| Chanyeol’s POV |

 

 

Xiumin Hyung, Luhan Hyung and Baekhyun Hyung came over to my room and talked about random stuff.

The door suddenly swung open, revealing Shinah.

She then ran towards me and hugged me.

I saw the hyungs exchanging strange glances.

“Shinah, are you okay?” I asked her.

“I am.. I am so happy.. Sam.. I miss you.” She replied, crying.

Sam… Did she just call me Sam?

“You’re… Max?” I asked.

Am I dreaming?

If I am.. Please don’t wake me up.

I was walking down the hallways of our school with Minhyuk.

We were in high school and not that popular.

We happened to pass by a nerdy type girl who was looking around, she seemed to be lost.

I approached her, “ Annyeong~ Are you new here?”

She looked up and looked down again.

She pressed her glasses slightly to her nose and answered, “N-Nae…”

“On what class are you? Do you want me to help you?” I offered.

“O-Okay.. I'm on class 4-C” She replied.

“Class 4-C? We’re on the same class then. ^^ Let’s go.” I said and she followed.

 

 

Since then, we became friends.

But she became closer to Minhyuk.

My other friend, Suzy said that she found Max pretty when she first saw her.

We then planned to give her a makeover in the lead of Suzy, Of course.

The makeover went so well that made my jaw dropped.

 

 

From then on, we became closer and closer.

I treated her extra special and she did the same.

We sometimes tended to act like a real couple.

I always used to send her home.

Then, I finally confessed and found out that she feels the same.

 

 

Since that day, my life became colorful.

Max would never go home without giving me a peck on my lips or a kiss on my cheek.

But we were never committed.

We just feel the same.

Mutual understanding.

She also told me stories about her old friend, Alexiel.

Saying that he was her first love, first friend and first kiss.

Whatever. I didin't care.

 

 

But just like any other stories, ours had to end.

My mom decided to transfer me to another school.

Preparing for my so called “STARDOM”.

I never wanted to leave Max.

I loved her.

“I promise to find you someday. Do the same, okay? I love you.”

You don’t know how long I have been looking for you.

You have no idea how I want to be with you again.

Now that I found you, I will never let you go.

We all went to the beach.

The others swam while some of them stayed under the big umbrella, chillin.

Me and Max (Shinah) walked by the sea shore, holding hands.

“I miss you so much, oppa.” She said.

“I miss you much much more than you do.” I said and kissed her cheek.

We continued to stroll the beach, talking about stuff.

“I'm sorry if it took 5 years to keep my promise. I’ve searched for you everywhere. I'm so happy that I found you.” I brought up our promise.

“Me too.” She replied.

“So.. Tell me.. Can we get things back? Just like 5 years ago? My feelings never changed, Max. It’s still the same. I love you.” I said.

“Oppa… You know what my situation right now is.. I'm going through a lot..” She replied.

I fakely chuckled, “It's still Sehun, right? That boy is really lucky. Let’s just be friend then.. But for the last time.. Please allow me to do this..” I said and pressed my lips on her.

Without me knowing it, a tear of pain escaped my eye.

A tear of doing something wrong..

For the right thing.

 

 

| Sehun’s POV |

 

 

We chilled out under the big colorful umbrella.

Suddenly, Shinah and Chanyeol walked in front of us, holding hands.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

What the heck is going on?!

“What’s up with those two, hyung?” Kai asked Lay Hyung.

“Let them be. They’ve been searching for each other for a long time.. It has been 4 or 5 years, I think.” Lay Hyung replied.

“Huh? I don’t understand.” Baekhyun Hyung butted in.

“They’re childhood sweet hearts. They were searching for each other for a long time. Now that they found each other, let’s not spoil their precious moment together.” Lay Hyung replied.

“Oh~ So.. You were the narrator of their ruined love story? How come you knew all of this, Hyung?” Baekhyun asked.

“Not really~ Chanyeol is always telling me stories about his first love. Then I talked to Minhyuk and found out that Chanyeol’s first love and Shinah are the same.” Lay Hyung explained.

“I don’t understand you. Are you doing this because you love Chanyeol? Or because you don’t love Shinah anymore? You’re her boyfriend, aren’t you?” Kai asked.

“Shinah is not my girlfriend anymore. We broke up this morning.” He said and everyone gasped. ”I love her. And I will never stop loving her.”

 

 

I stood up and followed Chanyeol and Shinah.

Few moments later, I saw them kiss.

The same pain was on my chest again.

Shinah has experienced more pain than you, Sehun.

And those pain are all because of you.

Maybe.. It's time to let go...

A lot of guys deserve her more that you do.
