C H A P T E R - F I F T Y ' O N E

| Minah’s POV | [MinLay Couple]

 

 

 

“So where should we go first?” He asked me.

Lay.. Seriously?

What kind of name is this?

“Let’s go to the---“ I was about to answer when I saw him in his deep thoughts, looking at something.

I traced whatever he was looking at.

It was Shinah and Sehun, holding hands.

“Ya..” I poked him lightly.

Now, I get it.

Shinah.. You lucky kid.

“Eh?”  He turned to me.

“You like her, don’t you?” I gave him a teasing look.

“N-Nugu?”

Oh god. He is seriously stammering?

“Stop acting so innocent. I know you like Shinah.” I rolled my eyes.

He just lowered his head.

PWAHAHAHA!

I knew it!

My instincts never disappoint me.

“Yeah~ But she doesn’t feel the same..” He said, his head still lowered. “We dated. She loved me but not the way I love her. She only see me as an older brother. Nothing more. I asked her o be my girlfriend and hoped that she will love me eventually. But I was wrong. She just used me as a rebound when she felt so down. Or, I let her use me as her rebound. It hurts to let go of the girl I love just because the feeling is not mutual. It hurts more to appear in front of her and act like I’m okay.”

“Sometimes, the only choice is to let go. So you and her won’t be hurt anymore.”

“Have you experienced unrequited love before?”

“Yes. But a different one compared to yours.”

He gave me a mind-to-share-it look.

“Well. I have 2 best friends.  A girl and a boy. My guy best friend.. I’m in love with him.”

“Oh~ We’re on the same boat then..”

“Kinda.. He had a girl friend. And that was my girl best friend.”

“Now, that’s tragic.”

“Im not yet finished. So they’re couples..  But my guy best friend doesn’t know that my girl best friend is actually cheating on him. I tried to tell him many times but he never listened. He even slapped me and told e to stop making stories just because Im jealous. I stopped but I told him to never run in to me when he saw it in his own eyes. Then, that day came. I saw him cry and became miserable but I never cared. I left him and lost contact ever since.” I just found myself crying.

Lay caressed my back and comforted me.

“Uljjimayo, Minah-ssi. Some people are just too blind to see people who loves them more that anyone else do. Just like Your 2 best friends.. Shinah.. Me.. and You.”

| Shinah’s POV |

 

 

 

Me and Sehun loitered happily at the Lotte World hand in hand.

“Oppa, isn’t that D.O-oppa and Yoolhee Unnie?” I asked and pointed the two.

“Yeah~ Why?” He looked at me.

“Wait. Did you see that?! Yoolhee-Unnie ius laughing! SHE IS LAUGHING! Ohmygahd. What happened? What did D.O-Oppa had done to her?’

“Let’s just not mind them. Isnt it a good thing that everything seemed to be okay?” He asked. “Let’s be happy that they’re enjoying each other’s company and---“

His phone suddenly rang.

I gave him a smile, reassuring that he could pick it up.

“Yoboseyo, Umma?..... Im hanging out with the Hyungs……. Waeyo?........ Mwo?!............ Aish….. As if I had any other choice…. Arasso.”

He hanged up.

“What happened?” I asked.

“Its my mom. She told me to go home because a…. friend. Yes, a friend from abroad came back and she wants me to keep her company.”

“Her? Is a girl?”

“Yes. But you don’t have to be jealous.”

“Who said that I am? Its okay. You can meet that friend… And take my trust with you”

 

 

Dusk came and Sehun called all of the members o gather in so we can all go home.

Im actually not worried whoever that friend was.

I trust Sehun with all my heart and there is no point of being jealous anyway.

I don’t want to look immature and pathetic.

 

We suddenly saw D.O-Oppa running towards s.

“Sehun-ah… She.. She called me.” D.o-oppa said, managing to catch his breath.

“Yeah~ My mom called as well. I don’t know why she came back, Hyung.” Sehun said.

I twitched my eyebrows, confsed of what theywere talking about.

Even Yoolhee-nnie, who’s holding D.O-oppa’s hand is confused too.

Yeeee~ what happened to these two?

Anyways, back to the reality.

D.O-Oppa made a very sharp deep sigh, “Too bad…. The witch is back.”
