“You said you’d be here. Where are you?” I violently whispered into the phone. This was at least my 20th voicemail in the last hour. I awkwardly rejoined my parents back at the dinner table and smiled painfully. “I don’t think it’ll be too much longer, he said that he just got caught up at work.”

“With how many times he’s missed dinner with us, his work must be really important to him. Are you sure that Hoseok cares enough about you? This is the fourth dinner he’s skipped Y/N,” my mother paused, “maybe it’s time you look for someone who has the time to dedicate themselves to you.”
