If you asked how long it takes an average human to get used to something or someone, Jungkook would answer: 'depending on how much you like that person'. 

And with Taehyung, it was easy, Jungkook admits that. 

Easy in the way that the elder doesn't pry into his personal life yet still manages to make him feel welcomed. Easy in the way that Taehyung is simple and innocent without any underlying words and ulterior intentions-his company is decent and at times quite warm. 

Snow's presence also added onto that effect. 

The dog was as pure and lovable as her owner and you end up enjoying the vibrant environment that the two offered whether you liked it or not; whether you even noticed it or not.  

So Jungkook's current situation is this: he is quite used to Taehyung coming over on weekends with his dog whenever they were both free and they would spend it over a home cooked meal or an anime marathon. 

Thanks to the revelation one day that they were both anticipating Shingenki's long awaited second season and deciding that they might as well watch the first ep of the season together, it became an unplanned routine to do so together with every new ep that came at the end of each week. 

Jungkook didn't mind really, like stated, Taehyung is harmless and easy to get along with. Not to mention the elder's great cooking was more than commendable. (Way better than the fast food or 2 minute noodles that Jungkook has to make during times of difficultieslaziness).

Along the couple of weeks that passed by seamlessly, Jungkook also learns bits and pieces of the elder by accident. Like little habits of talking to Snow animatedly whenever they were together, or like mumbling an apology to everything that he hurt-and by this Jungkook meant innate objects. Taehyung would literally bump into the wall or the side of the sofa and gasp an apology at it almost like an inbuilt reflex. Jungkook admits that it was hilarious and weird at first but it's somewhat endearing once he got used to it.

Other times he learns things about the elder by accident that was a bit more personal.

Jungkook just happened to realise that Taehyung always made sure he left his place early before it ever got too dark. Jungkook never really asked about it but he had a feeling that may the elder just didn't like the dark very much. Although it was just a simple assumption, Jungkook couldn't help but just tease Taehyung about it. Something along the lines of 'you should man up hyung, I didn't know you were such a scaredy cat'

It was than that Taehyung had made a slip up and confessed, almost a bit too naturally.

With dejected soft eyes, Taehyung reveals that it was because growing up, when he was younger he was always left to sleep alone in a empty house late at night. Whether it be nightmares or pure longing for warmth from both his parents, Taehyung had always craved for it whenever night came. When nothing changed, even when the night had seeped through his window panes, he had come to detest the dark. 

Jungkook didn't know what to say at the sudden revelation, but something about the soft saddened smile that he spotted on the usual vibrant elder, had urged him to keep quiet. 

And just like that, Jungkook learns bits and pieces of the elder unknowingly as the weeks pass by smoothly. 

"Oh would you look at that, it's Sir Jeon, finally making his most anticipated walk towards us, bravo." Jimin sarcastically exclaims as he shoots up from his seat in the private bar seating area that was situated a floor higher to the left of the dance floor inside of their usual club visit. Hoseok and Yoongi chuckles as Jungkook strides over, clad in his skinny black jeans, a loose white tee and leather jacket. A simple look yet it was always more than enough to knock both girls and guys off their feet. 

"Shut up Jimin- Hey hobi hyung, sup Yoongi hyung," Jungkook greets as he smiles and throws himself familiarly down onto the spare space beside Hoseok who immediately raised his hand for the waiter to bring another drink for the younger. 

"Oh you're alive," Yoongi chuckles as he takes a sip of the sweet yet alcoholic cocktail. Yoongi may look like he could savagely beat someone with his attitude and cold demeanor any day- the guy actually has a soft spot for sweet and cute things believe it or not. And respectively speaking there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. 

"Yah haven't seen you in a while, what's up kiddo," Hoseok joins in as he gives Jungkook's thighs a playful slap before skulling down his glass of whiskey.
