Omma, he’s a good man. A wonderful man.

“Of course, my love. I wouldn’t expect less from you,” the comforting voice spoke again.

Omma, I wish you could meet him.

“Omma…?” your voice cracked, eyes blurred with moisture. The room suddenly shifts, to a familiar room. A scream.

Then you saw a woman being dragged by the legs as she clawed on the floor to get away. You stared in horror as the woman screamed for you to run.

“No, you can't! Why are you dragging her away! No! don't! Please don't take her away! Give her back! give her back!” you screamed desperately. You wanted to help her, but your body was frozen still.

She’s gone from your sight.

“OMMA!!!”

You sat up straight on your bed, eyes wide open. Cold sweat covered you. Your face tear stained and your throat hurt. Burned. It was hard to breath.

You were screaming  in your dream. No, a nightmare. It was a nightmare.

You looked to your side desk to spot your alarm clock. 5.28am. You'd sigh if only your throat didn't hurt so much.

You wiped your face with the back of your hand and got out of bed. You headed towards the bathroom. “A shower. All I need is a shower. A warm shower to calm my nerve,” you thought. But you know very well that you were just going to cry in it again.
