School started a little over a month ago. During the time that passed, everyone was busy getting used to fourth year, and trying out for different clubs. Doyeon's dad had taken his parents out for a nice dinner on their last night in town, and successfully bid them good-bye with pleasant thoughts of the next time they'd be able to visit. It just reminded Doyeon how much she wished she was able to have her grandmother's cooking everyday, and have her grandfather there for conversation when things didn't quite make sense. Speaking of things not making sense, somehow Doyeon and all seven of her friends ended up in the same classroom. Which was fun for them, but not for the teacher who had to deal with constantly shushing them. 

Doyeon had originally been seated by a random girl and boy, but somehow Jaemin and Mark had worked it out to where they ended up switching with the boy and girl; thus getting the seats beside Doyeon. It was like they were back in second year all over again. And just like in second year, Doyeon ended up in the middle seat. The rest of the boys were spread out throughout the entire room, the only ones beside one another were Haechan and Jisung. Chenle's desk is right behind Jaemin, so he enjoyed kicking Jaemin's seat anytime he got bored during classes. 

Really the only things that had truly changed, was that Mark and Haechan had not only joined the football team, but Mark had also found himself a girlfriend. 

"You have to come tonight!" Mark said, batting his eyelashes towards his girlfriend. Kang Mira only joined them at their lunch table once a week--Mark would join her at hers once a week as well--since neither of them were that close to each other's friends, they had come up with this compromise very early into their relationship; which has only been going for a few weeks.

Mira narrowed her eyes at him, but her always smiling face gave away her facade of irritation. "None of my friends are going, I don't want to go sit and watch a game I don't even understand all alone!" She defended herself. Tonight was the first game of the season. Their school's football season went from the start of fall to the start of winter. This game would also kick off the school trip.

After school, the students were to go home and change into more comfortable attire, and pick up their bags before returning. Of course, not all students were required to go to the game, since the bus wouldn't actually be leaving until eight o'clock. 

Mark threw his arm around her shoulders, "You don't have to go alone, Doyeon will be there." 

Doyeon looked up at the sound of her name, locking stares with Mark who was looking back at her with pleading eyes as he mouthed 'please.' "I'm also being forced." Doyeon confirmed. She had been looking for a way out, but all of the guys had made her promise to go or else they would force feed her a spoonful of beans.

All eyes went to Mira as she looked between Doyeon and Mark. "...Fine." She finally gave in. 

"Wooo!" Mark hollered, pulling her even closer into his hold. Haechan fake gagged from the other end of the table. Mark just stuck his tongue out at him. He and Mira had only been dating for three weeks, but the guys had already enough to last a lifetime. 

Mira giggled as she loosened his hold and stood up, "I better stop by my locker before class. See yah~" She swiftly pecked his cheek before walking off. 

"You two make me sick." Renjun commented. 

"I think they're sweet." Jeno said, shaking his head at Renjun. 

Mark rolled his eyes "He's just jealous because he'll be forever alone." Renjun would have argued, but the bell rang before he could. They all hurriedly gathered their things. "You all better come to Haechan and I's game tonight!" Mark warned, his smile bright enough to make everyone else grin along. It was great seeing him so happy.

Doyeon ran a hand through her hair as she slid her feet into her shoes. Doyeon wasn't usually the sports type, but she knew she had to go and support her friends--that plus the fact that the bus was leaving twenty minutes after the game ended, so all signs were pointing towards going. At least they had the time to go home before, she would have banged her own head against the wall if she had to wear her uniform until they arrived at the location of the school trip. Doyeon ended up changing into a pair of ripped jeans, and a blue oversized long sleeve shirt. 

At the same time she finished putting on her shoes, a knock came at the front door. Doyeon opened the door, revealing Jaemin who was now smiling at her as he walked backwards to give her space to exit the front door. "We need to pick the other guys up, nobody wants to walk with their suitcases, and Jeno can't leave his grandma's car at school during the trip." Doyeon didn't have to look at him to know he was rolling his eyes. 

"I would have told them to buzz off." She said, but she knew he was better than she was.

Jaemin snorted, "I know you would have--you know what?" He suddenly asked, swinging his keys in his hand rhythmically. Doyeon had already climbed into the passenger's seat, but Jaemin had paused with his door open, his elbows leaning on the driver's seat. "You have your license, you should drive!" He said excitedly. Doyeon
