does is so handsome. Just pouring water looks so handsome, just placing a bowl on the table looks so handsome, just wiping his hands on the apron looks so handsome.” I laid flat on the bed and stared at the ceiling dreamily.

“The way his eyebrows knot when he is confused, or the way the corner of his lips curve upward whenever he finds something amusing or the way his eyes sparkle when he is happy.”

“The way he laughs heartily that it can almost melt the heart of the one listening to him. Or the way he talks, and walks and …and….”

“And… you’re falling for him?” Bom filled in.

“And yeah I’m falling for…..NO!” I gasped. “How could I be?? Of course not…” I stood up.

“Out now eonnie.. you’re invading my privacy…” I pull her right foot. But she just kicked me.

“Hey… you are so guilty Dara-ah…” she chuckles while holding onto the headboard of the bed.

“Eonnie don’t make me use force….” I warned her.

“Why are you doing this to your eonnie?? Huh??” she pouted at me still holding onto the headboard.

“Aish….” I cried. “I’m outa here….” I marched out of the room defeated.

I will never win against Bom.

I march the hallway of YG building with heavy footsteps, cheeks puffing in annoyance, looking for a solemn place where no one will distract me. Distraction by the name of Park Bom or Lee Seunghyun. Anywhere far form those two stress inducing people is fine with me.

I just want my peace back! My brain screams. Bom is in my room, CL occupies the sofa, while Minji is in the kitchen. Since the issue broke out, they never stopped asking me about Jaejoong. I turn left on the corner as I decided to head to the practice room. No one is there since the girls are all inside our unit.

I push the door open and to my shock there is someone inside the room.

“Eo…what are you doing here?”

TOP turns to me, “Eo… are you guys going to use the room?” he said as he pause the player.
