“I thought we were going to Haeundae Beach. Why are we at Gwangalli?” I asked as I got off the car. It was a much longer ride to Gwangalli yet here we were. Sighing, my sister opened the trunk.

“Because Byun Baekhyun surfs in Gwangalli.”

Of course, why did I even ask?

We went down the steps from the parking lot to the sand. “Today’s the day,” my sister squealed, looking side to side. “I can feel it. He’s here somewhere.”

“I doubt that,” I said, but she didn’t listen.

“I just hope he’s not with Son Areum, who, IMHO, is totally not cute enough for him.”

IMH--? Oh. In My Honest Opinion. I had to chuckle and shake my head at that.

“I wonder what his eyes look like,” she suddenly said. “Up close.”

An image of his eyes popped up in my mind, and I smiled. “Brown,” I couldn’t stop myself from saying. “Chocolate brown.”

But my sister didn’t hear me and ran towards somewhere. I frowned after her and looked around. A familiar hat and blue jacket made me turn around to look back the cars in the parking lot. Aha, just as I expected. A blue car.

I wondered how it was possible we would meet again. I walked over to the man sitting in a white beach chair and the empty one next to him.

“Excuse me. Is this seat taken?” He didn’t reply, so I sat down. “No? Oh, okay.” I sighed contently. “What a beautiful day.” I turned to him and asked, “Isn’t it a beautiful day?”

The male, wearing sunglasses, looked at me briefly and shifted in his seat. He folded his arms together and put his head down, as though he going to go to sleep.

“Oh, I’m sorry. You were sleeping. Did I wake you?” I asked him innocently. He shook his head. “No? Oh, then you’re awake. Good.” I leaned over the chair to grab my sun lotion out of my bag.

“Would you put some sunscreen on my back?” I requested, shaking the bottle in my hand.

He turned to me and finally lowered his sunglasses to reveal his chocolate brown eyes. I shook the bottle some more, waiting expectantly. “How did you know it was me?” Baekhyun asked amusedly.

I raised my brows. “The hat.”

He sniffed once. “Does kind of smell like fish.”

“No, I’m pretty sure that’s you,” I told him.
