30.  “Twins? We’re…we’re having twins?!”

I couldn’t believe this was happening. 2 weeks from the wedding and now he changes his mind about us.

“I don’t understand…” I said, the tears flowing freely.

“You heard me…Take. It. Off.” he responded, cold as ever.

I looked at the engagement ring on my left hand and slowly started to slide it off, my finger already feeling bare with it moved just millimeters.

“But what are we going to do about the twins?” I asked, sobbing as I walked over to place the ring in his outstretched hand.

“Twins?” he asked coldly, “What twins?”

I brushed the tears from under my eyes and placed my hand on my slightly swollen belly.

“Jimin…I was planning to tell you on our wedding day. I wanted it to be a surprise…” I said as I grabbed his hand that wasn’t clenching my engagement ring and moved it over my womb.

“Twins? We’re…we’re having twins?!” he asked as he slowly backed away from me and ran his free hand through his hair.

“Please Jimin…” I begged, “Let’s be a family,” I smiled looking down at my unborn twins, “the four of us…”

Jimin exhaled loudly before looking back up at me, his eyes colder than ever.
