Counting Down To The Wedding

Why Her?

It was morning, now...the morning that I have to go home and leave Sana. I woke up first, but she seemed to still be sleeping. I'm definitely in no hurry to go home, so I snuggled even closer to her and just relaxed, waiting to fall back asleep. I could feel her heart beating slowly, since I used her chest as a pillow. She was soft. I could feel and hear her slow and relaxed breaths, too. Her room was cool and air-conditioned, but her body was soft and warm. I almost wanted to crawl into her shirt and press myself even closer together. Actually, it's not that I almost wanted to, I did want to, but she wouldn't want me to. I remembered what Mina told me a long time ago. Sana had scars on her back and feet. I was curious to see what they looked like, but I knew I couldn't force her to show me. I just couldn't wrap my mind around what kind of human being would want to hurt my adorable fiancee.

Speaking of adorable, I heard a tiny snore escape . I kissed her collarbone. I couldn't resist giving her a kiss after hearing such an adorable little snore.

"Ng...Tzu, babe, good morning..." She mumbled, and started to pet my head. I leaned into her touch.

"Morning, baby~" I cooed quietly. I noticed she called me "babe" instead of honey. I kind of liked it a little better, since it was a less prude pet name. "Honey" is cute and all, but "babe" is a little more...what I want, I guess.

"Did you sleep well?" Her voice was tired and hoarse, but I thought it was cute how sleepy she still was.

"Yeah..." I kissed her collarbone again. "Did you sleep well?"

"Mmhmm..." She hummed. I giggled at her exhaustion. "Five more minutes, Tzu..." She whined, tiredly ruffling my hair. I nuzzled my face against her, and wrapped myself around her as if she were the comfiest body pillow in existence.

"M'kay." I smiled, enjoying my fiancee's warmth. She yawned above me, then loosely wrapped her arms around me. I felt her heartbeat slow back down. I couldn't help but wonder how late she went to bed last night. We went to bed at the same time; I remember her cuddling me to sleep.

"I don't want you to go." She grumbled sleepily.

"I don't wanna go home either." I mumbled into her chest.

"We should get our own place soon." She yawned.

"I really want to." I smiled at the thought of Sana and I living on our own; sadly, she'd be paying the bills until I got through university. I could take over, though, once I got to my career in medicine. I was excited to pay the bills for her, I wanted to take care of her.

"You want an apartment or a house like this?" She grabbed her phone, while half-asleep.

"A place like this is really expensive, don't you think?"

"Tzu." She chuckled.

"Oh. Right." I may have forgotten that my fiancee has an incredibly rich father, whose wealth would allow multiple generations to live in luxury without working a day in their lives. "But I don't want to overdo anything, you know?"

"True. Are you thinking about getting any pets? It's too early for kids. You're still a kid."

"Uhm...I don't know. I guess pets could be fun."

"Then house it is." She shrugged. "It won't be big like this. I'll find the smallest house possible for you."

"Thanks." I crawled up a bit to kiss her collarbone. "I just...I'd feel odd living in an expensive place."

"I mean, it'll be expensive to you, but it's something that someone with a well-paying job could afford. By well-paying, I mean jobs with a pretty high salary, you know, jobs like surgeons and engineers."

"Mhm." I hummed. We wouldn't be living around stuck-up rich people, then. We'd be neighbors with people who are well-educated and knew how to work for what they needed. I think I'd throw up if I had to live near stuck-up rich people; people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. "When are we getting married? I want to get out of my place as soon as possible."

"You can honestly just move here." She giggled. "Seriously, though, you can start packing whenever you want. I can see if Mina and Momo are okay with helping us out. Actually, Mina might be moving into Momo's apartment soon."

"Already? Well, actually, we're getting married after less than a month."

"No, you're right. It's really soon for people who aren't engaged. I know all you hear about from them is about the stuff, but there's more to them. Mina gushes to me all the time about how sweet Momo is."

"Is that why you're so tired this morning?"

"Yeah." She sighed. "Mina called me last night. She called me right when I started falling asleep. But she said that she got her period, therefore no drive for a little while, but Momo was taking care of her. She said that Momo brought her a heating pad and medicine. She even ran out and bought chocolate while she was taking a nap."

"Aww, that's sweet." I giggled.

"Yeah, but she went on and on for at least an hour. I hung up and told her that I needed sleep." She yawned again.

"I didn't wake you up, right?"

"Nope." She ruffled my hair. "Even if you did wake me up, it's a welcomed morning call from my lovely future wife."

It took us a while to roll out of bed, but we did eventually, since my stomach was rumbling. She got up first to make me breakfast, but I couldn't bring myself to get out of her bed. I rolled over and grabbed one of her plushies, cuddling it. I pulled the blankets back up over myself since I was a little chilly. Everything in the bed smelled like Sana...

I woke up to the smell of waffles, and a sweet voice in my ear. "Wake up, Tzu baby~" She cooed. I stretched, sitting up. "I made you waffles, sweetie."

"Thank you, Sana." I yawned, and hugged her. "I don't know why I fell back asleep...your bed is really comfy." I hummed contently with my future wife's stomach against my cheek. She was so squishy and soft. She started running her fingers through my hair.

"I'm glad you like it." She giggled. "You should eat, though. We'll cuddle more later." I let go, and she handed me the plate of waffles. "There's more downstairs. If you want more you have to come with me to get it." She kissed my cheek as I started eating. Once again, her food was unbelievable. The waffles were...I don't think I can describe it.

"When are we getting married? I know it's soon, but how soon?"

"Mmm, I think there's only another week to go. I'll check." She took out her phone, and checked her calender. I kept eating the waffles. "Yep. Exactly seven days from today. Why do you ask?"

"I want to eat your cooking all the time." I my lips, having already finished the waffles. "Let's go downstairs. I need more~" I whined. She patted my back, and I dashed out of the room and down the stairs. I grabbed more waffles, and started eating them. I heard her laughing behind me.

"You're so cute!" She squealed, patting my . I wished I could have shown some sign of affection back, but my hands were occupied with a waffle, and my face was occupied with chewing. I swallowed quickly and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before going back to eating.

"You're cuter." I mumbled right before I put another bit of waffle into my mouth. "Did you eat yet?"

"No-" I shoved a waffle towards her. I couldn't believe that she didn't eat yet. She should eat first; she's the one who cooked. She got up and cooked and didn't even have breakfast. I felt bad that I ate so much already; there were plenty of waffles left, but I couldn't help but feel guilty. I didn't even ask if she had eaten, and I was just eating in front of her while she starved.

"Eat. You need to eat." I went back to eating my waffles once I saw her taking a bite. "Eat a lot, okay?" I saw her nod, and I passed her the syrup in case she wanted any. We finished up all the waffles; I ate at least twice as much as Sana, but she insisted that she was full. We went back to her room to snuggle; her dad was still asleep, but I would feel really awkward if we were caught. We weren't even doing anything bad, but I just...I don't know. It's weird being snuggly in front of people. "Only seven days." I stretched, feeling full from her breakfast.

"Someone seems excited." She giggled.

"Of course I am." I rolled my eyes. "I'm gonna eat your cooking, and I'm gonna get to snuggle you every day~" I nuzzled my face into her neck. "You'll stop being so scared about me doing it with you, too."

"I'll still be careful, Tzu." She giggled. "It needs to be special."

"Sana~" I whined. I was kind of, no, really looking forward to giving her what Dahyun was able to. Actually, I'll be better than Dahyun was. Dahyun probably had her her name, but she'll be screaming mine. I my lips at the thought, feeling my stomach doing flips.

"No, Tzu. Only when you're completely ready."

"I'm ready now." I kissed her lips, trying to persuade her that I was indeed ready. I pulled on her lip, doing whatever I could think of to make her agree that I could have ; that I was ready. When we broke the kiss, I started kissing down her neck. She was already a little when I started feeling under her shirt.

"Tzu...babe, no." She panted. I stopped, pouting.  "You're adorable, babe." She panted again; she looked so hot. "I can't do this with you yet, really."

"Do you want to?"

"Yes, baby, more than anything." She brushed my hair behind my ear. "You're so eager, why not...we'll do it earlier than I was planning to. The night we get home from the wedding?"

"No..." I whined.

"Too early?"

"No. Too late."

"Night before the wedding."

"Two nights before."

"Tzuyu..." She sighed. "Fine. Promise me you'll be okay."

"Of course I will."

"Okay." She sighed. "Here, right?"

"Mhm." I grinned. "Unless we move into a new place by then."

"Well, when do you wanna move?"

"As soon as possible."

"Alright. We'll look at places today." She giggled. "I'll start packing later. When you get home, you should start, too."

"So. The wedding is in seven days, I get to have with my gorgeous fiancee in five days, and we're moving into a place together soon."

"Yep." She pulled me into a kiss. "You make it sound like I'm starving your drive."

"You are~" I whined.

"It's because I love you."

"I love you too, Sana." I pecked her lips. "Let's look at places. Please?"

"Of course, Tzu." She giggled, and grabbed her laptop. She started looking at houses for sale in the area. My heart was pounding at the thought; it would just be me and Sana soon...and I was more than ready.
