“You walked away, not me.” I stated firmly as I stared at the tear-stained face of the man who was once my only light in a sea of darkness, but now was nothing more than a painful regret. “You walked away from me and Yoona. You left before she could even recognize who you were and that is something I can never forgive you for, Yoongi.”

I had to remain strong for myself and my daughter. He left over 3 years ago and had the nerve to show up asking for another chance.

Yoongi looked so emotionally and physically exhausted that I was amazed he had the strength to still speak.

“Yet you did!” I snapped back, not a glimmer of forgiveness in my voice. I knew being with him and having a family with him might be hard at times, but i never expected him to flat out choose his career over his family. He had no right to abandon me and Yoona, even if he had to go away for a while, he could have kept in touch and tried to make it work. Instead he ran and never looked back, so I have no sympathy for him. 

I know he’s not an evil person deep down and that he thought he was doing what was best at that time, but that decision to just abandon me and Yoona was the last decision he would ever be allowed to make about our lives. With that one decision he lost the both of us.
