Taeyeon walks into her office with a big smile on her face, she closes the door and she’s so lost in her thoughts that she doesn’t notice a certain someone sitting on the couch until she makes her presence known

‘’what’s gotten into you?’’ asks Yuri with a hint of amusement in her voice

‘’nothing’’ says the blonde, too quickly for Yuri’s liking. Taeyeon walks to her desk and sits on her chair ‘’why didn’t you tell me you were starting the renovation project already?’’

‘’because you put me in charge of it, so I didn’t think it was necessary to do so, only when it was time to do your office’’ the tall woman realizes something ‘’wait, how did you know I’m starting already?’’

‘’you remember about the twins I’ve found twice?’’

‘’yeah, what about it?’’

‘’well, you see, their mom is the designer you hired for the project’’

Taeyeon watched as Yuri’s eyes widened and opened, a series of emotions passing through her face, from confusion to realization. The dark haired woman shakes her head and then a smirk starts forming in her lips

‘’So, you’re telling me, Tiffany Hwang, the person responsible for the renovation project is the same woman who is the mother of the two little kids you have rescued twice, the same woman you seem to be crushing on?’’

‘’Yes, yes, and ye- wait, I’m not crushing on her!’’ the blonde blushes and shakes her head slowly

‘’oh, you so are’’

‘’Yuri!’’

‘’Alright, alright! I’m just messing with you, calm down’’

The blonde huffs and turns on her computer, ready to get to work, both woman sit in comfortable silence until Yuri decides to break it

‘’So she was hot’’

A phone rings in a dark room, a body stirs on the bed, reaching out her arms to the nightstand to answer it.

‘’Hello?’’ she answers groggily

‘’Taeng!’’

‘’what do you want, Yul?’’

‘’I’m dropping by your apartment in 15 minutes to pick you up’’

‘’pick me up?’ the blonde asks, feeling irritated

‘’yeah, don’t tell me you forgot we’re going for a morning jog today’’

Taeyeon sits up at that ‘’uh, of course not Yul. I’ll meet you soon’’ and she hangs up, sprinting towards her walk-in closet, she passes by her many sections, the work clothes one, the plaid and hoodies one, jeans, dress pants, suits, sneakers, heels, flats, all the way to the smallest section of them all: sportswear.

She dresses in record time and runs to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. When she’s done she hears the bell ring and walks to the door, she opens it to reveal a too-excited-for-6am- Yuri

‘’ready?’’ the taller girl asks while jogging in her place

The park is fairly quiet, only a few people here and there doing their exercises. The pair have been jogging in comfortable silence for the last fifteen minutes when Taeyeon stops for a second, bending and placing her hands on her knees

‘’can we switch to walking?’’ she pants

‘’see, this is why you need to exercise more, Taeng.’’

‘’hey! I exercise enough’’ the blonde says defending herself

‘’all you do is lift weights! Nothing else!’’ Yuri yells, remembering Taeyeon started lifting because she wanted to impress a girl she liked. The girl rejected the shorty but Taeyeon didn’t stop her activities, feeling a little better with herself since she started working (her arms) out.

‘’but it got me these’’ Taeyeon says as she flexes her arms, showing her well-toned biceps

‘’yeah and you’re gonna be looking like those guys with huge arms and tiny skinny legs’’

‘’ugh! Alright! Let’s just keep going’’

The two friends resume their jogging, slipping once again in a comfortable silence until Taeyeon, once again, breaks it, this time, by stopping and yanking at Yuri’s arm

‘’Yul, Yul’’ the blonde whisper-shouts

‘’What is it?’’ the taller girl asks, a little taken aback with her friend’s sudden attitude

‘’look’’ she points to a couple of girls a couple of feet away from them, Yuri squints her eyes and widens her eyes at the surprise of seeing her there

‘’why don’t we get closer and say hi’’

Tiffany feels great, it has been a while since she’s been out for a morning run, and it’s been a longer while since she’s been out for a morning run with one of her friends, this time being Jessica.

She’s starting with the project tomorrow, so she thought she wouldn’t have time for any exercise for the time being. So, she dragged Jessica out to make her company, and also to get the lazy girl to exercise a little bit.

They are running around the park when she notices a tall brunette making her way towards them, and a small blonde girl running a few steps behind her. Her eyes automatically curve into their crescent moon-like shape at the sight of the obviously tired Taeyeon.

Yuri and Taeyeon come to a stop before her and Jessica

‘’Hi, Tiffany’’ the taller girl greets

‘’Yuri, so nice to see you here’’ she smiles ‘’and Taeyeon, so nice to see you too’’

Taeyeon blushes lightly and doesn’t say anything for a good five seconds, admiring Tiffany in her choice of running clothes, a very tight sleeveless shirt and shorts, the shirt hugging her in all the right places, and the short accentuating her slim legs and perfect bottom.

Tiffany notices the blonde looking her up and down and smiles brightly before clearing

‘’Um, hi Tiffany. How are you?’’

‘’I’m good, thanks. This is my friend, Jessica’’ she motions to the girl besides her, who seems to be lost in Yuri’s body. And honestly who could blame her? Yuri was wearing a sports bra showcasing her very toned abs and arms and running shorts that showed her also toned and long legs.

Tiffany elbows her friend slightly to get her out of her daydreaming

‘’Jessica, this is Taeyeon’’ she motions to the blonde, who extends her arm for a handshake and the other girl takes it and shakes it slightly

‘’and this is Yuri, I’m working on a renovation project for her’’ all this time, neither Yuri nor Jessica have stopped taking their eyes from each other

‘’Yuri’’ Jessica repeats and a smirk appears on her lips, she get closer to Yuri and gets on her tip toes to whisper on the taller girl’s ear ‘’nice to meet you’’ leaving Yuri dumbfounded on her place. Taeyeon and Tiffany feel a little awkward about what just happened and Taeyeon decides to break the atmosphere

‘’So, how are the kids?’’

Tiffany’s eye smile makes a return at the mention of her kids ‘’Good. They’re actually at my dad’s for a couple of days’’

‘’oh, that’s nice. I hope I can see them again sometime’’

‘’they really like you, you know’’ and I do too

Tiffany finally takes notice of Taeyeon, of how cute she looks with her oversized sleeveless shirt that show her somehow toned biceps and her running shorts.

‘’I didn’t knew you exercised Taeyeon’’

Before Taeyeon can answer, Yuri senses an opportunity to embarrass her friend on the girl she (keeps denying) likes

‘’oh, she doesn’t. I had to drag her this morning, someone has to get her to get her lazy bum up’’

Taeyeon can only groan and cover her face with her hands, while Tiffany can only giggle at the cuteness of the blonde.

‘’Wait’’ Jessica starts, gaining everyone’s attention ‘’are you the same Taeyeon who has been unexpectedly helping Tiff with my niece and nephew?’’ she asks as she tilts her head and puts a finger on her chin

‘’you’ve mentioned me?’’ asks a wide-eyed Taeyeon

‘’mentioned you?’’ Jessie scoffs ‘’you’re all she talks about’’

Before Jessica can say anything else, Tiffany interrupts ‘’oh, would you look at the time’’ she taps her wrist, where she’s not even wearing a watch ‘’we have to keep moving because I have to get to work soon’’ she basically drags Jessica away when the other won’t take the hint and move

‘’it was nice seeing you guys’’ Tiffany shouts when she’s several steps away and Jessica waves at them

Yuri and Taeyeon are left standing there, taking in the recent events

‘’Jessica is really cute’’ says the taller of the two with a lopsided smile on her face

‘’can you believe she’s been talking about me?’’ the blonde exhales in a dreamy like tone

Immediately they realize what has come out of their mouths and straighten their backs and clear their throats, meaning to resume their previous activities.

‘’WE DID IT!!’’ Yuri shouts in excitement, this deal has been the cause of many headaches the past few weeks and having closed it felt amazing, to say the least.

‘’HELL YEAH!’’ Taeyeon intercepts the brunette into a crushing hug, patting each other’s backs ‘’we did it Yul!’’

The brunette points her finger at her short friend ‘’listen, you gotta get ready for tonight, I’m calling the rest of the gang. We’re going to a club tonight and to celebrate until sunrise’’

Tiffany is out with all of her friends at the hottest club in town, a tradition they have in which they go out before one of them starts a big project, they sit in one of the VIP tables and order, to start, a couple of bottles of champagne.

‘’Here’s to Tiffany and her Kim Co. project’’ exclaims Yoona as they all raise and clink their glasses

‘’Thanks you guys, for being all here tonight. I know you all made some sacrifices so you could make it. I love you’’

‘’Awww, we love you too Fany’’ says Sooyoung as she hugs her friend tightly

‘’So’’ Jessie grabs everyone’s attention ‘’any new gossips? The group chat has been awfully quiet these past few days. The only interesting thing I’ve heard was Fany losing the twins’’ she ends with a soft laugh

Everyone’s eyes widen at those words and begin attacking Tiffany with questions

‘’what do you mean you lost them?’’

‘’I thought they were at your dad’s’’

‘’why didn’t you say anything?’’

‘’Oh my god, did you go to the police?!’’

‘’Hey! Hey! Stop!’’ Tiffany yells ‘’everything’s okay now, I just lost them for a few minutes. They were found and returned to me quickly’’

The rest of the girls sigh in relief

‘’why did you leave out the part where none other than the CEO of Kim Co. was the one who found the twins on both occasions when you lost them’’

Tiffany side eyes Jessica and makes a mental note to take revenge later

‘’wait’’ Sooyoung begins ‘’you’re telling me that the head of Kim Co, the company you’re going to be working for, was the one who found the babies?’’

‘’ and more importantly unnie, they got lost twice?’’ Seohyun worries

‘’Yes, they’ve gotten even more energetic, giving me quite the scares’’ she shakes her head ‘’but enough about me. Sooyoung why don’t you tell us about that hot actor you’ve been seeing’’

The girls slip into conversation about the recent events in their lives. About how Sooyoung was dating a cute actor from one of the plays she’s directing, about how Seohyun had a chance to work with one of the most prestigious surgeons in the country. About how Jessica’s brand seems to be getting bigger and bringing different opportunities around the world. About how Yoona met a cute pastry chef but is too shy to ask her out. And of course, a topic never missing from their hang outs, Tiffany’s love life. Tiffany says that nothing has changed, there’s still not anyone willing to date her when she has not one, but two kids to look after. Jessica says, with so much confidence, that that might change soon and winks at Tiffany. After the champagne is done, they order a round of margaritas. All of a sudden, Jessica stands up and waves at someone

‘’Yuri! Taeyeon’’ the small brown haired girl shouts, hoping to be heard over the loud music

At the mention of Taeyeon’s name, Tiffany’s gaze is directed at where Jessica is shouting and sees the short girl standing with Yuri and a few more other girls a couple of feet away from their table, clad in black skinny jeans, a sleeveless white t shirt and black combat boots. She looked quite attractive, Tiffany wasn’t going to lie.

Taeyeon and her group come close to their table and Tiffany immediately stands up and kisses Taeyeon’s cheek, but steps back as soon as she realized what she had done

‘’I’m sorry Taeyeon, I didn’t know what came over me’’ the brunette looks down in embarrassment

Taeyeon puts her finger under Tiffany’s chin and lifts her head, making the latter meet her eyes

‘’It’s okay’’ the blonde says softly. They get lost in each other’s eyes for a few seconds until they hear a scoff, suddenly remembering they were not alone

They put some distance between each other and look away with their cheeks burning in red

‘’I didn’t expect to see you here’’ asks Jessica

‘’we’re celebrating that we closed a very important deal’’

‘’oh congratulations’’ adds Tiffany

‘’Thank you’’ says a still flustered Taeyeon

Yuri suddenly remembers their other friends and introduces them to the other group

‘’these are our friends’’ she motions to the other people with them

‘’that’s Sunny’’ she points to the short redhead besides Taeyeon ‘’and this is Hyoyeon’’ the other short haired blonde makes a peace sign

‘’nice to meet you guys’’

‘’you too’’ Jessica says ‘’this tall thing you see here is Sooyoung, this doe-eyed beauty’s name is Yoona, and this one here’’ she pinches on Seohyun’s cheeks ‘’is our youngest, Seohyun’’

Taeyeon and her friends laugh softly at their interaction and shake hands with the other girls, who invite them to sit with them. Taeyeon sits next to Tiffany and the brunette blushes slightly when their hands brushes accidentally. They all make some small talk to get to know each other. The drinks keep coming and after each round, they feel more comfortable with each other. They talk about different things, work, relationship status, how they met each other. Sooyoung thanks Taeyeon for having helped Tiffany with her twins, and Taeyeon responds that it was no problem for her, that she actually liked them and it was fun spending time with them. After those words, Tiffany’s friends all smiled knowingly. After the 4^th round, everyone was starting to feel a little buzzed, and by the 7^th one, most of them were completely drunk, except for Seohyun and Sunny, who were the designated drivers of their groups.

‘’oh my god! I love this song!’’ Sooyoung exclaims

‘’let’s go dance!’’ Hyoyeon encourages the others and they all stand up except for certain blonde shorty

‘’come on Taeyeon, dance with me’’ says Tiffany with a glow in her eyes and a big hopeful smile on her face, one that Taeyeon couldn’t find herself to say no to

‘’alright’’ she finds herself saying as she stands up and Tiffany takes her hand to lead her to the dance floor

Everyone else is dancing in a group, except for Jessica and Yuri who seem to be enjoying themselves a little far away from the group

‘’don’t tell Jessie I told you this but’’ she says in a bit of a slurred tone as she comes closer to Taeyeon’s ear ‘’she has a crush on Yuri’’

They both giggle at the brunette words and Taeyeon puts her fingers on her lips, signaling Tiffany to be quiet, she didn’t want their friends to hear what she had said, even when the music was so loud that the club was shaking

‘’don’t tell Yul I told you this but’’ she mimics Tiffany’s previous actions ‘’she has a crush on Jessica’’

Tiffany gasps in surprise ‘’ I can’t believe they like each other!’’

‘’I know’’ says Taeyeon

Another song plays and this time it’s Tiffany who exclaims ‘’oh my god! I love this song’’

She grabs Taeyeon’s hand and drags her to the center of the dancefloor, she hooks her arms around Taeyeon’s neck and starts moving to the beat of the song. Taeyeon instinctively puts her hands on the brunette’s waist and brings her even closer to her, their bodies touching each other.

The song’s sensual part comes on and Tiffany turns around and grinds her delicious behind on Taeyeon’s front.

Taeyeon didn’t expect that at all, so she moans in surprise, being as drunk as she was, she didn’t care that the other girl heard her. She just wanted to enjoy this. They danced one more song like that before Taeyeon felt like she was going to explode. Thankfully, Sunny and Seohyun came up to them to take them home.

‘’I had a lot of fun tonight, Taeyeon’’

‘’me too, thank you for that’’

‘’do you want to walk to our cars together’’ Tiffany whispers her words, the alcohol taking over her

‘’sure, lead the way’’

Tiffany takes the blonde’s hand and takes her outside, where their other friends are already waiting for them inside their respective vehicles

‘’I’m dropping by to talk to Yuri tomorrow, so maybe we’ll see each other’’ says Tiffany with a shy smile

‘’I’d like that very much’’ the blonde grins and squeezes the brunette’s hand

‘’I’ll see you tomorrow, then’’ she says before giving Taeyeon a quite long kiss on the cheek and entering the car, waving at Taeyeon goodbye when Seohyun drives them away

Taeyeon is left on the sidewalk with a hand on the cheek Tiffany just kissed until an exasperated Sunny comes to put her inside the car.

Taeyeon can’t stop smiling for the rest of the night.
