“Onigiri~”

“Yah what’s with that nickname?”

“Don’t you remember?” Mark flashed Jinyoung his lock screen on the phone to reveal the picture of Jinyoung wearing an onigiri hat.

Mark pulled his hand away just before Jinyoung could snatch his phone. Mark couldn’t help but grin because it was one of the rare times Jinyoung’s cute large ears were tinted red.

“Yah, delete that. Why is that even you’re lock screen?” he asked eyebrows furrowed.

“A fan tagged me in the picture on Twitter and I thought it was cute. Don’t you think so?” he asked teasingly flashing the picture again to Jinyoung who once again tried to grab his phone.

Jinyoung put his hands on his hips and sighed as he usually did when something wasn’t going his way but Mark could only laugh at Jinyoung’s condition.

“Mark Yien Tuan, change your lock screen.” Jinyoung commanded.

“Yah, I’m your hyung.” Mark responded mimicking Jinyoung’s tone whenever he told that to Yugyeum and the younger couldn’t hold his stern face and a smile slipped but was quickly replaces as he regained his resolve.

“I’m serious hyung.”

“What will you do for me if I do Onigiri? Mark teased wiggling his eyebrows at the younger who at this time just started to pout.

“Mark hyung~” he cooed trying to use aegyo to persuade him and if Mark didn’t have something in mind he would have gave up to how cute the younger was being currently.

“Markeeuuu hyuunngggg~” he cooed again coming closer to him and at this point he had to bite his lip as to not give in. How could someone change from being so cool and handsome to being cute like a child in an instant?

Jinyoung used Mark’s distracted state and tried to grab at the phone in his hand and succeeded.

Mark cursed under his breath while Jinyoung rejoiced and mocked him by waving the phone in his face. But his joy was short lived when he realized he couldn’t unlock the phone.

Mark smirked at how bothered Jinyoung looked trying to enter passwords into his phone and failing.

“Unlock it please?” he asked with aegyo again hoping it would work.

“Nope…..Unless….”

“Unless what hyung? What do you want?” Jinyoung asked finally giving in.

Mark smiled finally happy that it came to what he as been waiting for and he blushed a bit before confessing. “Date.”

Jinyoung’s eyes doubled in size and his mouth dropped a bit open in shock.

“A-a d-da-daa-dateu?” Jinyoung stuttered out completely surprised and shocked. That wasn’t what he was expecting at all from him.

“And a kiss.” Mark added pushing his luck enjoying the reaction he was getting from the younger.

As soon as the word kiss was said the blush in Jinyoung’s ears reached his cheeks.

“Ey hyung, stop joking around.” He said trying to feign how affected he was by Mark’s words.

“I’m not joking Jinyoung. That’s what I really want and then I’ll delete the picture and change my lockscreen.” Mark said bargaining.

There was a long stretched out silence where they just stared at each other. Each with a light dusting pink upon their cheeks, Jinyoung with his eyes narrowed and Mark with his head cocked questioning Jinyoung.

“Ok, I’ll do it.”

Mark had to stop himself from jumping in joy when he heard him give in but he did not stop himself from going to hug the younger who chuckled a bit before hugging him back.

Mark pulled away first but still held the younger’s shoulders. “So where would you want to go for the date?”

“I don’t know. Surprise me.” Jinyoung said smiling back at him.

“Ok, I’ll make sure it’s worth your time.” Mark flashed back a bright smile at him while reluctantly letting go of Jinyoung’s shoulders. Jinyoung was about to say something but Mark’s phone started ringing.

“Make time for me on the weekend” Mark said while fishing his phone out of his pocket not breaking the eye contact he had with the younger until he nodded at his words.

Mark was about to answer his phone until Jinyoung softly called out to him, “Wait Mark…”

But as he turned to face the younger, his hand with his phone was grabbed by his wrist and dragged downwards while Jinyoung’s other hand held his neck and pulled him in for a quick kiss.

“You didn’t have to go to this extent to go on a date with me or get me to kiss you, you know?” Jinyoung said smirking.

Mark dropped his phone in shock and stared at Jinyoung while the ringtone of if their song Higher played on till it stopped. Jinyoung’s hand still lingered on his neck and his wrist was still trapped by his other hand.

“Jinyoung ah….”

“Mnn,?”

“That didn’t count. That was a popo not a kiss.”

It was now Jinyoung’s turn to blush. “Is there a difference?” he asked not quite wanting to show his inexperience.

“Of course, let me show you…”Mark muttered before leaning back in and closing the small gap that separated him from those cherry red lips he’s craved for so long.

Jinyoung gasped into the kiss and Mark used this opportunity to intertwine his tongue with the younger causing Jinyoung to let out a soft moan and pulled his neck closer and tilted his head more so that he could enjoy the full feeling of having Mark against him and his tongue exploring his warm cavern.

“M-mark” Jinyoung muttered in between the kisses causing Mark to pull away but rest his forehead against his.

“Y-yes?” he answered still trying to calm his overly beating heart.

“I can’t continue to do this right now…”Jinyoung said breathlessly and completely red.

Mark immediately pulled away “I’m sorry Jinyoungie, I just wanted this for so long and then-“

“No that’s not what I meant!” Jinyoung said cutting him off but still avoiding meeting his eyes.

“I meant I can’t continue….or it will cause something….and then I don’t know what or how many ways I’ll want you.” Jinyoung confessed to the ground.

 At this Mark felt relief spread through his body as he pulled Jinyoung in a light hug and kissed his forehead. “It’s ok, we’ll go at whatever pace you want.”

“We? What are we now Mark?” Jinyoung asked finally looking up at him.

“Whatever you want us to be. Even though I’d love to call you mine.”

Jinyoung blushed and was going to respond but Marks phone started ringing again.

Mark glanced at the caller ID on the floor and sighed. “I really have to take this call…”

Jinyoung smiled and slowly let go of his intimate hold on Mark.

Mark forced a smile because he really didn’t want to leave Jinyoung, especially after they just changed their relationship, but picked up his phone nonetheless and swiped the screen to answer.

Jinyoung mouthed its ok and smiled at him genuinely and Mark smiled back and then left the room to talk more comfortably in the hallway.

After the phone call with his parents, and sister which took longer than he thought would, he walked around the dorm to find Jinyoung but couldn’t find him anywhere.

Mark sighed and then called their manager who told him he had a schedule and left with him 10 minutes ago. When their manager asked if he wanted to be put on speaker he quickly declined and hung up the phone.

Mark went to his room and collapsed on his bed.

It had been almost 45 minutes but he could still taste Jinyoung on his lips and every time he closed his eyes he could see Jinyoung’s cute blushing face in front of him. His smile couldn’t be erased even if he tried to and it because since he has been smiling for so long his cheeks were starting to hurt. But he couldn’t help it. He finally kissed Jinyoung and he kissed him back. He also accepted to go on a date with him and he was so happy he could die.

He was shocked from his train of thoughts when his phone vibrated with a text alert.

He quickly opened his phone to see a text from Jinyoung and if it was even possible his smile widened even more and grew with each text that kept coming in.

“Before your phone interrupted me the first time I was going to say “You are always worth my time.””

“The second time it rang I was going to say “You’re already mine and I’m already yours.”

“Side note, you better put that thing on silent during our date, because I’m not going to message you what I was going to say like this again.”

“If not, I will not be your boyfriend. Do you understand?”

Mark chuckled at Jinyoung’s cute sass. He could not love the younger more than he already did but it seems everything he did kept making him fall even deeper.

“Yes my Onigiri~”

“My phone will even be off if you want it to be”

“Does this mean you’re my boyfriend now?”

Mark responded seeing that Jinyoung was reading his messages as he sent them.

“Stop calling me that btw *pouts*”

“Its cute.”

“So Yes?”

Mark received the text 5 hours later and just laughed thinking about how cute and flustered Jinyoung must have been. He knew Jinyoung would have looked it up because he said not to.

“Having him as a boyfriend will never be boring.” Mark thought to himself smiling and never responding to the text just to bother Jinyoung.
