Day 86

Woohyun POV

Casually making my way across the hallway, I passed by a class, an empty class. But it’s not difficult for me to spot her despite her petite body at the corner. She was lying her head on the desk, resting I supposed. I walked up to her, ignoring my subconscious who keeps reminding me that I have decided to stay away from her. I looked at her leg, at her sprained ankle, it looks so much better now. Thank god. My gaze shifted to her face. I squatted down so that I was at her eye level. Why is it so hard? It seems harder and harder to control myself recently. I gazed at her face and without me realizing, I acted on an impulse as I leaned in. Slowly and carefully, giving her a peck on her lips. Just when I was pulling away, she stirred and her eyes opened and widened when she saw me, my face just a few inches away from her. She shot up from her seat and looked at me, confused.

Acting all calm and cool, I lied, “It’s just… there was something on your face...” And with that I walked off.

I stuttered…

To be honest, my heart skipped a few beats when she caught me off guard just now.

Day 88

Woohyun POV

There was a few knocks on the door, I opened to see her standing outside.

“Yes?” I asked.

“Do you have time? I want to talk.” She said before telling me to follow her.

We settled ourselves on one of the benches in the front yard garden. There was silence when she finally spoke.

“I know I have ask this many times but, I still want to ask because I somehow wished that your answer would change. Why...why can’t we be like the past?” She asked.
