Is This The End of a Love Story?

(THIRD PERSON P.O.V)

It has been a week since the incidents involving the two couples happened. Kibum has been discharged from the hospital, Mr. Choi was sentenced into a lifetime imprisonment for the case of ‘attempted murder’, Jiyong, the one who helped Kibum was only charged by ‘being an accessory to the crime’ was bailed out by the Kim’s and his sister was found too, Jessica on the other hand was sent to Japan by his father also because of the Kim’s negotiation that they won’t charge Mr. Jung with the crime about Jiyong and his sister if he does send his daughter away.

Minho sat down quietly as he listened intently to the court hearing about his father and his underground illegal business. The young guy has not known any of this for years. He’s only known of a mafia his family had but that was all he knew. With his lawyer, he and the judge had to settle some matters such as inheritance and others. His mother refused to go to court so he had to.

Once the court hearing was over, he left the building and outside was his cute Taemin, cross-legged as he sat down on one of the waiting benches. Minho smiled and patted him on the head gently. Taemin shot up and took Minho in his arms.

“Are you okay?” Taemin asked, worried.
 

“Yeah, I’m fine.”

Minho walked towards Taemin and never left contact with the younger guy’s dark brown pupils. Minho cupped the back of Taemin’s head and moved his thumb up and down. “I love you so much, my baby Taemin…I can’t wish to spend the rest of my life with anyone else but you.”

“Minho…”

“That’s why, if you don’t mind me asking…” Minho knelt on one knee and brought out a velvet box with a red ribbon on it, “Will you marry me after we graduate, Lee Taemin? I’m sorry I couldn’t ask you to marry me earlier than our graduation… my mom said that we could only get married once we both finish our studies… you know how she can be, but I promise that I’ll marry you and stay with you for my entire lifetime.”

Taemin bent down and kissed Minho. The answer was—“Yes yes yes! One hundred percent yes! Even if I still have for a few years, I would still want to get married to you my lovely Minho!” They stayed in a deep embrace.

“I know that too, my ever so lovely baby Taemin.”

Two tired bodies laid down the green grassy field under a big oak tree beside each other, hands laced lovingly. A bunch of kisses shared. Jonghyun had Kibum under his arm, the other arm was closely circling Kibum’s back. Kibum on the other hand caressed his boyfriend’s skin and imagined what their future would be like.

“What are you thinking about, Kibummie?”

“Hm? I was just thinking what will the future hold for the two of us… like what would happen to our future..”

“Our future?”

“Yep.”

“Tell me. what do you want to see for our future, baby?”
 

“I see you…and me…” Kibum looked up at his boyfriend, his eyes twinkling with so much love for the lying beside him. “Happy… our hands intertwined, with our hearts connected with each other… I want to be with you forever… I want you, and only you…”

“Kibummie, we won’t have problems, right?”

“We will have problems…just not the same ones.”

“I honestly love your positive sense in life.”

“I love you too.”

“I love you, three.”

Jonghyun took Kibum’s sweet cherry-like lips and they said nothing more. They wanted to stay like that for as long as possible.

“But… I think we’ll have to get through your mom’s skin before I can take you…”

Kibum laughed. “You and your dirty jokes. You're so weird, Jjongie the dinosaur...”

“I got that from my instincts.” Jonghyun grinned brightly at his boyfriend.

“What instincts? Your dinosaur instinct?” Kibum wiggled his eyebrows teasingly at the giggling Jonghyun.

“But, you still love me, don't you?”

“Of course I do, idiot!”

“Hey! Don't call me that!”

“Okay, sorry, Jjongie. You know I love you~” They shared a simple peck on the lips.

Jonghyun caressed his baby's face, “I know you do...and I love you so much.”

Kibum stood up when his handphone vibrated indicating that someone texted him. He beamed brightly when he read the message content.

Kibum flipped down his handphone and placed it back the pocket of his pants. He laid down again beside his very curious boyfriend.

“Is that your Onew-hyung?”

“Uh… yes?”

“What did he say?”

“He said that his univ’s popular guy confessed to him, and he’s asking me what to do. I said that he should give the two of them a great chance to get to know more.”

“Wow! He’s lucky.”

“I know right!! The guy seems to have been a really, really smart and popular guy in his university! I wished I dated someone like that Shim Changmin.”

Jonghyun pouted at Kibum's comment, “Ya! Bummie, you don't mean it do you?  I’m also popular!! I may even be more popular than that guy!!” he looked at his lover with puppy dog eyes.

Kibum smiled and kissed him, “Don't worry your small face, Jjongie. I'm happy that I’m with your right now and forever.” Jonghyun grinned a bit wider and hugged Kibum tightly.

They stayed in their own world for several minutes before the two of them stood up. Once they were standing up, they shared another passionate kiss. Their sweet tongues danced around in each other’s mouth. They pulled back to catch breath. They gazed into one another’s eyes. Kibum spoke first, “I love you, Jjongie… forever and ever.”

“I love you so much, my Kibummie…”

Jonghyun pulled Kibum into a tight hug before cupping his face gently and planting a soft kiss on Kibum’s lips. They both giggled when they remembered the first kiss they shared with each other at the party in Jonghyun’s house. A ridiculous mistake that led to a love story sweet as honey but strong as an oak tree at the same time.

Would this be an ending? Nope.

More so, it is only the beginning.

A beginning of a sweet love story that touched the hearts of two people.

Kim Kibum and Kim Jonghyun.

A love story that delivered everlasting messages to people who acknowledged and gave way to changes that happened in their lives.
