I hope you know how Produce 101 season 2 works. 

Jungkook sat nervously on the seats arranged in a pyramid with chairs numbered from 1 to 101.
He continues to shift uncomfortably and legs keep bouncing in anxious. 
He felt his body cooling down and didn't exactly knew if it's from the air condition or he's just extremely worry. 

He's been feeling like this since he got on the studio with the other trainees from different entertainments. 
He take an observe around and no face seems to familiarize him. Maybe there are some, but he's not close to them. 

Two others got up from their chair and heading at the backstage for their turn. 
Everyone turn their focus in front as the two male from before got called. 
Jungkook watch them walk to the middle of the stage and bow at the end. 

One of them speak. 
"Annyeonghaseyo, My name is Park Jimin from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

"I'm Jung Hoseok from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT also"

"Are you going to dance? " BoA, one of the judges, inquire. 

Hoseok fix the mic to his mouth and point at himself and his partner, Jimin. 
"Yes, we're both going to dance. I'll rap and he sings"

"Okay, show us what you've got! " Cheetah attach on both earphones to her ears. 

The two male went to their position and the judges are ready to evaluate them. 

Bigbang-Fantastic Baby

The music starts and the trainees starts their performance. 

Jungkook watch them in awe. 
The two male effect everyone to awe at their incredible performance. 

They're so powerful. Jungkook thought. 

Jimin and Hoseok are in harmony and both bodies are very flexible. 
Hoseok was really excellent in rapping and Jimin has very stunning vocal chords. 
Although you can notice the trembling of their legs, they still manage to bear it. 

There were more compliments coming from everyone until the studio roars with applause after the performance ends.

"That is astounding! " BoA even stand up from her chair and cheered for the two male. 
Jimin and Hoseok smile and bow gratefully. 

"Okay, I will now announce the individual level. First, A... " 
Everyone waited for Kahi to finish her sentence. 
The two male from the stage sweats nervously. 

"I bet one of them will get A"

"You're right"

"They could get B though"

"First, A... Park Jimin from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"
The said name close his eyes and sigh in relief while Hoseok hug him. 
"And, Jung Hoseok from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"
The two male thanked the judges gratefully before bowing their heads one more time and dissapearing to the backstage. 

Jungkook rub his palm to his jeans. 
The atmosphere was nerve wracking since nobody knows when is their time to perform. 
Luckily for him, he still wasn't called as another two male stood up from their chair and readied themselves for their turn to perform. 

They immediately walk to the middle of the stage and bow. 
They both are so calm, as if the audition wasn't an important thing for them. 

"Annyeonghaseyo, My name's Kim Namjoon from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

"I'm Min Yoongi from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

"Alright, show use what you've got"

N. Flying-Awesome

The two males fix their snapbacks on their heads and started rapping. 
Once again, everyone went amazed by their wonderful skills. 
They might have make Don Mills smile. 

Their performance end too soon and everyone claps their hands. 

"Can you dance? " Kahi interrogate. 
The two trainees went suprised but nod their heads, perhaps a bit hesitant. 

IKON- Rhythm Ta

Another hiphop song play. 
The trainees have memorize the dance steps very well but their moves are slightly stiff. 

Their dance ends and leaves the two sweating. 

"Okay, I will now announce the individual level" Cheetah notify while looking at the papers. 
"Kim Namjoon and Min Yoongi from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT... C"
The studio filled with claps as the two males bow their head and exit the stage. 

The next trainee that come up to the stage caught everyone's attention. 

The judges awed. 
"Oh, he had a very handsome face~"

The trainee look away shyly and play with the mic in his hand which earn more cooes from the crowd. 

"He's totally suited for an idol"

"Annyeonghaseyo~My name is Kim Seokjin. I'm from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

"There are so many BIGHIT trainees here" Seung Jae declare. (Kwon Seung Jae, he's one of the judges, too) 

"Kim Seokjin, how old are you? " BoA question, smiling from ear to ear. 

"I'm 20"

"Aigoo~He's so young"

"Okay, Seokjin. Show us what you've got"

Seokjin nods and the music plays. 

EXO-K-Moonlight

His voice starts off as sweet and alluring, but he seems kinda nervous as his voice cracks and he can't reach the high notes well. 

The judges and other trainees cringe and block their ears. 

It was a sigh of relief when his performance ended.

"Can you dance for us? " Kahi request. 
Seokjin didn't hesitate to nod and position himself. 
Afterall this is the chance that everyone is waiting for to be an idol. 

Vixx-Eternity

Well, his dance are much much worst than his singing. 

He's too awkward and stiff for dance. His legs isn't participating and it almost looks like he's just moving his body. 
He can't go harmony with the beat of the song. 

"Okay, I think that's enough" Cheetah finish him with a frown. 

Seokjin bow his head as an apology and fiddle with his fingers from his back. 

"Kim Seokjin from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT... "
Kahi glimpse through her papers before look up to the said trainee.
"...F"

Jungkook instantly gasp and felt sorry for the poor trainee. 

Seokjin bow his head once more before going back to the back stage. 

"BIGHIT Jeon Jungkook"
Jungkook turn his head at the mention of his name. 
He recognize him as one of the staffs.
"Yes? "
"It's your turn"
Jungkook widen his eyes and felt his heart quicken in it's pace. 
He slowly nod his head and follow the staff to the backstage. 
He fix his name tag that stick on his shirt and rehearse his voice. 
"Gah, I'm so nervous" He mumble to no one in particular

"This way"
Another staff show him the way to the stage. 
He grasp one last breath before finally walking to the stage. 

He gasp at the large number of the crowd. 

He startled at their cooes. 

"Aigoo~He's so cute"

He merely look down while hearing the same comments from everyone which earn him to blush. 

"Annyeonghaseyo, My name is Jeon Jungkook. I'm from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

"How old are you, Jungkook? " 
He look towards Kahi. 
"I'm 15"

"Oh, he's so young"

"I envy him"

"So far, you're the youngest among all trainees"

Well, that just makes me feel bad. He thought. 

"Alright, Jungkook, show us what you've got"

Got7-If you do

Jungkook only look down the entire time as he dance the song and sing it. He was too nervous to look at the judge's reaction. 
It might fail him. 

Exactly after the song ended, claps roar around the studio. 
The judges looks very impressed and happy until finally Don Mills decided to comment. 

"I can't believe it. You can dance. You can sing. You can rap. Are you a human, kid? "
He look down shyly and stifle a laugh. 

"He can do everything! " Seung Jae yell. 

"Kamsahabnida" Jungkook clap his hands and bow his head. 

"Can you sing for us? Your voice are really graceful. It almost looks like you're sparkling" Everyone laugh at Cheetah's remark. 

"Oh, sure" Jungkook held a mic between his hand and keep his eyes down. 

"Aigoo, he's so shy"

He still heard their remarks when the music started playing. 

Justin Bieber-Nothing like us

He decided to close his eyes the entire time he's singing the lyrics. 
Everyone is practically moved right now. 
They slowly sway their heads as if Jungkook just had his mini fanmeeting. 

He open his eyes soon after the song ended and everyone claps their hands. 

"I'll give him A" Cheetah direct and the judges laugh at her. 

"Jeon Jungkook from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT... " Kahi pause. "...A"

"Thank you so much! " Jungkook bow his head a couple of times which earn a chuckle from everyone before he finally made his way to the backstage. 

"Yas! " He yell and punch his fist to the air. 
The staff chuckle at him and give him a sticker of a letter 'A' to attach it to his shirt. 

He can't maintain the big smile from his face while he made his way back to his chair. 

While walking so, he pass to the small rehearsal room and heard someone practicing inside. 
He knows it isn't appropriate but he decide to steal a few peeks inside. 
He saw another trainee leaning his back to the mirror, his eyes clench while singing the lyrics. 
Jungkook can't deny he's terrible at singing, but he didn't say that loud. 

He looks frustrated. 

His eyes glance down to the trainee's shirt and found a name. 

Kim Taehyung. 

Taehyung open his eyes and Jungkook quickly hid behind the door. 
His heart beats fast from anxious and before he could get caught, he race away the room and back to his chair. 
God, that was close. 

He shake his thoughts away and focus on the next contestant on the stage. 
His eyes instantly widen at the trainee. 

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Kim Taehyung from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT"

It's him! 

Jungkook shifts uncomfortably to his seat. 

The judges didn't seek any more information. 
"Alright, Taehyung, show us what you got"

Vixx-Beautiful Liar

When he open his mouth, his deep voice resonate the studio. 
He sings the first part which sounds something dull and lifeless. 
He try to carry out the rap part but only came out as a jibberish as he suddenly forgot the lyrics. 
The high note came and he try to achieve it but fail as his voice crack. 
He quit singing the last verse and merely hung his head low. 

The atmosphere suddenly grew thick and soundless. 
The judge's face were a mixture of madden and dissapointment. 

"I think we've seen enough" Cheetah made the music stop and glare at Taehyung when the boy finally decided to look up. 
Jungkook saw his eyes are turning red and tears building at the corner of his eyes. 
Suddenly, he felt terrible seeing him cry. 

"Kim Taehyung" Kahi started. "Why did you rap when you know you can't do it? "

"I... I was never good at singing so I thought... I thought I could do the rap–"

"You're not good at singing, rapping and dancing! Then why'd you come here?! " 
Everyone startled at the sudden raise of voice of the judge, Kahi. 

Taehyung finally pour his tears out and try his best to wipe it quickly but they keep tumbling down. 
"I-I want to be an idol"

"An idol without talent? That's ridiculous"

"I thought the judges won't go too harsh on him, since he somewhat have the looks"

Jungkook heard the trainee in front of him whisper to his friend. 
He glance back at Taehyung and had the urge to jump on the stage and just hug him. 

Kahi release a sigh and look through her papers. "Kim Taehyung from BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT... F"
Taehyung bow his head twice then proceed to the backstage. 

Jungkook kept his eyes at him as he pull back from his seat. 
The trainee from earlier, Kim Seokjin, might have known him since he rub his back for comfort. 

At the end of the evaluation, Jungkook didn't retract his gaze from Taehyung. 

"Wah, the audition ends too fast. And now, it's the actual beginning you all have been waiting for. This evaluation must have been hard for you, but you gonna know that this is just one of the worst moment you're gonna face"
The studio filled with gasps and whisperings. 
The judges couldn't hold their chuckles from the trainee's reaction. 
"So for now, join with your levels and move to your designated rooms. Thank you"

Everyone stood up from their chairs and started leaving the studio. 
Jungkook stood up as well, not leaving his gaze from Taehyung. 
The other walk to the direction at the right and Jungkook quickly trail behind him, only to be drag away from his collar. 

No! 

He look back at Taehyung but the other already dissapear from the crowd. 
He turn around to faced another 'A' trainee and furrow his eyebrows at him. 
He take a look at his shirt and saw a name Yuk SungJae. 

"You're 'A', right? Our dorm's this way" He point at the direction to the left and Jungkook almost curse him. 
He look back at Taehyung's direction. "uhh yeah, you're right. I got amiss, we better hurry"

He began walking and Sungjae walk with him. 
"Why are you staring at the trainee, Taehyung? "
His question snap Jungkook and he whipped his head to the older male. 
"Staring? What do you mean? I'm not staring, no"
Sungjae laugh at his blabbing and pat his shoulder. 
"Do you really think I won't notice you gawking at him? Are you two friends? "
Jungkook blink. "He.. He doesn't know me"
"Ooh" Sungjae nods. "So you're in love"
Jungkook's eyes widen and he wave his hands in front of Sungjae which the older laugh. "I am certainly not in love! You got it all wrong! "
"Alright, alright. No need to panic. You're secret's safe with me"
Sungjae wink then pull Jungkook by his shoulder to trail behind their other members. 

Inside the 'A' dorm, there were practically 17 trainees and the atmosphere begins with an awkward one. 
Park Jimin decided to introduce himself first till the others do the same. 

"I'm Jungkook" Jungkook bow as a respect, not to mention he's the youngest trainee. 

"I hope we can all be friends" Jung Hoseok smile and everyone started going through the closet to pull out their uniform. 
It was a pink sweater with a big letter 'A' in front. 
Jungkook walk out the room to change into the bathroom. 

Yoongi and Namjoon put on their yellow sweater with a big letter 'C' in front. 
They walk out and pass by the 'A' trainees. 

Yoongi can't help not to glance at their sweater before mumble something to Namjoon's ear. 
"For the first time, I'm desperate for color pink"

It was a glum atmosphere at the 'F' room, as the trainees were feeling the same thing, downhearted. 

"Wah, I wish I could have do more at the audition, and maybe I could get atleast 'B'" Kihyun suddenly whisper while crawling under the grey shirt. 
Someone pat his shoulder for comfort and he merely chuckle to atleast lighten the miserable atmosphere, but no one engage it. 

Taehyung put on his grey shirt then glance at the mirror. 
His face instantly falling into a wretched one when he saw the big letter 'F' in front of the shirt. 
He hates it, it only affirm how terrible he was. 
He can't even sing, can't even dance and rap. 

He sigh and felt Seokjin's hand on his shoulder. 
"Don't think about it too much"
"I failed my mother. She's watching right now and I bet she thinks how horrible I am"
"Don't say that. You can always level up"
"I can never"
Seokjin could utter no more word anymore and let his friend drown in sorrow.
Afterall, he was the same. 

"Come on, we have a show to go"

The rest of the trainees move to another studio with a small stage in front of them. 
They were divided by letter with 'A' trainees in front and 'F' on the last. 

Taehyung glimpse at the 'A' trainees. 
He wish he wore the same sweater and standing proudly in front. 
Unfortunately, he doesn't deserve to. 

The judges stand on the stage and Don Mills started to speak. 
"The start of your mission, is to practice the dance of this song"
A music plays on the background and everyone started whispering about it. 
The song was catchy and have a beat that can make you dance. 

"The title of your song is 'It's Me'. We have the producer here to show you the dance"
The trainees claps as the producer, with other members trailing behind him, walk on the stage. 
"Let your practice begins"

Jungkook felt his body burning in sweat. 
His eyes were droopy, observing the dance carefully and tries his best to imitate it. 
His legs were starting to fail him and he's not sure if he can even move a finger. 

"Hey" He turn around after feeling a hand on his shoulder, only to see a smiling Sungjae. 
"Let's practice together eh? "
Jungkook was thankful Sungjae was always there to cheer him up at times like this. 

After an hour of practicing, the judges decided to watch the trainee's dance by levels. 
The 'A' trainees was called first and the other trainees made way for them. 
Jungkook felt nervous at the eyes staring at them. 
He even tried searching for Taehyung but he failed to do so. 

The music starts and they started dancing. 
The other trainees watch them in awe. 

"Woah, they're really good! 

"They were born for this"

At the end, everyone give them a round of applause and the judges called for the next level to perform. 

Taehyung look at the other trainees with insecure. 
He can't help to feel this way. 
He's desperate to be an idol. 

After 'B', 'C' and 'D' trainees, the 'F' was called for their turn. 
Th total of 31 'F' trainees made their way at the middle of the gigantic studio. 
Taehyung only keep his eyes down while the other trainees from different levels watch them. 

The song play and the 31 trainees started to dance. 
There were some that memorize the dance well but there were also some who fails to do so, one of them is Taehyung. 
The said trainee had tried watching the other's moves but it's as if the world doesn't want him to. 

Taehyung breath out a sigh and finally give up. 
It's always have been easy to just quit. 

He can hear the other trainees whisperings about how poor their dancings are. 
Instead to feel inflamed, he gladly accepts the harsh comments that speaks nothing but cruel truth. 

Their practice soon ends and the judges allowed them to take a break. 

"Here" Sungjae throw a bottle of water at Jungkook and the younger succeeds on catching it. 
He open the lid then pull the 
bottle to his mouth and drank the water empty. 
He close his eyes and moan as the cold water made contact to his dry throat. 
He felt exhausted so a cold water is a great solution to it. 

After the bottle is empty, he throw it at the nearest bin and lay down on his bed. 
Suddenly, Kim Taehyung invading his mind with his poor dancing skills. 
Jungkook giggle, he thought it was so cute. 

"Thinking about him again? "
He peer his head up to see Sungjae also lying on his bed, his gaze on Jungkook. 
The younger sigh and close his eyes. "I don't know, hyung. There's something to him that makes me so attracted. I think he looks so fragile and worry and.. I just had the feeling to comfort him. You know what I'm talking about? "
He hears no respond. "Hyung? " 

Jungkook open his eyes and look up to find Sungjae already with his eyes close and parted mouth leaving slow heavy breaths. 
"Aish, he sleeps while I'm talking, great"

He decided to move out from their lonely dorm to travel at the practice room where mostly other trainees are practicing. 

He peek through the slightly open door and saw the 'A' trainees upgrading their moves facing their reflection at the mirror. 
Jungkook then choose to not disturb them and walk away from the door. 

Suddenly, the water he drank earlier rush down to his abdomen and there's this feeling he needs to go to the restroom immediately. 

So, he dash to the nearest bathroom and went inside a cubicle. 

Taehyung release a groan after resting his body to the chair at the corner of the practice room. 
He's been practicing for a long time now. Be the first one to be at the room until other trainees proceed inside to practice also. 

He wipe the sweat on his forehead with the collar of his sweater, forgetting that his clothes were also wet with his perspiration and he sigh. 
Suddenly his eyes begins to get teary so he glance down before the others could see. 

I should have known. I was never meant to be on this kind of place. Never. 
There's other people, someone better and someone who owns talent,  deserves to be an idol than him. 

There's no Seokjin who can comfort him right now since he's busy practing. Atleast the older is determined. 
Someday when they are re-evaluated and given their new levels, Taehyung was certain that his Seokjin hyung could move up to a higher level while him... he'll stay at being 'F', forever. 

His tears couldn't handle to stay at the corner of his eyes so he hurry to the nearest restroom and pour his drama there. 
He only look down at the sink while his tears plunge down, too coward to even look himself at the mirror. 

Jungkook was about to push the door open and proceed out of the cubicle when miserable cries cease him to. 
His eyes widen in a moment before he attach his ear closer to the door to hear the cries louder. 

For about a 15 minutes, Jungkook only stood still and listen to the melancholy cries. 
There's just cries, no words... well that is until, 

"You're a failure" 

Jungkook's eyes widen upon hearing Taehyung's voice. 
Although it sounds heart-broken and discouraged, he is certain it belongs to Taehyung. 

"Kim Taehyung, you're a failure"
Jungkook believes the other trainee is talking to himself negating how terrible he is. 

"But you're so much more than that"

He only notice he said his thoughts aloud when Taehyung gasp and turn around. 
Jungkook sigh and hit his head to the door before finally deciding to reveal that he's been listening to him crying for 15 minutes. 

He slowly open the door and keep a reluctant smile to his lips. 
"H-Hey"

Taehyung look bewildered to see him. 
His eyes glance down to Jungkook's shirt and whisper his name. 

"Why are you crying? " Jungkook ask which Taehyung look away and didn't respond. 
"What are you even doing here? Were you stalking me? "

"Hey, I don't stalk" Jungkook pouts that made Taehyung chuckle, but quickly recovering his posture. 

"You look more beautiful when you smile" Jungkook mutter, but after realizing what he just said, he quickly wave it off. 
"I-I mean, y-you look great when you smile" He release an awkward laugh and look down and scratch his nape. 
Taehyung was taken aback but settle to ignore it. 
"T-Thanks" He shyly look away. He was about to open his mouth to say a word when suddenly, a pair of arms hug his waist tightly that Taehyung step back from losing some balance. 

He felt his breath quicken following the pace of his heart. 
He look down to see Jungkook burying his head to his chest to hide his red face. 

Taehyung didn't push him, though. 
His embrace was odd. 
Not like the ones Seokjin gave him, the older's hugs comforts him but this one, it's something's different. 

Jungkook then slowly pull away and try avoiding his eyes. 
"I thought you needed one, just to cheer you up, I guess"

"But w-why? "

Jungkook smile at him. "I'm looking for friendships, not enemies. You can get through this, Taehyung-ssi"

"But how? How am I suppose to be like you? "

"You wanna know my secret? " Jungkook smirk, then look to his left and right even though he is certain they're the only ones inside the bathroom. 
"Think about someone that's worth fighting for"

"Like who exactly? "

Jungkook shrug. "Family, perhaps? Siblings. You got a girlfriend? Think about her! You can do this, Taehyung-ssi"
He smile and Taehyung can't help but do the same. 

Jungkook gave him a last wink before proceeding out of the bathroom, leaving Taehyung alone with his thoughts. 

Someone who's worth fighting for? 

A smile crept onto his lips. 

After their little incident, Taehyung pursue on practicing more and more, there was someone in his mind that kept his sweats worth it. It was none other than the other trainee from the different level, Jeon Jungkook. 

Jungkook fiddle with his fingers on his lap to busy his hand. 

The other 'A' trainees, including him, is currently sitting on their practice room until Kahi came in. 

The said judge had a small smile on her face while a small envelope in between her hand. 

"I hope you're aware that today is the day of your re-evaluation and will be given your new levels. Luckily, some of you will stay in this higher level. Sadly, 6 trainees are not"

The room filled with gasps and loud whisperings. 
"Shall we start? "

Jungkook watch as the other 'A' trainees went out from the practice room with dejected face to move to their new level.
Jungkook only sigh in relief when his result says he still stay in his current level. 
The practice room had a thick atmosphere and an eerie silence. 

Two males from case 'C' sat at the corner of the room. 
Jungkook recognize them as Min Yoongi and Kim Namjoon who raps on the evaluation. 
It's amazing how they reach 'C' to 'A' in instant. 
But Jungkook isn't waiting for them, there's only one person... 

The door open once again. 
Jungkook look up to the direction and a bright smile instantly spread on his face. 
"Ooh, he got here, isn't that awesome? " Sungjae mumble with a teasing tone and nudge his side. 
"Shut up" He roll his eyes to the elder. 

"Taehyung-ssi! " He called and wave his hand to the trainee. 
The said name give a small smile and made his way beside Jungkook. 

"You made it! " 
"Yeah, I really did"
"That's great! I see you followed my orders, huh? "
Taehyung chuckle. "You can say that"
"So, who's your inspiration? That person must be really special"

Taehyung study his face a little longer. 
His warm smile making the sun jealous to it's bright and he can't help but do the same. 

It's you, Jungkook. You kept me fighting for to be with you. 

"It's just my mother. I miss her a lot"

I don't know why I even thought about this. 

No offense to 'Kim Taehyung' here in the story. I see Taehyung (and Seokjin) as wonderful and talented. 
But let me gee it up a bit for this chapter.
