You scooted closer to him, taking his hand and holding it. “What’s wrong?”
He threaded his fingers with yours, kissing your hand.

You sat there frozen, a stupid happy grin plastered on your face.

He kissed your cheek and smiled, letting go of your hand to pick the guitar back up.
