The Deal
Forgotten
Walking into Jiyong’s room, Eunmi noticed it seemed a little messy, but that was to be expected. He hadn’t been here for a while, and wasn’t probably expecting to have guests before he lost his memory. Ignoring that though, everything just seemed nice. That’s when a phone began to ring. It was Jiyong’s cell phone. Looking at Eunmi, Jiyong told her, “I’m going to take this, I’ll just step out for a second. Make yourself at home.”
Sitting on the end of Jiyong’s bed, Eunmi noticed that it was really comfy. Flopping back she laid there hoping that Jiyong wouldn’t walk right back in and catch her laying there on his bed. Closing her eyes, she just let herself relax a little.
Hitting the talk button on his phone, he heard Papa YG on the other end of the line. “Jiyong! Good! You’re already home! I’m sorry to do this to you so early, since you just got out of the hospital and all, but we need you in here for a little bit. We’ve got some stuff to cover since you lost your memory. Your ride should already be on it’s way, let me know when you’ve arrived.”
Jiyong heard to what was being said on the other end of the phone, but he was currently worried about what he was going to do with Eunmi. If T.o.P. returned while he was gone if he had left her here, what would be said? What would happen? A thousand thoughts rushed through his brain at once. Without realizing it, he had agreed to meet and YG asap.
Mentally cursing himself, he walked back to the room where Eunmi was. Noticing that she was laying on his bed, he called her name to see if she was asleep, “Eunmi? You awake?” No response, just a slight breathing from the still girl. Smiling to himself, he admired her sleeping figure before covering her up with some of the blankets. Quickly writing a note that told her that he would be back shortly, he placed it next to her before he rushed out the door to catch his ride.
It had been a couple hours, and Jiyong was hoping that Eunmi would still be there, and not mad at him for ducking out like that. He just couldn’t bring himself to wake her. She just looked so peaceful lying there. Walking back into the apartment, Jiyong noticed that Eunmi’s shoes were still there. Breathing a sigh of relief he continued back to the bedroom.
Opening the door a crack, Jiyong peered in. On the other side of the room stood the thin beautiful figure of Eunmi. She was staring out the window, probably watching the people out below, maybe some fans out there or something. Whatever it was, Jiyong couldn’t help but lean against the doorframe and admire her. The way the sun hit her seemed to make her beauty glow even more. Everything about her just seemed too good to be true.
After a few minutes Jiyong cleared his throat. Swiftly turning around, Eunmi was surprised to see Jiyong standing there, but her shock quickly turned into a warm smile. “Welcome back.”
“Sorry I was gone for so long,” Jiyong apologized as he crossed the room and made his way to the bed. Laying back, he closed his eyes, “I wasn’t expecting to be gone that long.”
Taking a seat next to him, Eunmi told Jiyong, “Oh I didn’t mind. You’re probably going to be busy for a while, I mean you just got released and all.”
Sitting up Jiyong couldn’t help but smile at her. The way she sat there next to him just seemed so right. Like she always belonged there, right by his side. Leaning towards her a bit, he noticed there was a silence. It wasn’t an awkward silence though. More of a comfortable one. This made Jiyong smile even more. That’s when an idea hit him. A way to have a little fun.
Suddenly he reached over and began to tickle Eunmi. Jumping, she wasn’t really expecting it, but she couldn’t help but laugh and squirm. Being extremely ticklish around her stomach, she tried to push Jiyong away playfully, but he just held her back, still tickling her. Soon the room was full of laughter, and Jiyong had managed to pin her down to the bed. Looking into each other’s eyes as they each tried to catch their breath, Jiyong couldn’t help but move a little closer.
Her lips were right there, only a mere inches away from his. Longing for another kiss from her soft lips, Jiyong began to close in the distance between their faces. Just as their lips had barely brushed T.o.P. walked in. “Hey Jiyong, I’m home and I just wanted to check in and-,” he cut himself off when he realized what he had just walked in on. With a look of extreme shock and disbelief, T.o.P. covered his now bright red face and apologized, “S-sorry. I didn’t mean to intrude. But, Jiyong? Could I see you for a second? It’s kind of important.”
Quickly getting off of Eunmi, Jiyong stepped out with his Hyung. T.o.P. shut the door behind him and lead Jiyong more towards the living room. Finally when they were sure they could talk without Eunmi hearing them clearly, T.o.P. confronted him. “Man! What on earth was that? You’re dating Toma! You remember that right? Or wait, were you just pretending?” T.o.P. asked smugly trying to make Jiyong feel even more guilty about cheating.
“I, um,” Jiyong just couldn’t find the words to explain what was going on. He knew he was cheating on Toma, but he didn’t really know what else to do right now. Having feelings for both girls, he couldn’t and didn’t dare to break one’s heart. Sighing, Jiyong told his Hyung, “Listen, I know I’m cheating right now. It’s just, I’m very confused-.”
T.o.P. interjected, “Yeah, very.”
Jiyong continued despite his Hyung, “I’ll figure it all out later. Just please, don’t tell Toma or the others. I just need to figure this out myself.”
Mulling it over for a second, T.o.P. held up his hands in defeat, “Alright, I won’t tell, but the deal is, you have to tell one girl or the other. You can only keep one. I don’t want to see Toma even more hurt than she already is, but if you want to be with what’s-her-face then please, be my guest and break Toma’s heart.”
With that Jiyong just hung his head low and nodded, “I understand Hyung. Just let me figure this out first.” And with that Jiyong walked slowly back to his room where he had left Eunmi, but before he could open the door T.o.P. called out to him again.
“Hey! I want to keep an eye on you guys so come out here where I can watch you. I don’t want you doing anything stupid that you’ll regret later.”
Opening the door to his bedroom Jiyong asked Eunmi, “Hey, you want to go watch some TV or something? Maybe get to know T.o.P. a little better? The other members aren’t here right now. I don’t really know when they’ll be back.” Eunmi just nodded at this and got up to go out to the living room.
Just before Jiyong followed though, he looked down at his phone. He realized that he had gotten a text at some point and had completely ignored it. Figuring out how to get to the message, he realized it was from Toma. Something inside of him had just a twinge of pain. Opening the message it read:
From: Jagi
Hey Jagi, just thought I check in! Hope you’re doing well! Saranghae<3 ~Toma
Reading the message just about brought tears to his eyes. Snapping his phone shut when he heard T.o.P. call from the other room, he quickly wiped the tears away and walked into the living room.

Sorry chapter 9 is so short, but I just wanted to give a quick update, but I'll post more later! Hopefully....
