It was a date day. Ami waited in the café they talked about last week. She breathed in the interior as she wrapped her fingers around the warm cup of tea. It was cozy.

Zico appeared at the opened entrance door, and searched around to where she could be, only to find her already smiling directly at him from a table near the corner. He happily walked up to her table, leaned down to kiss her cheek in greeting. “Hey there, twinkle eyes.”

Ami grinned at the nickname. “Hey there, pouty lips,” she greeted back. Zico puckered his lips in a tease air kiss, making Ami playfully cringe at him.

As they talked and laughed about everything and nothing, she noticed from the corner of her eye that her ex has entered the café with another girl, whom she did not recognize. She also saw how he frowned, as he dropped his arm away from the oblivious girl’s waist when he spotted Ami and glared at Zico when he saw who Ami was with.

This has been going on for a while now. She would go somewhere and her ex would “magically” appear out of nowhere, either by himself or with a different girl everytime. By now, Ami realized he was stalking her, they never talked and every time when he was with another girl, and she was alone, he would try to make it obvious to make Ami jealous. In the beginning often did hurt her, but now she just felt creeped out.

Zico rolled his eyes at him, and turned to Ami. “You want to get out of here?” he offered sweetly.

Ami nodded, and with that Zico grabbed her hand, intertwined them and led her away out of the café. Zico and her ex had a death glare competition up until they were out of the café doors.
