The next day, Jieun continued to ride her old bike to Seoul University. There was a trace of annoyance and anger on her face as she locked the thing to the bike rack.

Why isn't she riding the new bike? Suzy wondered.

Suzy and Thunder (especially Suzy) nervously greeted her.

"Morning!" Thunder called.

"Good morning, Jieun," Suzy said while twirling a stand of her long hair.

"Good morning!" Jieun smiled at Thunder. But to Suzy, she just acknowledged her presence with a tiny nod.

W-Wait. What?! She just ignored me?! B-But normally, Jieun is very cheerful. Shouldn't she be even more cheerful now? Suzy thought. 

"Wait, Jieun!" Suzy called to her friend's retreating back.

Jieun swiftly turned around and impatiently tapped her foot. "Yes?"

"Are you okay?" Suzy asked.

"You're asking me that?" Jieun replied.

What?! "What's that supposed to mean? Jieun, it's just that you seem a bit, unhappy and annoyed today..." She trailed off.

"Bae Suzy!" Jieun suddenly exclaimed, causing Suzy to flinch a bit. "I already told you not to help me by buying things."

Jieun found out? But, h-how?? "W-What do you mean? Help you? I would never!" Suzy dramatically put her hand over her heart.

"Ah, and now you're in denial."

"I really mean it! I honestly never did anything!"

Jieun cleared she took out the note from yesterday's gifts.

Suzy gulped.

"To, My Lee Jieun," Jieun started. "From, Your Secret Admirer. The things in the boxes and the bike is yours! Have a good day! Less than three."

"T-That wasn't me. I'm most definitely not your secret admirer."

Suzy attempted another defending statement, but her friend raised an eyebrow, causing her to cave in.

"All right, all right." Suzy put her hands up in defeat. "So maybe I knew that you got gifts, but it wasn't me that sent them!"

"Mhmm." Jieun wasn't fooled.

"Really! It was... Thunder oppa!" Sorry oppa, but a super angry Jieun can be a bit scary!

"Hmm? What? What's going on?" Thunder had been tuning out their conversation by listening to music.

"Suzy here says that it was you that got me gifts yesterday. Oppa, is this true?" Jieun asked.

Suzy tried to give Thunder secret looks that were supposed to say 'Don't rat me out, oppa!'.

Thunder however, pretended not to see.

Suzy! You're busted! Hee hee. "Nope! Not me. It was all your friend Suzy!"

"I just knew it!"

"Oppa!" Suzy whined and glared.

She tugged Thunder's arm. "You weren't supposed to say that!" she whispered.

Thunder just casually shrugged. "Oops," he said. Muahaha! I love you too.

BRING! BRING! BRING! conveniently went the bell.

"Oh! What perfect timing! Time to go! Bye, Jieun! Later!" Suzy dashed off to her class.

Jieun glared.

All of her teachers were surprised by Jieun's improved concentration in their classes.

She didn't doze off into dreamland like usual. Nope. Instead, she was busy thinking about Suzy's punishment.

But obviously, her teachers didn't know that, so they never called on her to answer their questions.

After two entire classes of vigorous thinking and plotting, Jieun had really thought of nothing.

Her mind was intent on revenge, but Jieun knew that her actions would never be able to follow through.

She had imagined many scenarios. Some included cutting off Suzy's beloved hair, or giving her some lotion that would cause ugly problems for Suzy's precious skin.

But she thought that both ideas were too mean.

Jieun also thought of ignoring Suzy for the rest of the year, but she knew that it was impossible for her to ignore Suzy for even a day.

So by the time she reached her third period English class with Suzy, Jieun had no good revenge ideas.

"Friends?" Suzy nervously offered.

Jieun just glared, causing Suzy to back off a bit. That's all I can do. At least, for now.
